ROM Hacking Get-Together!

    ...right. What am I talking about? Well, giradialkia and I have had an idea to get the community together and knowing each other. Everyone being friendly with each other would ultimately lead to the community becoming a lot more productive and have a better general feel.

    What type of a get-together will it be? Well, it may share some traits and its name with PC's summer event but it's not entirely the same. Our get-together will involve having one thread where we will link an internet game (probably Java) and a thread where people will chat about the game and post their scores; it's just a bit of friendly competition, eh?

    The winners will receive emblems for winning the games. We will need screenshotted proof of your scores, though. The get-together events will most likely be held Monthly or Bi-Weekly depending on popularity.

    ...so, my question is: would anybody be interested in this?

    Okay, so, it seems this has been pretty well received.

    Anybody have any game suggestions? They need to be on a website that you don't have to download from, free and have a score so we have generate winners. :)
     
    I love this idea. I'm not so sure what game we could play. Maybe those games where you have to constantly click on a helicopter and try to get the furthest?

    By the way, HackDeoxys, not a game in a ROM Hack, just an ordinary internet game that we can all access. <:

    Sounds interesting. I'd give it a go depending what time it would happen.
     
    Yeah I'm up for it also =D Sounds interesting. But then again... Isn't it called the ROM Hacking Get-Together?
     
    I think this definitely has enough interest to begin today. :)

    I'll start writing up a thread and it'll be up by tonight. (We're playing the Helicoptor game.)
