hmm im not sure, would you mind sending me a patch where all the old events are working? i could start with the new videos then

why not make larvitar blcok the exit? its the right one
theres just one problem: the player could also leave the cave at the top exit. you can go upstairs on top of the mountain and to route 4 from there...
maybe you just block the way with a person there that jsut disapperas when the event is over

gonna eat sth now, be backi n a few mins

I'll play through the events one last time, then I'll make a patch 4 u so u can make the vids.

made the patch and sent you a pm ^^

The battles against SAMARA and JOHN aren't fully fixed yet. If you battle them it says TEAM SHADOW JOHN..and then 3 lines of some weird letters, it'll be fixed.

The 3 earthquake scripts at the entrace are okay, same with the script in greenhill where u get the map when trying to leave the town.

There are 3 warps: In Bloominggrove directly under the sign.
It'll warp you directly into the forest, just one tile right from the script ^^
after the script was activated, go left. You'll be warped in front of the bar.
The last warp activates when u try to leave the tow between the two guys (they're gone after the barevent, so u may have to run around abit to find the warp ^^).
It'll warp u into the cave to the cave event.
 
the sprites are missin (like samara, your parents, red)
i wont make the vids if the sprites ar enot inserted yet.
so SA needs the patch now
ill send it to her when she is online (i did some changes to the one you gave me)
 
oh man, it seems like i missed a lot xD
sure, i can include many sprites, but not the samara battle sprite, x-buster did that a few time before because he had to indexed it or whatever he did with it xD, so i have to send it to x-buster after i'm finished to include the ow's etc.

about the gymleader, i don't like the idea, because we have started with funny famous person, the chief, vincent raven or solid snake and then simply picking forummembers is kinda boring, of course we can take one, but not every gym leader.

about music, like i said, i want zelda! xD

about including us: like i said, why don't we make events with us, so we have to decide where the player meets us and which pokemon we have then, i could make your battle sprites for you, or if you want you can do it yourself (if i should do it give me a describtion how you want to look like)

about the rest: who is team shadow john? xD and at which point are we now? i'm a little bit confused xD

and about the trainers, why don't you write a list in the SHQ so i could start to sprite the trainers, you all have just seen my drunk man, i just have to insert it, right?

im currently inserting your sprites (just exported them from the old rom)
so you wont have to do that anymore
but i only do the overworlds, not the fight sprites^^ dunno how to do them

hmm the shq... i should change it so everybody can just chnage its content. im too lazy to update it all the time

edit: ok i mdone with the OW sprites i think, will make few vidds now

okay team shadow John was a mistake, he got the false trainer group xD
It's the battle on route 1.
 
ok, i inserted all sprites except: samara battle sprite, male and female battle sprite front + back, i leave this to you x-buster, ok?

anyway i found a big bug which is scary: after i touched a sign in bloomingdale, it warps me in the forest in front og the two team shadow members, after the battle i made one step and it warps me to spearrowdale in front of the bar, is this...normal? xD anyway, if you need something, i've got the beta for now
 
xD MT made taht on purpose cause that made it easier for him to test all the events^^
could you send the beta to MT pls so he can correct the mistake in the route 1 event?

anyway, what do you think about a FoR Forum?
I dont think it makes that much sense without having a beta released, but later it would be nice so the people can share screenshots and videos, talk about the game and help us finding bugs and improving the game
 
good idea, about the patch, i'd like to send it to x-buster first for inserting the other stuff, because it's easier for me to send it via aim, M_T doesn't have it, after that x-buster could send it to M_T, ok?
 
doesnt matter how he gets it, just give it to him xD
 
give it to anybody you like, just make sure the person wil lgive it to MT^^

i recommend setting the board language to german for you account, otherwise you wont uderstand the administration xD
