I always lost against Sabrina,

the guides actually say that she is the hardest Gym Leader in Kanto.

No question it would be Lego Sabrina... I mean, she was the star of my Pokemon Legos for a while. Not many people would go to the length of painting Lego hair green, but I did it. I remember posting that picture a long time ago... that was after I lost the long hair that I painted green (I moved on to Sailor Moon later and used that hair on Sailor Pluto, then I think I lost it). Yeah, that would have to be my craziest thing with her.

(For the record, I used Dugtrio to beat her the first time.)

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me... *glances* Oh hi! I'm back again :) ^_^
I was wondering whether PsychicAbsol could post me some romance or horror fics about Sabrina :D LOL... And I don't recall a Lego Sabrina? That sounds weird.
The funniest thing was that I was playing Pokemon blue on my computer, I battled Sabrina and... She was holding a loongg whip in the original spirte?? I was like: 0_o!

XD! Yes, CPF, I remember Lego Sabrina....I don't think I saved the pic, but I saw it...yes, you're right, that's a crazy thing to do. XD Nevertheless, it's the only way of 'building' a Sabrina figure we have, 'cause the Trading Figure Game is taking its time (and will probably never come out in Germany...>>)

Happy birthday to you, sabrina_diamond!!! *throws candy, and confetti, and plushies, and flowers, and Zammy, and...o,o oops...* Hm, I do remember that I wanted to send you the list...must have forgotten it again. ^^;;; Anyway, it's better if you say what kind of fanfic you want, because the list is, like I said, very long and that way, I only have to send you one or two genres and not everything.
I think you haven't seen the Lego Sabrina because you weren't a member back then...somebody who saved the picture? XD
Yup, she does have a whip...we already discussed it, I think (as if there's anything we haven't discussed yet...).

I found the longer green hair, so I put that on my Lego Sabrina... sometime in the future I may take a picture of her again, if possible. Of course the green paint is peeling off, as I painted that with some cheap paint way back in 2001 or so. That was back when I had "Pokemon Survivor" with my massive collection of Lego people (Jasmine ended up winning); my sister and I had the large bunch of Pokemon characters compete in all sorts of stuff, though it was sort of fixed; both of us preferred the female characters, so the game ended up with 10 or so females outlasting all the males (Giovanni being the final male standing). I think the reason Sabrina didn't win was because I already considered her a Pokemon Master, and becoming a Pokemon Master was the big prize. Yes, I was a pretty crazy fan back then. Now all my ideas come out in fanfics instead of Legos.

By the way, here is the original picture again:

XD! Okay, I admit, I used to play all sorts of games with my fake pokemon figures too (as I didn't like Lego so much, I just used game figures I re-named after the characters), but I didn't try survivor...I had different ways to torture them...*cough* Sabrina also didn't always win. I thought it wasn't fair to the others. ^^
BTW...when will the next chapter come out? 0=)

And talking about chapters...part two!!!

Will will appear in this chapter...but don't think that you'll like this chapter. No, you won't like this chapter...you'll probably hate me for it (and for the cliffhanger that I leave you with).

Discovering Dark Fantasies, Part Two

~*~

Two weeks later…

I didn't hate the gym leader conventions. It may appear to others that I do, but the truth is different. Okay, I admit that I often sit alone and avoid talking to the others, but when you have to choose between gossiping with someone like Misty's sisters or Clair or remaining silent, you would go for the second option, too, wouldn't you?
In reality, I like to listen to the others. It's quite useful and revealing. More interesting than Lance's speeches anyway. I swear that guy can rattle on for hours and if he would listen to himself just once, it would be sorted into the suicide category...
Not as if his current girlfriend is any better. Her head is already so big it's surprising it hasn't exploded yet.
"I wonder what you're thinking about…no wait, let me guess, as there are not many alternatives…" I smiled. Behind the many mental cases our league had, there were some nice people after all. Will, for example. I will admit that we didn't get along so well at first, I was too jealous of the psychic elite trainer, but now, I was viewing him as one of my few friends here. "Next time you know, Daisy will have chewed off her tongue." He sat next to me, eyeing me curiously. I raised my arm, but stopped. There was no reason to hide it anymore. I couldn't anyway. Try to hide the fact that you're six months pregnant and you will fail. "Are you going to tell Lance or not? 'Cause, you know, he's neither stupid nor blind and the press isn't either…hell, the press is eagle-eyed." He sighed. "Yes, Will, I will tell him, but not in front of the others. You know them as well as I do. And you know how they view me." "Geez, Brina, psychics will never have a good reputation except in battles. It's kinda traditional now. If you're lucky, your grandchildren will live in a more open-minded world." "Provided that I have grandchildren." Now that thought wasn't so unreal anymore. Only a few years ago, when I had been just 'healed', my parents said they wouldn't even start to imagine how it would be to see me having my own family. They were happy enough with having me back. But now… "We'll see what the future throws at us." Will leaned back as Lance walked into the room. "First of all, I would say it brings the sandman himself to us." I grinned and leaned back, too. It wasn't so comfortable, but the chairs of the league weren't designed for comfort. And not for my sore back either.

"Nice to meet you, dear gym leaders." We stood up altogether, nodding silently and sitting down at the same time. It was a ritual, a senseless one, but Lance insisted on it. "With the power I was given as the champion, I hereby inaugurate this autumn's gym leader meeting." His dull tone made every solemnity fall flat. "And now, to the first item of today…we again have a few cases of gym leaders giving out the badges for free." Suddenly, it was quiet. Lance's voice had completely lost its monotony and was now sharp and accusing. I swallowed. I wasn't free of this crime either, but to say in my defence, I had done a lot worse. "Anybody who wants to comment or…confess?" I could see Misty's sisters tremble. They were the most endangered out of us. I couldn't even count the times anymore the gym inspector had already visited them. It was Misty's fault that the gym hadn't been closed yet. "No?" Lance sighed. "Well, I don't want to question your honesty, but this seems a bit…" "Isn't there a rule that says that a gym leader has to find the opponent worthy of the badge?" I smiled slightly. Janine was still young and new to this meeting; one had to forgive her the hastiness. Lance made rules that weren't written down in the league's instruction book. It was a matter of honour. "I don't see how someone can be worthy if he or she hasn't beaten the gym leader." 'Of course, making me laugh after all those years is no achievement at all. And what else did Ash do? He saved Erica's pokemon, I think…' Of course, I would be careless to say that out loud. I didn't want to risk my job. Not now. Especially not now. I could still feel her kicking, but I had to ignore it for the time being. "There are trainers who did amazing things in front of the gym leader's eyes…" I smiled again. Koga's honour was even greater than Lance's. No one would dare to challenge or attack his daughter verbally without him interfering. "This league is about Pokemon battling, not saving the world." "Well, that's nice to know. Proves your policy regarding Team Rocket true. When was the last time one of their members got arrested for more than two weeks? And for what? Illegal parking?" Some laughing. Morty was brave for saying that, but the ghost trainer liked to risk more than anyone of us. His ghost school was doing quite well. "Mortimer…." Silence again. Lance's authority was not to be questioned. "This is not the time for discussing these matters. They don't have to do anything with the current topic." Well, I had to admit, he was right. Maybe I should suggest talking about a new approach towards Team Rocket for the next meeting.
Or not. Best not to jeopardy with my future life. I wasn't feeling so well anyway. I still had to talk with Lance about my maternity leave and that would be straining.
"Is it really such a big problem? I mean, how many gym leaders have given out badges for free?" Lance looked around us and nodded. Slowly, a few arms were raised. Misty's sisters, of course, Flint, no surprise there either. Erica, Janine…Agatha? Well, that was surprising. She had been a member of the Elite four. But beneath the hard shell was a nice old women, I knew. We had talked a few times. She was a bit like the grandma I never had to me.

Slowly, I raised my arm too, thinking about Ash again. There was no one from Johto to admit this 'crime', except of course, Morty, and, after a while, Jasmine. Morty of course hadn't really given out the badges for free, he just wanted to infuriate Lance.
"I see…" The look in Lance's eyes was indifferent now. "Eight out of sixteen…50%, isn't it?" It wouldn't be wrong to say that Morty's voice was smug now. "Quite a lot. Do you want to arrest them all now?" "Of course not. Don't want to arrest two of my strongest gym leaders…" I blushed without noticing it. I was one of the four strongest, the third-strongest, to be exactly, and the strongest in Kanto. Of course, only because Agatha wasn't counting, but still…
"Nice to know that they are betraying me too…" Lance's voice was dripped with sarcasm, but I still thought he was insulting us. Insulting me, to be precisely. I can't really tell why, but I thought he was speaking to me and only to me. A wrong assumption, but like I said, I wasn't feeling so well…
"We're not betraying you." I said, almost offended. I knew that the second I had started talking, everyone was staring at me, but this was nothing new. This wasn't the first time I had said something at a gym leader's convention. "We're simply giving trainers that are still young to the league a chance. They have a good heart, they're brave and the nerves to go through this all, but sometimes, they're just unlucky to have chosen the wrong Pokemon type, or they have a bad day or something else that kept them from winning. Even we don't win always but that doesn't prove our incompetence of leading a gym." "And sometimes, these trainers accomplish greater things outside of gym battles. They defeat Team Rocket, not us. And you're saying that you don't want them to be a member of your precious league?" Lance looked down. I wasn't caring anymore about the later outcome of the discussion. I had said what I thought had to be said and that was my contribution.
There were many buts and ifs, and in the end, everything remained the same. Lance would never legalize the unofficial "give badges to worthy people" paragraph and the gym leaders would still do it. Most of them didn't want to be seen as mean and heartless, and if there was really a kid once whose parents were lawyers, most didn't wait and saw themselves be charged. If you did everything right, life as a gym leader was easy. I had made too many mistakes…

"And now to our last item on the list…" I yawned. It was getting late, already past ten pm, and I was tired. I was just not in the condition to sit on this uncomfortable wooden chair for more than five hours and that had not only to do with the baby.
"The next gym leader's ball this December." Ears pricking up, interest rising. The girls were glancing at each other. It didn't take psychic powers to know that the newest fashion trends were discussed silently, make-up was already bought, the men were shared like parts of an apple, with the most handsome guys being seen as the golden pieces. I sighed. I wouldn't come anyway. The ball was in December like Lance had said moments ago, and I was not going to dare to go outside then. Even if the baby wasn't due then, how should I find a partner in time? Robin? Never. And the other guys, especially the gym leaders and elite trainers, were already taken…
"You could come with me…" "Will, please refrain from reading my thoughts!" "Huh? But, Brina, that's what you always do to me!" I glared at him. "Yes, and it should stay that way!" He shrugged. He wasn't as strong as I was, but right now, I couldn't defend myself. "And no, sorry to turn that offer down, but I won't come anyway." Before Will could even say something, I heard the malicious voice of Clair. "Not coming, freak? How sad, I thought you could entertain us with your little tricks…turning people into dolls again, eh?" If I still had my powers, she would probably be the first to experience it… "But I see, you've gained a bit, haven't you? What's this, the magical show of transforming into a fat walrein…" "Girls!" I wasn't one to thank Lance for interrupting her, because, partly, she was right. But I didn't mind. Not anymore.
The rest of the speeches weren't worth listening too. I could feel some of the others throwing glances between Clair and me. We weren't on good terms, never had, would never. There was no particular reason for it, just a 'friendly' rivalry. I had beaten her once in a Pokemon battle…

Finally, it was over. I had already begun to fall asleep and thankfully, Will nudged me awake. I nodded silently in his direction before walking up to Lance. I had to wait until the others had gotten out of the room, which included Clair. She, of course, dawdled a bit when she saw me waiting patiently. So in the end, I had to follow Lance to the giant staircase of the league's headquarter to get the chance to talk to him privately. The lights were dimmed down a bit, so it was darker than usually.
"It's getting late, Sabrina, don't you want to catch the last train?" "I will get it, don't worry." Actually, I had only twenty minutes left to get to the train station, but if I didn't manage, I could still use Kadabra's teleport…
He was walking faster now. "Look, Lance, I have to talk to you…" He waved his hand vaguely in my direction. "If it's about the incident with Clair, don't worry, she's always searching for a chance to pick up a quarrel…" 'She sure is…' "No, no, it's…" I didn't know how to say it. Again. I just stood there, looking down. The building was pretty big…I had to be careful not to get dizzy.
He blinked. "Yes?" "Lance, I'm pregnant and I would like to leave for a short time…" I closed my eyes. I felt faint… "You're pregnant? So that's the reason…I was also wondering, you're always quite slim and so…" He laughed a bit, but it was as if the sound came from far away. "Of course you can leave. Don't want to overexert you…" This came as a surprise. I had never thought that Lance would just give me off so easily. Maybe Robin was right, after all… "And when?" "I thought about early in November…that would be the seventh month then." "I see…well, I'll get the documents downstairs, if you would follow me please…" I stepped down when the blackness surrounded me and I could feel myself falling…

Wow! What happened? It appears we lost a couple posts or so. Anyway, I began working on Chapter 44, before having a combination of writer's block and trouble with tenses (I'm writing a different story in present tense, which clashes with the past tense that I used for that one). But it's going to be a nice chapter, once I get to it.

By the way, "Pokemon Trainer" appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That's right, an Ash Ketchum-look-and-sound-a-like character with 3 Pokemon. Imagine if Sabrina had been the trainer, instead of that generic trainer... I know, that's a thought that would only come up in this group, nowhere else.

*blinks* Yes, we did lose a few...but only three or four, I think. Oddly enough, my postcount still counts the two lost posts, I think. (And the last part of my fanfic wasn't lost, yay!)
Anyone remembering what was said? XD
*happy* So finally news about the new chapter! *is waiting more or less patiently now*
You're right, we're about the only group who would say that. Other fanclubs would rather choose their character, wouldn't they? But Sabrina in 3D...hm...*.*
*sighs* I know that the last chapter is now apparently only one post away, but I'll give you the next part today anyway. Want to get this thing finished too.

Warning: A bit of bad language, but nothing really serious. XD
Discovering Madness...Again, Part One

Saffron City, next day

"Honey, did ya read the latest news?" A gruff, smoky voice answered from the living room. "No, whatcha happen'?" A women in her mid-forties came out of the kitchen, waving the newspaper. Her hair was full of curlers and she looked as if she had just woken up with them after forgetting them last night. "The city's gym leader, you know, that witch, that psycho…" "Hm?" The man didn't really answer, for he wasn't caring, too. He wanted to watch the last football game, not hear his wife gossiping about VIPs. "Did you know what happened to her?" "No?" Of course he wouldn't. Did he look as if he had already read the damn newspaper?! "She fainted after the convention! Just fainted! Circulatory collapse or something like that… And fell down the long staircase of the league! Hahah, serves her right, that witch…" "Hm…" Now, what channel was the sport's channel again? "And did you know what? She was pregnant!" He looked up. "Was pregnant?" Who? His wife?!? "Yeah…of course, that witch's lucky and still is, but heheh, serves her right…no father and pregnant, hehehe…" She waved the newspaper in front of her husband's eyes. He was annoyed. "The newspapers are full of it! Such a scandal, isn't it? I mean, she's the gym leader…has some reputation, that girl. Bet her offspring will be just as crazy as her …the Journal says they have competent sources that say it's going to be a boy. Little mad boy it's going to be, that is. If he's going to survive." If she would just stop talking for a second, then he could at least understand the commentator! "And now?" He tried to make conversation, but only to satisfy her and make her go! The only way to deal with his wife, anyway. "And now? Well, she's still in the hospital of course, being treated, and probably will be there for some time, needs her rest, the girl…didn't miscarry like I said, but there's a high chance that there might be problems with the baby…heheh, serves her right!" Her voice was now getting higher and he was getting more and more annoyed. "Lance immediately gave her time off, of course! Didn't want to overtax her…heheh, seems like he already did with that idiotic convention of his, that foolish wanna-be dictator. Only sad that it didn't work or we would have one or two psychics less now…" "Hm…" "Here, here! '21-old psychic endangers life of her unborn son…'…'the child's powers blocking off her own, so she couldn't use recover…'…wonder why she didn't say something earlier! Must already be pretty far, that girl…." "Hm…" "Of course, we wouldn't have noticed until she already had the baby. Clever that girl, so we couldn't protest or do something…" "Hm…" "I think I would like to have a baby too…" "Hm…" "Are you even listening to me anymore, honey?!?"

~*~

Years had passed by. Sabrina was already stronger than most of the students. It wouldn't be long before she would be announced to be the first female member of the Elder's council and, to top that, the youngest ever. Her father was so proud. So proud that he hadn't noticed the rapid changing his girl had undergone. She was emotionless. There was nothing in her life that mattered anymore other than training her powers. Nothing. She spent days and nights in the gym, training alone, because there was no one that could train her anymore. She wasn't coming home anymore. For her, there was no other 'home' other than the gym. The gym was her home.
Her mother started to worry. She had lived under psychics for years now, even before she had met her husband, so she knew that this was not normal. Her little daughter had become obsessed with training, obsessed with getting stronger, obsessed with being the best. She already was one of the best and not even ten years old. What was there to achieve anymore? Shouldn't she start enjoying her life? Enjoying, like any other child would do it?

"Dear, I think we need to talk about our girl…" Jonathan looked up from his dinner. Sabrina again wasn't eating with them, her mother couldn't even remember the last time they had sat together like a real family. It hurt her to see them drift apart like this. "Hm? What's wrong with her? Some of the teachers complaining?" She sighed. Again, he was only thinking about her school career. As far as she knew, there was no chance that one of the teachers could say something bad about her daughter. She was already a teacher herself. "I think it's not normal for a girl her age to spend so much time outside of her home! She's away for days, weeks sometimes! And she's what age? Only eight! I tell you, she's too young! This stupid training takes her childhood away from her!" "Melissa!" Jonathan stood up, slamming his fist onto the table's surface, fury in his eyes. "This training is important! And don't you see how strong she is! She likes the training, she likes it! And I think she could stop whenever she wants to!" "Please, deary…" His wife tried to calm him down. "I'm only worried about her…" He sat down, closing his eyes. "I see…well, maybe you are right. She has been training a lot recently. Maybe it's time for a break." Melissa smiled. He had realized the importance of this part of education, at least. There was no good in training till the bitter end.

Just then, Sabrina did come home.

She didn't pay her parents any mind, just walked up the stairs to stride into her parents' room and started to look for something. Her parents, confused by this behaviour, glanced at each other before her father followed her. She was rummaging through his belongings, but it was clear that she had been searching for something particular, as her eyes started to shine when she pulled out his golf clubs. He was surprised; he had no idea what she wanted to do with them. The little girl dragged the clubs behind her, again down the stairs and went into the living room. No word had been said so far.
Sabrina sat down on the floor, holding one of the clubs in her small hands, staring at it. Jonathan could feel her powers emerging, circulating around the metal like a growing tornado. "Just what are you doing there?" He asked, angrily. "Playing." Her voice was innocent, but cold. Melissa was now peeking into the living room too, surprised by what her daughter called 'playing'. "But this is no toy!" Her father replied angrily, pulling the club away from her. Melissa immediately knew that this wasn't going to end well, but she had no chance to change the situation. Sabrina's powers suddenly raised, her eyes glowing in a creepy red both of her parents had never seen before. They both felt a force pulling at their body that hadn't been there before. And then, they were hurled backwards, hurled out of the room, pushed back from their daughter who only watched impassively and then went on with her 'playing'.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next night…
Sabrina was still awake. Her mind was still working, trying to find a way to get out of this dead end. Her parents had forbidden her to train any more. Of course, she wouldn't listen to them. Not anymore. Her training was more important, it was everything that mattered in her life and no one, absolutely no one was going to stop her from becoming stronger, from becoming the best. Not even her parents.
So she had to stop them. And she knew exactly how.
She couldn't do anything to her father. He was also psychic, though not as strong as her anymore, but still, he would have ways to defend himself or flee. Maybe it would be the best if he actually flew. But her mother, on the other hand…
The little girl walked into the bedroom of her parents. There was not much light, just what the curtain let through. The moon couldn't be seen outside; it was pitch black and the street lamps were far away. But Sabrina didn't need any light. Her powers told her enough. Just like with her so called 'friends' years ago, she knew what to look for, the aura of her mother. It was different than the one from her father, smaller, weaker, just a petite sparkle around her sleeping body. She traced the bed sheet with her small fingers, her own aura flaring up. She had planned this action only moments ago, but she was sure it would work. She didn't want to lose her mother, there was still a part of her, inside of her that wanted to feel, that wanted to have friends, to be happy and that part would never be gone completely. It would just…transform.
Her mother started to glow in a soft, white light and then, she shrank. Skin transformed into fabric, eyes made out of glass, an unreal, eternal smile embroidered onto her face, something her daughter couldn't do anymore. She took the doll. "Time to play, mommy." "Hm…what?" Sabrina hadn't anticipated her father waking up. But she stood sill, staring at him with her dark, haunting eyes. "Sabrina, deary, what…what did you do?" He had noticed his wife missing. He had noticed the doll in his daughter's hand. He counted two and two together and came to a horrible conclusion…
"You…what…" Her eyes glowed again. She knew she couldn't transform her father, he was too strong for her, but at least she could drive him away. "What…argh!" Pain shot through his mind, his body, everything. He couldn't do anything about it, he was blinded, pained, helpless. His daughter was in control, and now he was sure that there was something wrong with her. Seriously wrong.
"You'll never keep me from training anymore. Go away dad. Don't come back, ever." Harsh words, but he had the feeling she would do something ever more serious if he didn't obey. She had already proven that she could kill with her powers, whenever it was on accident or not didn't matter anymore.
So he teleported away, frightened, worried about his family and wondering if the good times would ever come back.
Sabrina looked around the empty room. She didn't need this house anymore, it was just useless ballast. Something would have to be done about it.
However … she was alone now. Very alone. No friends, no family, nothing. Pain grew inside her, tears were forming, but she fought back. She didn't allow herself to cry, or to feel at all for the matter. Emotions were distracting, keeping her analytical mind from training, weakening her. Something would have to be done about that, too.
She went into her room, which felt even emptier than that of her parents. Her eyes fell upon her favourite doll, looking like an exact duplicate of herself. An idea rose.
Soon, that doll was opening its eyes, gazing at a house that was soon going to be destroyed. Just like the life of its inhabitants.
Saffron City, 20th December, 9.34 pm
I woke up startled, gasping. It took me a few moments to realize that it had been only a nightmare, only a nightmare. Still, I was shuddering and the room felt a lot colder than it should be.
I didn't know for how long I had slept, but it couldn't have been too long. That nightmare surely had scared me…even more because it had been reality. All of that had really happened, heck, I had been there, I had been the cause of all of it. But until now, I had thought to have banned these memories away, not to let them haunt me. It was the past, no need to remember it so clearly…
I sighed, leaning back in my bed, closing my eyes, trying to relax…it was the past, really. Still, this nightmare had brought back again a lot of bitterness, of emotions, of pain and guiltiness …
I blinked, staring at the ceiling for a moment. Pain? Nightmares weren't supposed to give you physical pain…
Except if…
"Oh freaking hell of a damned…!!!"
~~~~~~~~~
A/N: As you can see, the next part is going to be the last one (plus the epilogue, of course). So last chance for everyone to place bets on the question if the baby's going to be a boy or a girl. XD

I'm predicting it's a girl... very nice chapter... I guess that was a random couple in Saffron City in the first part... then a very nice, detailed description of Sabrina's past... I'm glad to see she's all right... at least for now. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm not going to say anything 'cause...well, I'm the author, I know the answer. XD
Right, it is a random couple...my first intention was to make them the kids from the first chapter (Amber and David), but I dropped that idea. If I ever re-write this story (and I do that- too often...), then I might change it so these two do appear again. Over all, they should symbolize what some (not all) of Saffron's citizens think of Sabrina. *pessimistic mood*
^^ The past was inspired by some short story I found years ago that also dealt with how Sabrina transformed her mother. Can't find the link or the story anymore, sadly.
XD! Yes, she's alright for the moment, but let's wait a few hours....

That doesn't sound good... are you preparing to kill off Sabrina? That would be especially cruel... I'll just have to wait and see.

XD!!!! 1. Would I announce it that openly if I were to kill Sabrina? 2. Do you really think *I* could kill her off? (+ in that situation, considering that there would be an orphan left?) 3. Well, just say that there'll be a moment where she wishes I had killed her off...0=)

All right, all right, enough with the teasing! Then again, maybe I deserve it after I did threaten to kill her off several times in my story (never having the intent of doing so, though). And maybe you're waiting for me to write my chapter before you post yours... I'll have to get to work on it.

Okay, okay, I'll stop! I just don't know when I'm simple giving out information and when the teasing starts...sorry. ^^;;;;
But now that you mention it...you do deserve a bit teasing after all. 0=) (Although I think it's pretty obvious what happens in the last part...)
No, I won't wait that long (j/k). I was thinking about posting it today, but now after that exhibiton I was on for seven hours, I feel too tired to read through the email of my beta and edit all the mistakes, so you'll have to wait. But not too long, I promise. After all, it's the last chapter/part... that doesn't change the fact that I would be very pleased by you working on the next chapter, though. 0=)

Okay, so you convinced me. I wrote Chapter 44, which is the last chapter before the big wedding that I'm sure you can't wait to see. There's some information on that in this chapter too. Sabrina tells Liza some info on the wedding, and you can guess what happens from there.

*happiness overload* XD OMFG, THISISSOGREATIWASWAITINGIMPATIENTLYFORTHISCHAPTER AND I AM GOING TO STOP TALKING LIKE THIS NOW....
Mind if I write the review tomorrow? Because, well...you updated today, so I think it would be just fair if I posted the last part + epilogue today...

Discovering Madness...Again, Part Two

The streets of Saffron City are never quiet, not even at night, not even in the middle of December, when the nights are long and dark. There is always some buzzing, trucks and cars moving, the voices of masses coming out of the several open night bars. Lights flashing around the streets. The second-biggest city in Kanto never sleeps, never comes to rest. Even the quarter around the gym doesn't.
There are always voices, different tones, whispering, shouting, screams of old and new lives…

Saffron City, gym, 21st December, 7.14 am

"Damn it, Sabrina, you were right! It is a girl!" 'Yeah, right, as if I care right now…' I gasped for air, the world stepping in and out of focus. Hell couldn't be any worse. Really. Now I knew why so many female VIPs choose a Caesarean. They were cleverer than me and didn't strain themselves like that. But thankfully, it was over now…
"Yeah, surprising, isn't it? I can guarantee that I have seen a boy on the ultrasound image, but, well, here we are, and it's a girl…" I would have loved to tell that damn midwife that this was certainly not a topic I liked to discuss now, but my voice had said goodbye moments ago. Guess I had screamed a bit too much… but the pain…the pain! Never again, I tell you, never again. Having a baby was definitely the best way of protection, at least for the woman.
And by what I could read out of Robin's face, for some men, too. He was pale…how had he come inside anyway? He hadn't been here hours ago…okay, I admit, my memory of the last ten hours was quite a bit fogged and messed up, but I could swear that he hadn't been here a moment ago…
<Teleported in when Artur told me to…> There was no smile in his face, just a mix between shock and indisposition, something I could understand right now. There was still the scent of blood in the air…
<I…didn't want to leave you alone. Not now…but…> He chuckled uncomfortably. <I felt sick in between, so I had to go outside…if I hadn't, the doctor would have two patients right now…> <I think she does have two patients…> I had to fall back on my telepathy, but even it staggered and sounded weak. I hadn't used my powers in such a long time that they had gotten a bit rusty.

Artur was already throwing a celebration of some sorts. "Wait till I tell the other students! They'll be thrilled!" I stared at him. Telling the other students? Now? It was early morning, they were probably sleeping and second, I didn't want anyone to know and bother me, I wanted to rest, to be left in peace. "You…won't…" I gasped out. Dear, was this really my voice? I sounded like a marathon runner after the finals.
"Really, Artur, I think it would be best if you don't tell them…" The gym's manager looked disappointed. "But…why?" 'Because I feel burned out now and want to sleep, maybe?' Robin winked at him. "Hehe, you're not the only one with a bet running…" Artur looked down. Well, he had lost his bet and thus, half of his wage. Not that I was concerned… his fault anyway. "I betted with one of the elders that it would be a girl and I want to tell him face-to-face that he lost…hehe, I had faith in my girlfriend…" I cocked an eyebrow. "Since when?" <And who told you that I'm your girlfriend again?!> He didn't answer. "So now, I won a Flat TV!" His grin was wide enough to make me hate him again. "What? I need the money now, I have to pay maintenance for the next eighteen years, have some mercy with me!" I shook my head. Whatever had made him father my girl, it was certainly not love or some intelligent act of breeding psychics, I would bet both my wage and a Flat TV on that…
"Now, boys, would you please let me through? I think someone wants to get to know her mother here…" I gulped. I had been wrong; it was not over yet…

"Uh…" I had to confess that she was really cute in my eyes. Short, still a bit wet black hair, with violet highlights, just like mine. Her eyes were closed, as if she was sleeping, but they would open soon enough. She wasn't too big, of course, she had been a bit early, over a weak too early, but that didn't matter, the midwife had told me.
I stroke her little head, shaking as I did. This was all so new…my child…my own…

"Heh, why pink again?" "Because girls are usually dressed in pink!" "But that's stereotypical! Besides, she was meant to be a boy, so why not blue?!" "Shut up!"
Silence. So my voice hadn't lost its authority completely. I sighed, closing my eyes and stroking her again. She was cuddling against me, a feeling rose inside me I couldn't place yet. Love?
"Could you please get out and let me be alone…with her?" The words came out before I could think about them. It was as if they had been placed naturally into my mind. I suddenly wanted to be alone, to enjoy this silent moment, to give her the chance to settle in. If this was a new situation for me, it surely was for her, too.
"Okay, boys, lets get out…" The woman pulled them outside by their ears, the boys protesting loudly. I smiled, then sighed again. I was alone now…alone with her, of course. And surprisingly, I was glad about that.
It was snowing outside now. Peaceful whiteness. "Welcome little one. So it was you who bothered me all these months, eh?" She yawned, slowly opening her eyes. It was a questioning look, but I didn't know what the question was. And her eyes…her eyes…not as dark as mine, surely not. Brighter, but also violet, blended with blue. A nice colour.
I closed my own eyes, leaning back, relaxing. This was no mistake, I knew now. Robin was right; she deserved the chance to live. Everyone does. She wouldn't make the same mistakes I had done, I wouldn't let her. Maybe the circumstances of her birth weren't the best, but we would make the best out of it. Partly my duty.
"I promise you that you'll have a happier childhood than I did, my girl…you'll probably have my powers, but that doesn't matter. It shouldn't keep you from being a happy child…" I sniffed, trying to fight back the tears. Why cry now? Why let my emotions overwhelm me? Why not? "I can't guarantee anything, so have mercy with me too…I'm only human…" She nuzzled even closer, smiling. And I was crying.

"Well, like Robin said, you were supposed to be a boy and even though I wanted a girl, I only thought of naming a boy…I suppose you'll have to go with a boy's name then." Blinking. Maybe she really understood me and that was her way of showing me how bad of an idea that was. "Don't worry…some names are gender-neutral, you know…little Morgan."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Four and a half years later…
"And again, Robin." "Sabrina, you know I'll never manage to remember and use these stupid formulas!" I sighed, frustrated, and hit him with the pencil on the head. "And you call yourself psychic?" He growled at me. "If I had known that being psychic comes with using math…" "Robin, it's not that difficult. It's just a formula to calculate a psychic's mind power and thus, it's necessary to know it by heart!" "Yadda, yadda, yadda…you know, if you weren't the head mistress of that stupid school, I would even believe you." I closed my eyes. I had had worse students than him, but he was close on getting to the top. And dangerously close to getting on my nerves. "Well, I'm not the one with financial problems!" Robin glared at me from out of the corners of his eyes. "Of course not, who of us has to pay the other?!" I shrugged. "Should have thought of that before you got involved with me! And anyway, I'm the one with the child now, so…" Robin sighed. "While we're on topic, where is Morgan anyway?" "Outside and don't change the topic! I'm not hiring you as a teacher if you can't recite even the easiest formulas!" And hit him with the pencil again. "Ouch! What kind of 'easy formula' is one with three radicals anyway?!" I sighed. He would never get it.
While Robin was working on the 'easier' formulas, ones that were supposed to be taught to the younger students, I looked out of the window, out into the garden. I couldn't see my little daughter, but I wasn't worried. If there was something wrong, I would feel it immediately. Our psychic bond was strong. Of course, she wasn't psychic yet, but that didn't matter. The bond was there, existed between all parents, but between psychics, it was even stronger. Even though I had never felt that close to my parents, never felt that way…
Something…
I pulled myself into reality again, consciousness snapping awake, mind tensing. Something was rising. Something had awoke. Something familiar, but at same time, new… But I didn't know who, or what…
"Sabrina?" Robin looked at me with his bright, violet coloured eyes. And I suddenly realized… "Something wrong?"
I wasn't paying him attention anymore. I was running outside, panicked, frightened, horrified for what might happen if I didn't arrive in time. I wouldn't allow history to repeat itself, no, I just couldn't, I had promised her…
I found them not far away from the playground that had once been my territory. It was ironic, oh so ironic…but I couldn't care less about this now. I had to prevent this from happening all over again.
"Morgan…" She was sitting with her back to me. I could see her friends sitting not far away, startled by my sudden appearance. They weren't used to my teleportation powers, but Morgan was. She turned around, smiling and pulling her long hair out of her face. "Hi mommy!" She jumped onto her feet and into my arms. I was glad…nothing had happened yet. "Look what I did!" I blinked. "What?" One of her friends, the little Diane, stood up. She had been nibbling on an apple. "I got it down for her when she told me she was hungry." Morgan seemed very pleased with what she had done. "See!" She pointed to an apple tree next to the swing. I could see a small blue light surrounding one of the fruits and then, it was floating over to us. Morgan grabbed it, took a bite and smiled again. "Just like you do it, mommy! I remembered and tried it myself! And it worked!"
I sat her down, smiling. The day I had feared had come…but nothing bad had happened, nothing bad at all. She hadn't used her powers to kill anybody, oh no…she had helped her friends with them! What a start! So much better than mine. I was so glad, really glad…one moment, all fear and panic was loaded off me…
"We should start your training now, Morgan." Her eyes shined. "Really?" "Yes…but first, I think we should wash these apples before you eat them!" She chuckled.
Epilogue
Fourteen years later…
"You know, mother, when I asked you why you and dad aren't married, I wasn't expecting to hear through a complete novel…" I giggled. Morgan was sitting next to me on a hill not far away from Saffron's city gates. There was a slight breeze, making our hair fly around us. She resembled me only slightly, being a bit more like her father. I still couldn't understand why she left her hair that short, but well, somewhere deep inside her, she was a boy, after all…
"But it's the truth. It all started in my own childhood." "Which was pretty bad, I know..:" She leaned back into the grass, arms folded behind her head, eyes closed. "But children always oppose their parents…" "Yeah…" I sighed. She wasn't a little girl anymore, already eighteen herself and thus, adult. Time had passed by so fast. Maybe it was time for the 'One day, all the land that is touched by the sun will be yours' speech…
I watched her resting in the grass.
Or maybe it wasn't…
There was some crackle in the grass behind us. We both turned around, alerted, our powers searching for the presence that had dared to disturb us.
I relaxed. It was only Percy, one of our students, around Morgan's age.
"Oh sorry…." He blushed deeply. "I didn't think that you were…uh…eh…" He giggled uneasily. I had a feeling what this was about; I hadn't told Morgan that I would come with her…
As soon as he was away- he had dashed off very quickly, I nudged her. "Some secrets you want to tell me?" "Mother!" She growled, but I could see her blush. "I see…no need to tell me. I was as bad as you…" "And father was worse." "Correction, he is. No past tense, present." She glanced at me, apparently still trying to defend herself. "At least I'm not as bad as Mab! She's dating- or well, trying to date Draco!" I stared at her. "Draco? Lance's son? Since when? And why don't I know about this?!" Morgan grinned. "She didn't tell you, that's it. She doesn't have to, you know?" "I do know…you didn't tell me about Percy either…" "Mother! We're not together or something!" I laughed. Maybe it wasn't so bad if history repeated itself sometimes…
The End
A/N: Yep, CPF, you were right. ^^ It is a girl.
One cookie for everyone who get's the hint about Morgan's name (and no, Zammy, my MSN name is just an indirect hint). Two cookies for everyone who get's the hint about Percy's/Draco's name (Hint: I might be a HP fan, but this has nothing to do with it). Two cookies especially for Zammy if he gets the nod thrown towards him. XD
And since I'm a nice author...the disclaimer. Pokemon does not belong to me, but Morgan does. No stealing her before asking me! >)
Wow... a very nice and happy ending. I would have liked to see Sabrina get married, but oh well. All I know about the name Morgan is that it was the name of a boy who gave my mom a bunch of trouble in her first-grade class last year (she's a first-grade teacher). So the name "Morgan" makes me think of my mom complaining about him... but it's great to see how the future didn't duplicate the past. Now, I'm going to feel like I'm jumping way ahead in my story by going ahead a couple weeks, but you jumped ahead 18 years just like that. But at least everything gets resolved and I can feel satisfied about the story, which I originally thought was going to be only that first chapter, which of course ended on a cliffhanger. I can't say I have many guesses over the names, although Draco sounds like Dragon to me, and Lance uses Dragon-types.
Is Chapter 44 of my story what I thought it would be? No, it's a lot shorter, but I realized that I've got to put off some stuff until the epilogue.
(Note: This is the second time I got logged out while writing a reply...WJKEOAMEOFHA!!!!!!!!!*angry*)
I like to see Sabrina getting married, too *coughcough*, but not to a character like this Robin. That's the difference. ^^
XD! Nice reference, but it wasn't what I was thinking about when I named her. Hint- Browse bulbapedia's entry for Sabrina carefully, then you might find about Morgan. And if you browse that name, you might find out about Percy as well.
Time jumps are a nice author's device, aren't they? XD Yes, I'll admit that I abused this device here for the first time a bit, but I didn't want to describe eighteen years (it IS a short story, after all). But everybody's free to write about the years inbetween, after asking me, of course...
Yes, I'm also satisfied with this short story which was supposed to be a one-shot at first, too... Guess my one-shots will never stay that way.
*gives two cookies* Right! ^^ 'Draco' is the Latin word for dragon.
*rofls at the last statement*XD!
Agatha coming back was one thing I didn't expect for sure. (Even in my story, she has retired for good.)
"But in that case, I'll fill the other Elite Four spot with my choice: Joe!"
*shakes head* That's typical Giselle.
The scene with Silver and Janine was really cute- in a non-romantical way.
"Everyone has to be invited," Sabrina said. "Everyone!"
o,o Last time someone wrote that on an invitation card, literally everyone did come. So I would be a bit more careful. But I'll come anyway. *packs bags*
"It's going to be Silver and Jasmine,"
Awww...that's going to be sweet, too! Of course, I didn want to be maid of honour, too, but what can a hacked mutant Pokemon expect? XD
"Ooh, I'll go tell them now!" Liza exclaimed.
"No, Liza, wait-" Will said, but it was too late. Liza was already out the door,
XD! *glomps Liza, after catching her*
"She might overload with energy."
Kinda like me after I saw the update. *explodes with happiness*
it shall be renamed Mahogany-3, in remembrance of its two former destructions."
Several audience members thought they had heard of some other city being named similarly,
o,o Did I miss something? I can't remember any city being named like that...
And in a couple of weeks, the fun begins… Will telepathically told Sabrina.
*grins evilly* What kind of fun, dear Will?
It was only a matter of two weeks, though, before they would all meet once more… at Sabrina and Will's wedding.
^___________________________________^ *continues to pack bags and drags Zammy behind her*
Morgane is Sabrina's French name... I get that now. Percy... I can't get that one. But at least I was able to figure out that (with your help, of course).
Mahogany-3 is a reference to the city Tokyo-3 in the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion... as was a quote by one of the characters a couple chapters ago, "What are you, stupid?" Yeah, I guess I'm sort of breaking the fourth wall with that, oh well. But anyway, don't worry if you don't get those...
Anyway, yes, the wedding of Will and Sabrina is up next. The Hoenn characters will get brought back for this, and pretty much everyone's lives will be updated by their coming together for this gigantic wedding. I'll make sure to make it nice and big, as it will be the next-to-last chapter. Only it and the epilogue remain.
*gives cookie* I have too many of these...XD And Percy...well, short form of Percival, which is a knight in Arthur's *insert English word here...*. ^^;;; And if you ever read MZB's "Mists of Avalon", you'll know how Morgaine [Morgane in other versions] and Arthur are connected...
Yes, I love making these naming games...
Oh, okay. I've never seen/read NGE, so I suppose I wasn't able to get it anyway...
Hoenn characters? TATE!!!! *hugs him* I missed him! ^_^ What about Shirona/Cynthia? (And Lucian...okay, I'll admit that I only want him to appear because he's also psychic...but then again, anime Anabell should also appear...><;;;;)
I don't think that much can happen in two weeks, but we'll see...
I'm actually a bit sad...only one chapter and the epilogue...please make it a biiiiiiig epilogue! XD
