    Greetings, my name is Dark Weezing. A 23 year old college student living in the USA trying to imbue common sense in a chaotic world.

    I just observed this website last night on my hunt for Pokemon music and I was intrigued, despite the fact I am...quite iffy with the Pokemon fandom (and I have my reasons, with the Wizards Pokegym as my main example. I see yoshi1001 on here. Good egg, for the most part) on the whole. I have been a Pokemaniac since 98, just been full out showing it in 01, and devil may care.

    I played the TCG for 00-05. The Nintendo rulings have been insane and the mechanics are shot, so I walked away. I've been in Origins 03, and 04. If that matters. Twas a pity, for I loved the game and climbed me out of some personal pits. That's the way it goes.

    I have more of a Rockemaniac if anything and I try my best to be well versed in the Rockets. Both international and domestic.

    I admit I am more into the English version because of preference and simplicity in terms but I am quite versed in the Japanese. I don't really have a favorite.

    My interests at the moment:

    Yu-Gi-Oh! (anime, no TCG)

    Enterprise
    Law & Order (all but mostly original)
    60's sci fi shows: (Ultraman, Lost in Space, Star Trek, Time Tunnel)
    Kolchak the Night Stalker (original and amazed the remake isn't horrible)

    Personal interests: schoolwork, writing, taping, obsessing over the works of Sam Waterston, Juliana Hatfield, and the pair The Murmurs. Just thinking, and romping in the fens and spinneys. When the twilight bathed in the hedgerows like a lambent flame. What? I do.

    Music Prefer: Female rock mostly. The Murmurs, Liz Phair, Juilana Hatfield, M2M, Nina Gordon, Tia, Lillix, Lisa Loeb, and the occasional score.

    I'm a writer and I have become a force on the Teen Titans scene but also written several Pokemon pieces, being the first to be doing in character of Pokemon Special's Giovanni/Sabrina. Blackjack Gabbiani's story notwithstanding. And recently did a spectulation piece of Team Aqua, prior to the Groudon/Kyorge showdown.

    I'm becoming something of a script doctor lately. To the budding writers (or anyone really) who may need assistance, please don't hestitate to come to me. I'll make time, no matter what. I'll help you with your story or anything else you may need. Don't be shy.

    And it doesn't need to be shop. My door is always open.

    That's about it. I am an intellectual, and I'm glad to lend my talents to this oddly quirky series. If anyone wishes to listen to my insane musings (yes, quite insane). But at the end of the day, I'm not a fanboy. Do remember that.

    Yes, I do write lengthy, I must warn (you should read my Teen Titans episode reviews), although lately I have been writing short fiction within the past three months. No, I don't get it either.

    I am no stranger to boards, I was on the Pokegym before it moved, and the first Robin/Raven (Teen Titans) message board (for disclosure purposes, I am admin), and here, seems easy enough.

    So three so far. Technically four if you count Livejournal. I'm mostly on the R/R comm there. So yeah, some experience. Plus common sense. Something I have ample supply of.

    And duly noted, I will take you up on your offer one of these days, dark espeon.

    You're a Titan fan eh? You should see my insane pairings for Titans and...everything else. Heheh. My creativity runneth over.

    I'm not unfamiliar with the PC, just cautious, and Origins made me cynical (but then I met these people face to face, I got stories), but eh, life goes on, yeah?

    Just been a while since I was in it at some point but then...getting fandoms are easy. Staying in them, there is the trick, grasshopper.

    Edit: Oh really, CharMz? I'll need some sort of bribe. Shifty eyes.
     
    Greetings Tetsuya-san, yes, I find the fact people liked the fact my "extensive vocab" ironic, considering I got scorn in grade/high school because of it. Irony. Heh. But yes, I'm an intellectual, but...I'm not governed by my head, no. I've seen that a lot in the past few months, years, yeah, don't want that.

    Fanfiction of the Month eh? I find that amusing considering the majority of my Pokemon fics have been ignored on FF.Net. But doesn't mean I'm giving up either. Winks.

    Reminds me, need to write a new Giovanni/Sabrina. Hmm...

    First place of Law and Order characters, got to be Jack McCoy, played wonderfully by Sam Waterston. Sam's grace and dignity, fueled by his passion for the job outacts, outdoes, out anything any pretty boy (like say, Orlando Bloom) this current genernation has to offer.

    That being said, I quite appreciate the character's drive to have "justice for the dead, respect for the living." and a lovely personal life that we want to see more and more.

    But I do appreciate the quiet dignity and hidden indignations Michael Moriarity possessed in Ben Stone. Then you get into Jack's loudness, it's a nice compare/contrast. I'd place him third place.

    Second was Jack's best foil, Abbie Carmichael. A wonderful impulse to Jack's cautious side, they have mighty strong banter as she chides like a schoolgirl and it's one of my favorite pairings.

    4th has to be Chris Noth, as Mike Logan, that strong ladies' man, and seeing him back in full after a decade of his departure makes me well...squee like a fangirl.

    Rounding out as fifth is Jerry Orbach's Lennie, it wasn't until his departure that made me realize how impactful he was with his deadpans. He will be truly missed.

    About the main cast change, with Jerry out of the picture, Sam is leading the show now more than ever. He's the heart and soul of the show and if he leaves (I was deeply worried about the season premiere about "if you want to fire me...", and I am not quite ready to let go of him. Not yet.), the series will be hollow. More so because it's a double whammy with Jerry and Sam gone as the main male leads. Jesse Martin's Ed Green was a wonderful lead to Lennie and doing nicely by himself but...he's not a lead.

    So there you go. Hee. I am overelaborate, I know.

    I'm observant, when I choose to be. Hah. Just with real life, I'm rather oblivious. Sometimes.

    Lastly, I rather don't care (well, a burning hate) for Ash, does this mean you'll respect me in the morning? Winks. In reference to your sig. Hee.

    Hunk, I may take you up on your Titans Club. I died with the season premiere.

    Now, I was able to read your entire presentation. And wow, older people are really better posters. If I have permission, may I introduce myself.

    My username is Deviruchi, but nicknames are all fluent, so you can call me Devi, Casty, Castle, Cast or whatever they call me. Or by a short of my real name, Gian. Anyway, Im one of those unfunny egohaters that, actually, do pretty well in annoying people and being nonsense stupids. Some people call me "hey gurl ur hot wunt to tlk??//? im s8r lolz" but, pardon me for the shouting, IM NOT A GIRL! SCREW MY AVATAR AND BANNER!

    Decided to say hi to some new people. I do that once in a while because I remember how nice so many people were to me as well. ^-^ Besides, I'm Light_Azumarill, and you're Dark Wheezing; it's like a sign or something! Besides, I love the Rocket cards from the TCG. I practically had a heart attack when I opened a Booster pack a long while back with a holofoil "Here Comes Team Rocket" on the top!

    Wow, you're almost as verbose (I think that's the word) as my friend from high school. And she's pretty bad. Though, not bad in a bad way, more like bad as in bad for people who don't like to read a lot.

    Hey, I like Yugioh (the -'s are too annoying for me to type), Enterprise, Star Trek (well, I hope so if I watch Enterprise -_-), and Pokemon, of course, too! Though, I haven't watched Enterprise in a while; and I feel kinda guilty about it.

    My Mom is in love with the original Law and Orders though. She's been watching them lately every night! So I've actually gotten to see many of them. ^-^

    Anyway, before I start to ramble on, have fun around here! And don't get addicted to too many RPGs. Your free time will dwindle like sand in the top half of an hourglass.

    Welcome to the Pok?community Dark Weezing, and I hope that you enjoy your stay. We really need more people like you around here. I'm Alter Ego, just Alter or AE for short or if you feel like being a smart-alec (Like certain friends of mine *Points discreetly at Light Azumarill), then you can just call me Ego. And since you write fanfics, will you be commenting on the writings of others as well? I've been thinking of writing one of my own for some time now (can't seem to find the time though), and it would be great to get some constructive critcism on my writing as I'm always interested in improving. Oh, and I can be a little (well, maybe a bit more than a little) crude at times, so please don't take all of the things I say litelarily (I have the distinct impression that I spelled that wrong). At times I tend to type faster than I think, I'm sure you'll be observant enough to tell when.

    Oh, and it's true what LA here says about RPing. I happen to be a victim of it myself, not that I mind too much but it really does make time fly, for both good and bad.

    *Looks at his own post* Hmm...you're already rubbing off on me, I rarely write that long unless it's in an RP or the like, and certainly not when welcoming people. Well, enjoy your stay.

    Almost verbose? Oh, I can give someone a run for the money. Either that or I'm not trying hard enough. Shifty eyes. I'd gladly talk about Law and Order (with three plus liking it, I should make a thread), Yugioh (Quite the Joey fan) or anything with you. And God willing, I'll fanboy. Hehe.

    Alter Ego, yes, it's a nice place, and thankfully the card players will give me a better reception (had quite the cold shoulder at Wizards' PokeGym), if not, I got the anime/manga forums to keep me happy. Or sufficiently amused.

    I haven't reviewed in a year, but I did do 500 reviews on FF.Net before I got extra busy with school. And I am about the effort, as long as your effort is there, then I don't care for the fine results, too many teachers pulled that on me. Nah, I don't mind, I'll spare some time for you, PM/email about your stories and all that.

    And yes, text is confusing and I try to avoid that by being as clear as possible. Or at give you a chance to explain further.

    I did dabble in RPG because my friends made me play and it was fun so I wouldn't mind doing it again. But yeah, not my thing.

    And looks before I write eh? I just accidently wrote a long post in the Most complex Pokemon thread in the Anime section and didn't realize the prior postmaker gravedug. I forgot the date of the prior posts, whoops. Doesn't happen that much (one out of ten) but a thousand apologies to the Mod who locked that, didn't mean to do that.

    But yeah, all this and I hate Satoshi/Ash. He gets a thrill shocking them Rockets, so am I supposed to like him for that? I have empathy here. Nope, sorry.

    Lastly, don't worry about crude, I treat everyone equal. But a little enlightenment doesn't hurt. Winks.
