    Hello, I'm SoleilSuicune. You can call me Sol (pronounced like Soul), if you'd like.
    I've been a HUGE fan of Pokemon ever since I was a tiny young pup. Before I could read, I would take my sister's Pokemon Red and get into battles. I started learning to read very early, so I could tell what the characters and moves were.
    I'm still sort of a young pup, compared to the rest of the lot, but I'm old enough.
    So, what do I do in this beautiful fanbase?
    Well... That's a long list. I draw and write Pokemon related stuff. (Used to be into fanfiction, but not anymore. Don't know why.) I'm trying to worm into competitive battling in the OU, but... Let's just underline the word 'trying'.
    I also do hacks. Oh, boy, do I do hacks. I can't post links quite yet, but I certainly will let you guys get a sneak peek at my independent hack when I'm allowed. Sure, I've only really finished the title screen... But it's something!
    Outside of mons, I do creative work, watch anime, play even more games, lounge around, procrastinate... Pretty much anything a geek would do.
    So, yeah. Talk to me, I want to know about you guys!
     
    Welcome :), nice Latin intro! You've come to the right place for pokemon! I'm sure your love it here and your work will be well received. Good luck with your hack, can't wait to learn more about it! IF you need help with them lots of users on here can offer advice and tips.
     
    Awesome to see more longtime Pokemon fans around! You can never have too many of them because the more the merrier, but anyways welcome aboard Sol!

    I'm still into the franchise at age 22 and in fact I enjoy Pokemon even more now than I was when I was younger, mainly due to how interesting the changes to the franchise have been lately. ROM Hacks are very popular here so you'll definitely be in love with our ROM Hacking section, with areas like the Beginner's Lounge, Hacks Studio and there's also really great tools you can use in your own creations. Aside from that, there's loads of other sections you can visit so consider exploring and see what interests you.

    Good luck with your hack and hopefully you'll be prepared for the year ahead given 2015 is just around the corner. Don't hesitate to contact a staff member if you need their help!

    You sure do seem involved in Pokemon, which really is amazing to see. :) I also dabble in Pokemon fanart and stories as well as watch the anime, play the games, collect the merch and other things. So of course you'll fit nicely in among all the big fans we have around here!

    Battling's a pain in the butt hah. You'll get plenty of tips in our battling forum as we tend to have a lot of knowledgeable regulars here.. too bad I'm not one of them. xD;; OU is tough so you're in for a ride! Much luck.

    That said, have a splendid time on PokeCommunity and if you need anything don't feel scared to poke the staff members. We're always around to lend a hand! Truly do hope you'll love this place as much as we do!

    Yeah, a user said hacking was a big thing around here, I'm excited to get into that community!

    Yeah, I've played 'em all. It is interesting to see how Pokemon and it's fanbase have changed. Pokemon's general audience is getting older and older, and the games seem to be reflecting that, with content and stuff that keeps teens/adults interested and invested, and stuff to help out with metagame training. Which is fun!
    Wow, I didn't know hacking was such a big thing here! I gotta check that out! Thanks!

    You can never be to nerdy xD. And yes the hack showcase has plenty of hacks already and is rapidly expanding.
