3rd update on Sapphire:

• Beat Norman pretty easily, then Surfed to Slateport.
• Went back up to Mauville and did the New Mauville quest for the Thunderbolt TM.
• Upon my return, I checked my happiness in Verdanturf, and with delight saw that Sage and Floater were at max happiness, so I could evolve them!
• Taught Thunderbolt to Sage, and she evolved into Kirlia and then Gardevoir (she was at L33, lol).
• Floater then evolved into Vibrava at L35 (normal evolution, yay).
• Taught Light Ice Beam, and he evolved into Swampert and the way up to Fortree.
• Beat Winona easily with Light, then headed to Lilycove.
• Caught Frankie the Heracross in the Safari Zone, and Firefox the Vulpix on Mt. Pyre.
• Beat the Grunts and the Hideout, then Surfed to Mossdeep.
• Trained around Moss deep a bit, then took on the gym.
• Tate and Liza went down easily, and I saved on the beach.

Update 2:

That be my current team and status. It's actually kind of weird that I'd have most my Pokemon be at level 50 before even having the 8th gym badge. I mean, in my own copy of Emerald all my Pokemon are level 50 for Frontier purposes, meaning they were in their 40s upon beating the E4 ^^; I guess it's 'cause I've been trying to get my Pokemon to max happiness, so I've been battling not only for Exp. so they could become happy leveling up but to get money to buy steroids stat-enhancing items, which also makes them happy.

Also, this is my box, currently:

As you can see, I have 4/7 of the required legendaries needed in order to complete the challenge. Also, regarding Wailord...

It's as rare as Chansey in the part you can find it, but it was a lot easier than catching a Wailmer and getting it to max happiness.

/all this done and I haven't even entered Sootopolis's gym...

Overall, I must say I am having fun with this challenge :3 The most fun part will be searching for Latios (which I have decided on finding), but hey. If I could find a Wailord in the wild then finding Latios will be a breeze!

Uhhh yeah, Shadow Pokemon can't have TM moves. D: I thought I had that in the rules? -goes to edit- Sorry about that. But yeah, Shadow Pokemon in Colo/XD can't learn TMs so it wouldn't be fair to let the RSE players let theirs learn TMs either. RSE players already have a big advantage over Colo/XD players in that they can purify their teams.

4th and final update on Sapphire:

• Beat Archie underwater, caught Kyogre (Net Ball ftw!), and beat Wallace easily with Sage (Calm Mind/Thunderbolt).
• I caught Relicanth and Wailord (took a long time to find it) and opened the Sealed Chamber, then headed to Victory Road.
• Made it through, then took on the Elite Four.
• Sidney was destroyed by Frankie (Bulk Up/Brick Break).
• Phoebe was taken out by Floater (Crunch), Firefox (Confuse Ray/Fire Blast), and Light (Surf).
• Glacia fell to Fire Fox (Confuse Ray/Iron Tail) and Sage (Thunderbolt/Psychic).
• Drake was soloed by Light (Ice Beam), barely.
• As for Steven, Skarmory and Cradily fell to Sage (Thunderbolt/Psychic), Metagross went down to Firefox thanks to Fire Blast burning it, Floater took out Claydol (Crunch), and Aggron and Armaldo were Bulk Up/Brick Breaked into oblivion by Frankie for the win.
• After I landed at home, I bought a bunch of Ultra Balls, then caught Latias with the Master Ball in the desert when I was headed to Regirock!
• Regirock took a while to catch, Registeel took FOREVER, Reice was the easiest Regi to catch.
• Then I headed to the Sky Pillar and fell down the holes a million times before finally getting to the top, where Rayquaza was finally captured! He was the fastest one to catch (besides Latias), but he took out four members of my team.
