Scenario VI - gyms or contests?

Contests. I think it gives you more ways to engage with your Pokemon in the long run, after 8 gym badges you're pretty much done. I really wish there were games outside of the core series that were about the world of the Pokemon coordinator.
 
What are contests? Oh, it's that one thing that was followed by three other things.
