    • Contests. I think it gives you more ways to engage with your Pokemon in the long run, after 8 gym badges you're pretty much done. I really wish there were games outside of the core series that were about the world of the Pokemon coordinator.

    Battle all the way
    i know people like contests but i can never beat them
    the gyms are easier because it is straight forwards
