School chit-chat 2

In Biology we are still disecting pigs. We are on our third week disecting pigs too. It's not fun. We have to disect pretty much everything too. Today we did the heart. Luckily I will be out of school and into summer vacation in five weeks. ^_^
 
I'm taking Physics this year, we're doing Quantum Mechanics right now, what's with all the talk about it? o_o; *looks* Oh... frosty has a test...n_n; Physics isn't my greatest point, but maybe I could help?

Ok... a test on Optics (no pun please) regarding light reflection, light refraction, convex/concave lens and convex/concave mirrors. It is absolutely crazy... *still hasn't start studying yet but FINALLY finished the lab for good*
 
Hmm, I took that physics course before but I forgot everything, I was of no help to my sister either. xp

ahem... I doubt if she'll need any help scoring honour rolls in OSA last year doing full IB... unlike me who's dying with just partial IB and failed to get honour rolls (or maybe I'll still get it with luck like a 80 or 81...). Btw Mr. Fahlman was looking for her about her IB Orals lately if she doesn't know about it yet ^_^;

True, my sister doesn't need my help for getting honors at all, but she did ask to give her some physics stuff before.... Ahaha, she helped me with my chemistry today btw. :P
 
I couldn't take Physics next year even if I wanted. That's because we need to have completed Algebra 2 before we can take Physics, but I'm taking Integrated Math instead. So, next year for 11th grade I'm taking Chemistry. Neither class looks that great to me.
 
... as if there is a class in the world that is great in school? =/

All the sciences have ugly ugly labs to do... Biology labs do not have graphs but you need to draw those magnification picture, and all thsoe formulas for calculating the magnification is insane (forgot it already... even though we "should" know it for the rest of our lives in OSA). Chemistry... I just don't understand it and period. It seems so easy as it's just math people say, but then for some reason I just can't do it =/. Physics... I lacked common sense to understand this "it's nothing but common sense." It just doesn't make sense.

All 3 science = equally as bad... or maybe that's just me =/
 
Yeah all science is pretty bad! Last year I had to take ICP (intro to chemistry and physics) and it was so hard! I'm taking chem next year so hopefully everything has sunk in by now. Chemistry isn't all math... but a lot of it is. Balancing chemical equations confused me so much! I had a lab to do on that and I was so confused that it took me a month to finish it! Turns out I was originally doing it all wrong and that was why I was confused. The first half of last year was all physics... and now I'm scared to take it as a senior! It was so confusing even if it was all math. I somehow managed to pass that class... but just barely! But this year I take biology... and we don't do anything! Like today for example... we had to take a quiz on the respiratory and digestive systems. It was a 15 question quiz... but it was open note! All the answers were in our notes that we just copied off the board anyway! Then we got to goof around a play battleship on the smart board for the rest of the period... I'm glad I didn't take AP bio though... that class seems really hard.
 
Today we didn't disect pigs in Biology. :P Soon we will be doing our final disecting with the pigs too. We will be doing brain surgery. I'm not sure how that will end up. :P Also, today is the second day in a row for me where I don't have any homework. :P
 
I've been getting close to no homework for a long while now. It's probably just the calm before the storm, though, since all the final projects and stuff for the end of the courses should be coming up soon.

I have sort of a big project due tomorrow that I have yet to start, though. x.o;;

Yeah teachers tend to cramp and procrasinate as well... they don't give you too much stuff to do until it's drawing close to report cards. Then they'll realize "Oh I need more marks! Need to give more projects and tests!" So you see... students aren't the only one who procrasinate afterall ^_^;

And Lightning... may want to get off asap to get working on your project now? ^_^;
 
=P Yeah, I got on with the intention of working, but now... bleh. PC is far too addicting. Besides... it's just drawing and stuff. x.o; Then gluing onto bristol board, lol. I know that if I get off the computer, the most productive thing I'll end up doing is watching the Leaf's game anyway. =\

My french teacher is nothing like that. She takes down an average of 3 seperate marks per class. You know, for different activities and work pages. She'll ask what we got on them and record it. @_@; That's really what's saving my mark from dropping drastically... we've got about 40 entries for our average and one of mine is a 0 (don't ask >\). But... since everything else is extremely high, the 0 only brings my mark down by about 3%. ^^; Although, not to be too greedy or anything, but I'd far rather be getting my rightful 98% instead of my 95%, which would be the top in my grade. XD
 
I got dumped by my girlfriend yesterday. I'm finda hurt but I wanna find another soon. I'll look weak. -_-
 
Aww... =( Hope you'll get over it.
As for me... Today, I was in a foul mood during PE, cause we played a stupid game called rugball (sp?) (No offence) A girl just shouted at me just cause I can't run, and they made fun of a girl. I was kinda angry. o_o;
