Screen Resolution

How do you change your screen resolution? I have 800 x somehting else but i wanna make it bigger. How do i do that. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Im stupid. If it is, shott me in the head, liek this --> :dead:

Thanks, But now i have decided to keep it 800 x 600, i cant read it other wise :p

I prefer, when possible 1600x1200, it?s ideal for the business(wo)man reading professional documents. Hmm. Oh well, at least I?m not like someone who didn?t even know she could change her resolution for a long time? *ahem* >_>

On this widescreen I have to use 1280x768 though. ^_^;;

I find the writing on that is far to small! Maybe if i got used to it...but i think 800 x 600 is fine for me :p

Naw. 1024?768 is best XD

Unless you have less than or more than 15" in your monitor.

mine is on 800x witch is what it should be on. I don't know how u cold use it smaller.

I think 1024x768 is the best resolution for me. It's just right and it isn't massively huge like 800x600. It's just clear-cut and neat. 800x600 boggles me because everything's bigger than I would expect it to be; and, it messes me up so much, lol. O_o

Well I need my monitor to do 85hz.
And I can't do 85hz at 1600x1200.
So I do the next best thing, which for me I found long ago to be 1400x1050.

I?ve sadly never owned a monitor that can do either of those resolutions, I just play with the ones at computer stores. *sigh* And wow, if I wanted to I could seriously screw up their computers, they leave them so wide open. I even got on PC (not logged in of course) at a few of em. XP

Well, I am currently on 1024X768 at True Color at 100 hz. ^_^

It looks BIG like 800X600 on a 15 inch because I am using a 19 inch. ^_^

Well its not as big as 640x400 ...thats too big for me...

I've adjusted it a few times for programs that require it, but uh otherwise I just keep it.. on the default. I suppose if you got used to 1024x768, then 800x600 would seem bIg, but well, us 800x600ers think 1024x768 is small, so dfjkndkj I dunno...

lol *is probably the only odd ball resolution user here*

I use 1152x864 res on 32-bit color depth.. at a refresh rate of 85Hz (and sometimes 100Hz, depending on what I'm doing =P.)
I WOULD use 1600x1200 or even 1792x1344 at 85Hz (and I can) but doing so would not only make text somewhat hard to read but my wallpapers will look out of focus or stretched out. I gotta keep the Desktop looking spiffy at all times XD.

I kinda like 1200 x 800, its working nicly for me. I think ill keep it. Although i have to re adjust the size of the neopets screen =P

I have 800x600, my screen is 15" CRT so 640x480 is too aliased and 1024x768 is too small. o_O

I don't understand how you guys can run at 800x600..
I'd go mad trying to find places to put open windows.

I minimaize all of my windows :p ANd yes, 1200 x 800 is def staying! Tsi amazing!
