I recently got a Deerling on wonder trade, and discovered that you could only get spring Deerling and Sawsbuck on XY. Should ASOR get seasons in order to change their forms?

Also, i just realized something... It would be the first time Hoenn ever gets to see the night! That's... weird.

The lack of seasons in XY was hardly noticeable given the various biomes and climates within Kalos. Hoenn is a very diverse place as well so perhaps Deerling and other climate affected families (are there any more?) will simply change depending on the area of Hoenn they're in. For instance, the autumn forme near Fallarbor, summer near Mt. Chimney, winter near Mossdeep, and spring near... I don't know, Fortree, haha. There's not a lot of different climates in Hoenn, but it's a very natural place so perhaps with the increase in visuals there will be a noticeable advancement in weathers/temperatures/seasons, etc.

Yeah, I doubt whether the seasons would make a big difference. Deerling would probably be season locked in the games, because there isn't much they could do to change tropical seasons. Either that or Deerling needs a new 'rain' forme.

I don't think seasons will have much of an impact in Hoenn. But seeing it at night will be a rare treat.
