5th Gen September CoroCoro Revealed / Pokemon Sunday!

Since they're basically remaking some Pokemon and starting over..what if no older Pokemon will ever get evolutions now? O.o That would be kind of..bad..:(
 
Awesome. I really like the plant thingy (That's exclusive to Pokemon White D: ), it looks cool.

I also like the Electric spider, the chin horn pokemon, tabunne, and that sick lookin deer. (except the summer and fall forms suck)

I really don't think the supposedly tauros evo looks bad. I never really liked tauros anyway, but they make it look like a buffalo, which is what I want. Tauros reminds me of a buffalo.

I think that this generation starts from scratch, so I'm not expecting new evos from older pokemon. At least not untill 6th generation, who knows what they are going to do for that.

And in my other posts, I completely disapprove of this if it is the supposed truth.

I wanted Tauros to get an evo. I wanted Lapras to get something. But nooooooooo, this region has to be far far away.. where Pikachus don't exist(in a Pokemon-game region?! Wha? I know) and nobody knows the legend of Mew, and some other examples, I could name 428.
Not likely, at all.

Uhhh... Maybe it's just for Isshu. It IS based off of a far away place, so it makes sense that there's completely original Pokemon. In the next generation (if there is one), it might not be as far away as Isshu, so maybe there's still hope...? Because seriously, Dunsparce NEEDS an evolution before the Pokemon series ends. 3:<

i mean they still have like what 3 untouched regions there?

i mean geez and all the Pokemon in the Pokemon World live Simultaneously
so in a way NO Pokemon EVER is a copy of one another (minus Mewtwo of course xDD)

but anyway i like EVERY SINGLE Pokemon revealed ='DD yes even that mushroom
and Pokabu's Evo... i've actually come to accept the Typings of Pokabu's Evos =)

What???? If Lapras got an evo it would be a beast. It might be NU, but its BST is 535, if it got an evo it would probably have Pseduo-Legened stats. Buffuron is suspected to be a tauros evo btw.

I would imagine that the next gen will build from whatever area Isshu is in, as well as (pre)evolutions from the Isshu dex. That being said though, it' doesn't necessarily mean we'll never see any evolutions for 1-4th gen Pokemon. I agree that Dunsparce needs an evo at some point.


As for the CoroCoro leaks, I love all these except Tabunne... it looks so awkward. :/ I'm absolutely in love with the Ghost type Pokemon though, and it's ability. It's going to rock my socks off.

Zomg, I thought I was the only one who thought that! Tabunne is in no way cute. NOT AT ALL. Its body looks all... distorted. It's trying SO hard to be cute with that pose, but it's not working... LOL. Also I hope Desukan (the Ghost type) will be Ghost/Ground. But mostly because it's Egyptian based, and of course in Egypt... there's a lot of sand. x3

And Buffuron can't be Tauros evo.. they already said none of those will exist. Buffuron is just New York City's version of Tauros.

I know, I think it's odd too.

Exactly. They tried to make it cute, kind of like a Clefairy I imagine. They failed pretty badly with it though. I'm not quite sure what it is that bothers me about it, but it just feels awkward. And Desukan, I wouldn't mind Ghost/Ground. I'm just happy to see a Ghost type hehe.

that was a rumor, and Manambou and Buffuron are BLATANT evolutions of the two, I mean come on, they will prob. just be Nat'l dex. And please don't call it NYC, its still called Isshu even if its based on the NYC. And I would love a Lapras family as well tbh, but you have to think realistically.
 
Serebii mentioned Zekrom and Reshiram's signature moves, which are Cross Thunder (Zekrom) and Cross Flame (Reshiram), both from CoroCoro. Here's a quote I don't quite fully understand yet:

"If you use one after the other one has been used, the power of each move is increased and it is used automatically".

"If you use one after the other..." gives me the impression that is you use that particular move twice, it's powered up from the second use onward?

Perhaps someone could explain or emphasize this a bit more, I only truly have an idea of what they are referring to.

I think it means
If you use the skill once you have to use it again but the second time it will be stronger.

Well they still said they're not evo's. And it pissed me off as well.

There are no evolutions or pre-evolutions of existing Pokemon in this generation, meaning Mamanbou is not Luvdisc's evolution (tragic!). This is the first generation without any Pokemon ties to previous generations.

Mamanbou is probably Luvdiscs evo. Yes they are remaking a gen 1 but there will be evos that won't make in game appearances until after the E4
