HERE MY GUY~!
Kaliff Leslie
Nickname- Neal
Male
19

Appearance-

6ft, athletic build.
Eyes: Jade Green
Skin, Light Tan
Light brown hair on top, dark brown on bottom. He has long sideburns and a goatee.
Black and Sliver gauges in both ears with a stud under his lip.
Tattoos: Retro designs, starting from his shoulder to his elbow on the right arm. On the left arm is a series of black strips that lead down to his wrist. On his back is a pair of wings.
He wears a small Black and Red cotton shirt to show off his built arms. On the sleeves are strings to pull them tight or let loose. He pants are baggy but always stay in the same spot. His black studded belt is for only keeping his Pokeballs. He has a chain the swoops down and led to his back pocket, where he keeps his wallet. Last are his shoes that are black and white converse style sneakers. Around his neck is a red beaded necklace and he wears several black rings around his fingers.

Personality-
Good Nature
Kaliff is your all around kind of guy. The one you don't get to know if you don't talk to him. Sometimes he comes off as a prick but this is not the case with him. He doesn't believe in talking people down, unless they need to be put in their place. He hates to argue unless it's the silly playful type. He doesn't judge and let people speak for themselves.
Outgoing
Kaliff isn't just another stoner who lay's around. he like to put it to good use. He vey athletic and loves to exercise a lot. Loves to free run whenever he get the chance. He loves to stay active when there is nothing else to do. So he is usually always on the move.
Book Nerd.
Well Kaliff is far from a book Nerd, but he is very interested in finding out how things work. His grades where in the top 10 of his school, but you wouldn't know by looking at him. He has great insight on Pokémon moves and how to combine them into never before seen ones. Well in theory at least. He likes to read up on tactic skills to help him in battle. He loves puzzles but this is not one of his favorite passions.
Dreamer
Kaliff is quite the dreamer. Every since he was little he could feel the push and the pull of the moon. He would always know if there was a full moon or not, without having to look in the sky. When it is a perfect end to a nice day, Kaliff loves to sit in the grass under the night sky and look at the stars. Wishing he could rest among the clouds. He always felt that there was something more out there them what he saw everyday on earth. He believes with all his heart that he's not human, yet nothing has came about to prove it.
Head Strong
Kaliff know what he want in life and goes for it. Yet doubt will only come in to play when he is confused or doesn't have all the right information. He is cut throat about his friends and Pokémon. And will take down anyone who mistreats them.
Hobbies
Besides playing the guitar, Kaliff also like to skateboard when he get the chance to. He is skilled at drawing and photography. When he isn't doing any of that he like to go surfing.
Laid Back
When his go get them attitude doesn't call for it, Kaliff is very laid back. He enjoys a good laugh and love to joke around with his friends. People say he has two different personalities, One who likes to go balls deep in battle, and one who drifts and adapts to life without much say so.

History- Kaliff grew up on Mandarin Island located in the Orange Islands. There he lived with both his parents, Mica and Nathan Leslie; along with his younger brother and sister who was twins named Grace and Gale. Life wasn't hard for Kaliff his family was wealthy and his parents always wanted the best for their kids. In doing so they sent Kaliff to a private Pokémon academy called PokeThec when he was 12. There he spent his time learning about Pokémon and battle moves. It wasn't until his second year he told people to call him Neal. This was because people always missed heard him and called him Caleb instead of Kaliff. During his time at school, Neal became popular for his good looks and skill in battle simulations. So girls would always be tailing around him. He never minded the attention but he made it clear to them that he didn't like girls. The guys on the other hand loved his battle spirited and voted him Prime Tactics Master his last five years there. This was the title given to a student who won every battle in and battle simulation dome. Despite this, Neal never got the chance to raise his own Pokémon. It was always just books and theories in class. He knew that in real life Pokémon could reach full potential and not just be limited to computer stats. So it didn't sit too well with him.
His mother worked at the local Pokémon clinic helping sick Pokémon, so she was gone most of the time. His father worked for a corporation the design and test new pokeballs. He was usually late every night are stay over to do research at the lab. Even with his parents being gone he still loved them along with his younger siblings. So when his parents were out he always made sure that he would spend time with them.
After he graduated in the top 10 when he was 18, Neal took a trip to Jhoto with his friends. There they spent the year traveling around seeing the cities and taking in different cultures. And this is where he found his 1st pokemon.
Starting Town: Goldenrod City

Pokémon Info:

Breed: Scyther (Navy blue and gray)

Nickname: Rio (Has a battle spirit and will battle just for the fun but is loyal and always listens )

Gender: Male

Moves: Swords Dance, Air Slash, Razor wind, Pursuit

RP SAMPLE~My orders he wondered. Nova was fighting just fine without any command from him at all. Novas brutal and feisty battle style shocked all of them. Was this his true nature or just a result of the berries he had eaten earlier, nevertheless Rioji loved it. But even with the Buizel being just a level higher, Nova matched her strength and speed. Rioji thought for a sec.

"Nova, use the first half of your Fakeout to boost your speed." He knew that Fakeout was a move only effective on the first attack but he was sure that the extra speed boost would help beneath Nova in battle.

"Stay sharp and keep it up and let your claws do the talking." Rioji commanded.

Nova sprung into action, growling at her just as she did him before. The Buizel quickly spun around and fired a Sonicbomb close to the ground. However Nova saw it coming and within seconds his hind leg leaped right over. P*ssed that her plan to trip up the feline failed she launched another water gun while Nova was in med air.

"Now!" Rioji shouted just as the huge jet stream was about to make contact.

Nova vanished from sight and appeared right behind her slashing his claws deep within her left thigh. She wailed in pain retaliating with a quick smack of her tails. They sent Nova back a few feet. He shook his head dazed at the blow. She grinned at him, knowing full well she hit him in his blind spot. Nova growled once more to counter the ringing in his ear and to by him some time. The Buizel hung back for a sec then seizing the opportunity raced forward with a Quick Attack.

"Nova, dodge it!" Rioji shouted in the hopes that Nova would leap up just like before.

But luck wasn't on Nova's side as she tackles him, sending him sliding back from the force.
Nova dug his claws into the dirt to slow down his momentum and prevent him from crashing into the tree just a few feet behind him. Seeing this, the Buizel bolted forward with another Quick Attack. Unfortunately she pushed off on her left leg and buckled under the pain to the ground.

(MY TURN) Nova growled charging in while the Buizel was trying to gain her footing. Claws glowing white, going straight in for an uppercut.
WHAM!

At the last second the Buziel inflated her yellow sac to deflect the blow. But given Nova reflexes he hurled around landing a kick to her face with his hind paws saying (YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS SOME TRICKS).

Just then the two were locked in what in seemed to be an eternal grudge match. The Buizel had dropped to fighting on all four legs. Kicking and punching at Nova. Nova focused his one good eye and tried to dodge each blow as much as he could, fangs snapping at each other. One false move and Nova was caught into the grip of the Buizel. Quickly Nova took his hind legs at kicked dirt into her eyes forcing her to let go and wondered about blindly. With great haste Nova jumped onto her back and dug his claws into her shoulders.

The shriek of agony filled the air as she violently flopped about trying to get him off. Nova hung on for dear life trying not to get knock around.

Rioji not wanting this match to go on any longer pull his pokeball from his waste and aimed it at Nova. Sharp thin red beams replayed over and over like a light show, as he tried to call him back. But it was no use Nova was riding her like she was a bucking bronco in a rodeo. With one desperate flail, the Buziel hurled herself into the back of a tree causing damage to both of them. Nova was force to let go as he fell to the ground. Each one stood up panting batter and bruised, bleeding like they were mortal enemies set to kill on another. The grimace of a stare hosted on each one was too much to bear. This match had gone on long enough.

One of them was about to go down…

:
Name: Emma Kathleen Novak
Age: Seventeen
Gender: Female

Appearance: The first thing anyone notices about Emma is her eyes. They are such a piercing shade of electric blue that people who happen to catch her eye either immediately look away or get mesmerized by them. It's a trait that Emma loves. Strawberry blonde ringlets fall to the middle of her shoulders and frame her heart-shaped face nicely. A black headband holds her hair back when it gets in her way. Light freckles are sprinkled across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Emma basically has no curves whatsoever, which makes her 5' 8" tall frame seem skinny. She weighs around 117 pounds, and only has slight muscles that she received from P.E. class. Emma's skin is naturally a light tan color, but she can get extremely tan during the summer months.

Emma dresses fairly normal, as far as high school teenagers are concerned. Dark washed skinny jeans or black short shorts cover her legs. A white or black camisole is worn underneath a bright neon t-shirt, so that Emma can achieve the 'layered' look. Since Emma doesn't get cold easily, she wears short sleeved jackets [mostly silver] on most days. She'll wear long sleeved jackets in winter though. Checkered Vans or high-top Puma's are normally found on her feet [although she is rather fond of wearing yellow rain boots when it gets icky outside]. Several bangles click together on Emma's wrists while a star-shaped pendant hangs from her neck on a silver chain. To carry her stuff, Emma has called upon the use of a small Dakine backpack.

Personality: Let's just say that Emma's personality is what you might call 'electric'. She is extremely hyper and full of energy most of the time, zipping around so fast that most people can't or don't want to keep up. Spontaneous to a fault, Emma does whatever comes to mind without thoroughly thinking things through, which causes problems for both herself and the people around her. Usually happy, Emma loves to have fun and laugh with her friends. She happens to be quick to anger, but she can calm down just as fast. Emma sometimes has trouble communicating or connecting with adults because she is still extremely childish, and she doesn't understand why adults do things they do or why they don't believe in fantasy things.

Emma loves Pokémon and holds them as one of the most important things about the world. She volunteered at the local Pokémon Center just so she could learn more about them. Emma is rather skilled at drawing, so she uses Pokémon as her main subjects. Her family is extremely important to her, and she would do most anything to protect them. Emma is rarely sad, so when she is, you know something is seriously wrong and upsetting her. She is easy to scare because she is utterly unaware of her surroundings. Her fears include open water, scarecrows, and caves. When frightened she will either let out a high pitched shriek and run in the opposite direction or become unable to move, frozen to the spot with fear.

History: Emma and her fraternal twin brother Ethan were born into a family that already had two sets of twins. All of these sets of twins came around because Emma's parents, Jessica and Mark Novak, used In Vitro Fertilization because Jessica could not conceive naturally. Despite being "test tube babies", all of the Novak children were raised normally [of course]. Living in a house with six children could be quite a handful for Jessica and Mark sometimes, with everyone running around and calling for them at the same time, but everything seemed to turn out okay. Plus, even though twins normally keep to themselves, all three sets of twins got along greatly for the most part. One thing that they all liked about having multiple sets of twins was that you could always have enough people to play games with.

From a young age, only Jessica seemed to take interest of Pokémon. She would ask her parents about each and every Pokémon that passed by their house and whenever battles were announced at the Violet City Gym, Emma would rush over and watch from the sidelines, completely enthralled with what was going on. She tried to get Ethan to go with her, but he was more interested in building robots. It was by chance that Emma ended up meeting a Nurse Joy at one of these matches. The pink-haired woman saw how enthusiastic Emma was about Pokémon, so she offered her a volunteer spot at the Pokémon Center. Emma immediately accepted, of course. After that, Emma began learning all about Pokémon from her new position. It was a dream job, even if she wasn't getting paid for it.

Emma's tenth birthday soon approached, but Emma would not being starting out on her Pokémon journey as planned. Jessica and Mark told Emma that they were concerned about her going off on her own, and so, Emma came to realize that her parents would be devastated if she left them. It was soon decided as a family that Emma could go out on her journey once she finished high school. Saddened, but not discouraged, Emma dutifully continued her years in public school.

Starting Town: Violet City

Pokémon Info:
Breed: Pichu
Nickname: Sparky
Gender: Female
Moves: Thundershock, Quick Attack, Double Team, Thunderbolt

Additional Information: It had been the middle of a relatively uneventful and normal day in Emma's life when she accidentally discovered Sparky. Emma had been walking home from the local high school when she heard the cries of a Pokémon coming from the forest that bordered the main road. Moving into the trees, Emma had followed the cries until she quite suddenly stumbled upon a Pichu that was hopelessly tangled up in some vines. When she moved closer to the Pichu, she was surprised to see that it was an odd color. Normal Pichu's were yellow, and this one was a sort of golden orange-ish color. Emma realized that it didn't matter what color the Pokémon was; that it just needed some help. So, Emma untangled the Pichu and the rest is history. Emma and the Pichu became friends, and later Emma captured her so they wouldn't have to be parted from each other.

• @Jamine Marie - Okay the Sign Up is good enough to be accepted, but Pikachu is technically an evolved pokemon... is Pichu okay? or do you want to change to a different pokemon?

@fire woven & Pokedream - Sorry guys but all the spots are taken. If one of the reservees doesn't complete their SU by their deadline then I will obviously re-open their spot.

• @Dragax67 - Sorry but two people have already been unable to sign up, so they will get first option for the reserved spots.

Okay and now for my post:

Dear Trainer,

I know you have a special pokémon who is in need of some help. I can offer you this help. I can offer you shelter and food. I will be waiting for you in a warehouse located in the woods surrounding Cherrygrove City and Route 29. If you are interested in receiving my help, please meet me here.

NJ

Ben looked up from the hastily scrawled note over to Charmander, who was snoozing in the corner. The note had to refer to him, how many golden, fire breathing lizards could there be in the world? After the pokémon leagues decision to round up shiny pokémon, Ben knew it was only a matter of time until his Charmander was found and taken away...

'What if this really is a chance to keep Charmander?' thought Ben re-reading the note, 'Sounds dangerous though, disobeying the law... would that make me criminal? No, no I'm well within my rights to protect my pokémon...'

Charmander rolled over in his sleep and let out a yawn, before falling silent again and slipping back into a peaceful slumber. Looking down at his golden lizard, Ben made up his mind. Sprinting up the stairs and into his room, Ben grabbed a few essentials and threw them into a bag. He only needed to get to the outskirts of town, so he could afford to travel light...

'But how am I going to hide Charmander!?!' Ben suddenly thought panicking.

Charmander couldn't be seen by anyone, or they might report him to the authorities and Charmander would be taken away. It would be easy if Charmander would go into a pokéball, but the fire type had made it clear on many occasions that wasn't an option... Ben had a burn on his arm to prove it.

In a moment of inspiration, Ben grabbed a few coats and hoodies and ran downstairs. Carefully he picked up Charmander, so as not to wake him, and wrapped him in the bundle of clothes in his hands. Although his tail was partly visible, Ben thought it would be very difficult for anyone to see what was underneath the bundle of coats.

Slinging his bag over his shoulder, Ben walked out of the front door and began walking towards the edge of town. The bundle seemed to be doing its job, with people walking past not paying Ben any attention. Ben had made it to the path leading out of town, and thought he was home free... when a voice came from behind him.

"Excuse me sir,"

Ben gulped before slowly spinning around. Before him stood a young trainer, who couldn't have been older than ten.

"Sorry I'm new at this, could you tell me where the pokémon center is please?" asked the boy.

Ben breathed a huge sigh of relief, and tried to regain his composure before answering the boys question.

"Sure kid, just follow this path into town and it's the first building on the right. It has a bright red roof, can't miss it!"

"Thanks so much," said the young boy cheerfully, before turning and heading towards the city.

As soon as the boy was out of sight, Ben immediately ran for the cover of the forest... he didn't want to have to talk to anyone else while he was holding an illegal pokémon in his arms! Having reached the forest, Ben took a few deep breaths before realising something... he had absolutely no idea where this abandoned warehouse was...

• All right, here it is:

Name: Keiku Reishu (Prefers to be called K.R.)
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Appearance: K.R. is about 5' 11" and weighs around 165 lbs, He has spiky black hair with a blue streak in the front of his hair. He has piercing green eyes and perfect white teeth. He also wears a tight black shirt with a white skull on it which stops at the first half of his top shoulder. Looking at K.R. the first thing that would come to your mind is "A no good punk." K.R. also has two silver earrings in both ears. He wears a black leather spike strap on his right wrist and is seen wearing a silver Dragonair chain on his shirt he also has a dagger tattoo on his right arm, it is sometimes commented on.

K.R wears Black Jeans with a large silver skull on the right back pocket. He has a silver chain wallet in his right pocket. The chain can be seen hanging out of his right pocket. K.R. wears black sneakers that are very durable and tough

Personality: Even though K.R. looks like a punk looking for trouble, in reality he is actually a blunt, yet kind person. He is often willing to do what's right and doesn't mind helping others out from time to time, however sometimes there can be a tinge of bitterness within him. Keiku always keeps his head straight and tries to keep calm through tough situations. K.R. believes that there is at least some good in everyone and can be naive to some extent. In the end though, he is someone anybody would be glad to have on their team.

History: K.R. was born in Celadon City and resided in Celadon park (Celadon City suburb) for about the first nine years of his life. When he turned ten, his parents decided to risk it all and go to Goldenrod City in order to try and make it big with their small radio talk show. Soon after moving to Goldenrod City, his father began to work at the Goldenrod Radio Tower and was fairly successful at first, then ratings dropped and so did his father's enthusiasm. After a while, K.R.'s father started coming home late and began to become a regular at the casinos. K.R.'s mother worked as a stylist in the underground salon and was barely supporting the family with a small salary. Soon enough, K.R.'s father left the family when Keiku was eleven and after his father, Satomi Reishu, left. Keiku eventually started going by K.R.

The departure of K.R.'s father dissapointed K.R. and devastated his mother, soon enough months went by without hearing a word from him, then about 6 months later, K.R. received a phone call from his father. He learned that his father had joined Team Rocket shortly after he left the family and was sending checks to his mother monthly. However, K.R. didn't want anything to do with the dirty money his father was receiving. As the months went by, K.R.'s father steadily climb upon the ranls and the checks sent to his mother grew larger and larger until soon, K.R. and his mother went from living in a 2 bedroom apartment to a small condo in the downtown area.

K.R.'s father became a Team Rocket Executive when K.R. was 13. Even though they weren't struggling anymore, K.R. still felt sadness and animosity in his heart over his absent father. K.R. also began to take an interest in pokemon battling and having a pokemon as a partner. So, K.R. had his mother bring home Pokemon magazines from the salon at which she worked. Then, on K.R.'s fourteenth birthday, he recieved a pokeball in the mail from his father. K.R. found that it was an empty pokeball which actually brought joy to him but due to the fact that it was from his father, he didn't want to use, as a matter of fact, he actually considered throwing it away. However, K.R. decided to hold on to it.

One day, after getting into an argument with his father over the phone, K.R. stormed out of the condo and hopped on a bus to Ecruteak City and went sightseeing. As K.R. looked around the Burned Tower and passed by a graveyard on the way to the bus station. He realised that he dropped his pokeball and ran back down the road to go get it. Even though he retrieved the pokeball, he missed the bus and sat on a rock to think of a way to get home. As K.R. cursed his father and began to vent his anger and sadness in his heart, he heard a starnge noise but shook it off and continued to curse his father. Soon enough, he saw a Shuppet float around his head and kept following him when he tried to run away.

When K.R. finally got to the nearest bus station, he learned that the next bus wouldn't come until morning, so he had to find a place to spend the night. When K.R. walked out of the bus station he saw the Shuppet in his face once again. As K.R. tried to shoo the Shuppet away, he saw that the Shuppet kept following him. K.R. took off running once again and went to find refuge in a Pokemon Center. however, he was told by a nurse Joy that he had to have Pokemon in order to stay for the night. When K.R. left, he came face to face with the Shuppet again and decided to catch it. As soon as K.R. reached for the pokeball, the Shuppet willingly went inside. When K.R. returned and spent the night at the Pokemon Center and went to catch the bus the following morning, he let the shuppet out of the Pokeball and saw that this was no ordinary shuppet. He saw that it was a teal olor and sparkled with stars all around its body. K.R. then reaised that Shuppet was his first pokemon. When he called Shuppet back in and returned to Goldenrod City, he told his mother about his small adventure, she was happy for him and offered to groom Shuppet every now and then. K.R. took her up on the offer and even learned how to do it himself.

Everything was fine and dandy until K.R. finally heard the news about the ban on shiny pokemon. K.R. then researched shiny pokemon and learned that his Shuppet was a shiny pokemon. Fearing for Shuppet's safety, K.R. decided to run away from Goldenrod City so he wouldn't have to give up Shuppet.

Starting Town:Goldenrod City

Pokémon Info:
Breed: Shuppet
Gender: Male
Moves: Shadow Sneak, Night Shade, Curse, Screech
Additional Information: Shuppet followed K.R. around until he finally put him into a pokeball. Shuppet was originally attracted to K.R. just to feed off of his emotions. However, Shuppet stuck around and is now K.R.'s companion. Shuppet is a very playful pokemon that usually doesnt get serious. He also enjoys using his ghost-type abilities in order to play pranks on people and other Pokemon.

RP sample: This is from "Battle for The Title"

As Artio looked around, he saw that the mountain was covered in snow. Nonetheless, he could still use his vines and the mountains still gave him the advantage of creating rock slides. Artio smirked and even though he was in his human form, he still knew that he was going to beat this angel pretty quickly. Or so he thought....

"I don't really want to hurt you, but I have to do what I must." he said simply.

Artio raised his hand and a vine shot out of the groud. He then sent it after Pit, who was actively dodging the vine. Artio then smirked as he raised up both of his hands, the crosses on his gloves glowed a greenish color as thicker vines shot up from the ground, trapping Pit. Artio then pointed to his right and tossed pit into a nearby mountain, causing Pit to make a huge crack in the mountain. Artio smirked and thought it was over, Pit suddenly flew off of the mountain as he began to shoot arrows at Artio. Artio was struck in the leg by an arrow and realised that they were stronger than they looked. Pit began firing more and more arrows at Artio, Artio knew that he had to act fast, so he began to jump through the arrows. Artio quickly ran towards the mountain as he began hopping higher and higher into the mountain ranges.

Pit smiled and said, "No matter how high you go, you can't get away from me!" as he fired more arrows at Artio. When Artio got to a certain point, he turned around and faced Pit, who was hovering in front of him. Artio then remembered that Pit had the Wings of Pegasus, which was making him fly like he was. Artio knew how to finish Pit off. As Pit pointed the Arrow of Light at Artio, he then smiled and said, "It's over."

"Not quite!" said Artio as his Celtic cross on his forehead began to glow, the Rocks from the moutain began to raise and Artio flung his hand at Pit, thus causing many rocks to tumble down the mountain, even though Artio caused only a few rocks to tumble down the mountain, he knew that the higher he was up, the more rocks that would be caused to fall down. Therefore, Pit was going to be flattened by the Avalanche of Rocks and snow that came with it. Even though Pit tried to run away, the rocks and snow were too much and pit was soon overwhelmed by the force. Artio then used a giant vine to elevate him to safety. After the avalanche subsided, Artio stood over Pit's unconcious body, smiling victoriously.

• "Marie has gone days without a proper rest," Leo muttered to himself while glancing occasionally back at his pokemon and the letter.

The Snorunt hobbled weakly in response to her trainer's uncertain eyes. Leo knew that at this rate Marie would eventually collapse.

"Shelter and food? Alright Marie, we're gonna be sleeping somewhere else tonight," he spoke to his pokemon with a cheery smile and then he stood up away from the make-shift tent.

The sun had barely risen and the route was barely visible, but this was the only time he could leave. "Pokeballs are for rest and if you rest then you might not wake up," he spoke directly to his pokemon at his side in a joking manor. Snorunt remained oblivious. Marie never really understood Leo's jokes.

Leo took his light bag and traveled away from Violet City towards Cherrygrove on the dirt path with Marie gliding cautiously near him. When the sun came up he darted into the woods that winded with the path. He was now in the vicinity, but where was this infamous warehouse?

OOC: I wasn't sure if it was okay to go to the warehouse right now or not so I left my character in the same position as yours. Also were we supposed to start from our starting town? Or was it okay that I moved my guy to outside of Violet Town @~@ I also saw no need to type out the letter cause it's kinda obvious what is written on it :P

Name:
Charlie ('Chip') Harrows

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Chip is just a little below normal height for his age at five foot seven and has a fairly average build, though arguably with a little more muscle than most. His hair, which is quite long, blond and spiky, is normally hidden under a black cap which also shades his dark brown eyes and pointed features. The rest of his regular outfit consists of a dark yellow jacket, a loose black t-shirt and a pair of grey cargo pants. The look is finished of with a pair of black low-top sneakers, a belt for holding Pokéballs and an old grey bag, which Chip uses for carrying his personal effects. In colder conditions, Chip sometimes switches his cap for a wool beanie and dons a pair of gloves, but for the most part, he wears the same clothes whatever the weather.

Personality: Chip is, quite simply, something of a stereotype. He might not see it that way but he is, basically, a nerd. Though he might not be completely socially inept, he still prefers spending time online and playing video games to hanging out with people his own age in real life. That said, he refutes other nerd stereotypes by keeping in pretty good shape and being of only average intelligence. Still, he is a child of the internet and quite frequently be found calling people "noobs" and declaring "Epic Fail" loudly whenever something goes wrong. Needless to say, this sort of behavious hasn't exactly marked him out as the coolest kid in town. Chip is also a pretty big Pokémon lover and, while he enjoys battling, he sees Pokémon more as pets than as battling partners, hence why he refused to hand over Pip, his shiny Swinub to the Pokémon League.

History: Chip's life has always been a bit weird. His mother died shortly after he was born, when a disease took advantage of her weakened state. His father, in a state of uncontrollable grief, drove his car straight off a cliff several days later, leaving his newborn son to be shipped to his uncle's house in Cianwood. Although Chip knows that his situation is hardly normal, he's never been one for moaning and due to never knowing his parents, he doesn't really know what he's missing out on. Ergo, he doesn't mope about it as much as you might think. Chip's aunt and uncle are pretty nice people, but both work full time, so he rarely sees them. They have a friendly, if not particularly close, relationship. Chip, over the years, has learned from his adoptive family a lot about his parents, especially about his father, who was planning to apply to start his own gym. Inspired by this, Chip was motivated to become a trainer himself – shiny Pokémon or not.

Starting Town: Cianwood City

Pokémon Info:

Breed: Swinub

Nickname: Pip

Gender: Male

Moves: Powder Snow, Mud Slap, Tackle, Dig

Additional Information: Pip and Chip did not meet in the most conventional circumstances, to say the least. In fact, Chip has never really had any idea where Pip came from at all. He was simply walking along the beach one day, when he tripped over a rock…which began to move, wandered about a bit, begged some food off Chip and then followed him home and fell asleep on the rug. Of course, how a Swinub got to Cianwood Island is a mystery.

Pip is, quite simply, the laziest Pokémon that you will ever meet. Although he's happy to battle occasionally, he gets bored and tired with regular fighting, preferring to spend time eating, sleeping, snacking, napping, getting food, dozing, dining and snoozing – as well as various other diverse activities. Still, you don't want to get Pip too angry – once you annoy him enough to make him wake up and/or stop eating, he's probably just about ready to kill you.

You know, running on the roof after temperatures dipped into the freezing levels isn't one of the best ideas in the world. Most people would have enough common sense to stay off roofs all together, even if the weather was nice. But Emma Novak wasn't most people; she was an individual that was so extraordinarily different, many people considered her mentally insane. The few people that actually spent time with Emma realized that this was untrue, however. Emma just happened to be hyper and spontaneous to the extreme.

So, on the brisk and chilly morning, Emma ran around on the roof, slipping and sliding across the frosty shingles and laughing the whole time. It was unclear how she had managed to climb onto the roof, but that was no longer the problem. The problem now was that at any misstep by Emma, she could fall off the roof and to her doom, and that would not be good at all. To try and stop this calamity from happening, Emma's twin brother Ethan was standing on the ground, calling up to her. "Emma!! You'll kill yourself if you do that! Come down here before Mom and Dad have to arrange for your funeral!"

Emma giggled and moved to the edge of the roof, leaning over precariously so she could stick her tongue out at Ethan. "Why do you always have to ruin my fun, Ethan?" Emma asked, tilting her head to one side, "No wonder you want to become a math teacher! You like to suck all the fun out of everyone!" Ethan muttered something under his breath and she just laughed. Putting her idea of fun aside for the time being, Emma realized that it was probably best to get off the roof; she didn't want to upset her parents too much. Moving to the far side of the house, she climbed down the crumbling lattice work and set foot on the ground.

Ethan marched over to Emma and came to a halt about a foot away from her. "You are such an immature child, Emma." He started, glaring at his twin, "Sometimes, I can't imagine how in the world I'm related to such an annoying girl! I can't even tell Mom or Dad about what you do, because I'll end up getting in trouble for not keeping an eye on you." Looking disgusted, Ethan reached into his pocket and pulled out a bent envelope. "Here," he said, shoving the paper into Emma's hand, "I found this outside the back door. It's addressed to you."

Emma silenced a giggle as her brother stormed away, his feet kicking the dirt as he walked. Sometimes I think he's the immature one, she thought humorously. Once Ethan walked into the house, Emma looked down at the letter he had handed her. It was indeed addressed to her, but there was no return address, so she had no idea of who it could be from. Opening the sealed envelope curiously, Emma pulled out the single piece of paper inside and began reading.

NJ
As she read the last word, the letter almost slipped from Emma's hand. Her eyes were open wide with fear and she was trembling. Someone knew. Someone finally knew the secret she had been trying to hide for months. The person in the letter said he/she could help with her situation, but that meant that other people may know about the secret. Emma's eyes jerked over to her bedroom window, expecting to see people breaking in and taking her secret away. Crumpling the letter in her hand, Emma bolted into the house, startling her older sister Tiffany who was cleaning china in the kitchen. Ignoring Tiffany's yells to slow down, Emma went straight to her room, threw herself in, and slammed the door behind her. After securing the lock, she moved over to her closet and peered inside nervously. Sinking to her knees, Emma let out a sigh of relief. There sitting on a small bed in the closet was her secret.

Sparky, a small rodent Pokémon called Pichu, opened its eyes, looked up at Emma and said, "Chuu?" Smiling, Emma pulled the Pokémon into her lap and patted its head while crooning, "You're soo cute!" Some people may be wondering 'why the heck is a common Pokémon like Pichu Emma's biggest secret'? The answer to that question is simple: Sparky is not a normal Pichu, but instead she is an elusive Shiny Pichu. In the present day, anybody who's anybody knows about Shiny Pokémon. They were the main topic of recent controversy. Two weeks ago, the Pokémon League said that all trainers with Shiny Pokémon must turn them into officials by the end of the week, or the Pokémon would be taken by force. If attended Kindergarten, you should know that that means Emma disobeyed those orders.

Emma had received a sharp twinge of intuition that turning Sparky over to the Pokémon League was a very bad idea. She had been hiding the golden-orange Pichu from everyone for a while beforehand, but since the announcement, things had become a lot more stressful. Just the other day, her mother had asked her why she was sneaking food up to her room all the time, and last night Sparky accidentally overloaded the electrical system, causing the house to loose power. Emma had realized that it was only a matter of time before someone found out about her secret. Now that that time had come, it was time to make a decision. Emma could stay at home and hold out as long as she could until the Pokémon League found out, or she could do something about the situation and agree to meet this mysterious 'NJ' person.

Meeting NJ down by Cherrygrove City would be risky. How could she trust someone she'd never met? It might just be a trap. But what good would come of sticking it out at the house? Sighing, Emma looked down at her friend. "Sparky, I think we're going to go on a little journey today," she started, "I can't protect you forever here, and someone sent me a letter claiming that they could help us. I don't want anything bad to happen to you, so I think we should take our chances and go. What do you think?" The Pichu seemed to think about it for a moment before slowly nodding her head in assent. Standing up, Emma placed Sparky on her shoulder and looked about the room. "Well Sparky, I guess we should pack stuff up and leave as soon as possible. I'll write a quick note for Mom and Dad saying that I went to visit Grandma, or something." She stated, "Cherrygrove City is our destination, and lucky for us, that's only one town over."

----- Outside Cherrygrove City -----

Leaving home had been very difficult for Emma. Her family had always been extremely important to her, especially her twin Ethan, even though he annoyed the hell out of her most of the time. After packing, Emma had recalled Sparky to her pokéball, grabbed her newly packed backpack, placed her note on the mantle, and walked out the back door. It had taken about six hours to traverse the land between Violet City and the outskirts of Cherrygrove City and along the way, Emma had gotten distracted by some very slow moving Caterpie's, but she got there all the same. However, as she was walking through the trees, Emma realized that she didn't have a clue where this so-called 'warehouse' was. Why didn't that NJ person give me any directions? Gah, how annoying! Emma thought to herself whilst scratching her head. Seeing as there was not much she could do now besides get lost in the wilderness if she continued on, Emma climbed up into a tree and sat down on a low branch, waiting for a stroke of wisdom to hit her.

• Koji finished setting up his house to burn in smoke. His elekid looked up at him with a sad expression. "Don't worry my mom is dead and my dad is dead in my heart. I have to burn this place to the ground and forget about these memories. From now on it is just you and me, Elekid." Koji said as he grabbed a match from his pocket. Just as he was about to light it, a letter fell from the sky. Koji was surprised to see a letter fall from the sky. Even Elekid was a bit confused. They both hastily opened the letter.

As they read the letter koji couldn't believe what it was telling him. He also couldn't believe that his Elekid could read, but he wasn't really paying attention to Elekid.

Dear Trainer,

I know you have a special Pokémon who is in need of some help. I can offer you this help. I can offer you shelter and food. "Cherrygrove City, that place isn't too far from me. It is only the next town over. Alright then, me and Elekid have to leave as soon as possible." Koji thought as he put the letter in his pocket. However, Koji knew if he wanted to bring his Elekid with him on his journey it would need a disguise. "I don't have a Pokeball for you, so we will just have to hide you from the crowd. I won't let anyone take you away from me." Koji smiled as he went back into the house. Elekid stayed by Koji's side and wondered what his partner was looking for. Koji was moving all around the house, but could not find what he was looking for.

"Where did I place it? I got it for my birthday when I was younger and now I don't have a clue to where it may be." Koji said, while he still looked around the room for something. He decided that his best choice was to look in the attic for the thing. So he pulled down the stairs from the ceiling and went into the attic.

Elekid was still confused, but still followed his partner into the attic. Elekid was afriad of the attic and Koji knew that. "Elekid, you don't have to cling to my leg so tightly I won't leave you in the attic. I am here looking for your disguise, so be a little more patient with me, ok?" Elekid nodded in agreement. Koji smiled and then tripped over a box. When he looked up at the box, he realized that was the box he had been searching for. He opened the box and inside he saw the disguise. He pulled the disguise from the box, it was a black cloak. "I use to wear this when I was a child, because I would always play hide and seek with my parents. They bought me this so I could be a master of hide and seek, but now it's your turn." Koji wrapped the cloak around his Elekid.

Elekid was completely covered and unrecognizable. Koji and Elekid walked outside and finished what they started. "Let this match start the flames of our burning past, new flashy present, and bright future." Koji lit the match and set the house aflame. As the house burned to the gorund, Koji and Elekid made their way to Cherrygrove City to meet this mysterious letter person.

K.R. folded the note and put it back into his pocket. He looked out the window and saw the passing trees as he and his Shuppet were on their way to Cherrygrove City. K.R. then looked at his belt and saw the red and white pokeball clipped on it. He laid his head back as the bus continued cruising. He hoped that Shuppet wouldn't randomly and spontaneously just jump out of the pokeball. K.R. remembered giving explicit and specific instructions to Shuppet about coming out of the pokeball until he was called out. However, K.R. could only keep his mind on what had happened througout the entire day.

Flashback a few hours earlier... (Note: All Flashbacks will be in italics)

"The Pokemon League is enacting a ban on Shiny Pokemon?!" exclaimed K.R.

"Yes Keiku, and your Shuppet is a shiny pokemon, soon enough, Shuppet will be taken away from you." said Sanyoko Reishu, K.R.'s mother

"No...there has to be a way to save Shuppet, as long as I'm still alive, they won't lay a hand on my Shuppet." said K.R. flatly

K.R. then went up the stairs and began to pack a few necesary things. He opened up his drawer and got out his cash and his debit card. He grabbed the pokeball and closed the drawer. He stuffed a few clothes in a small bag and looked around the room. K.R. frowned and then said, "Shuppet, come here!" The puppet pokemon came out of the wall and floated down towards K.R.

"Shu...Shuppet."said Shuppet happily

"Shuppet...we have to leave this place, I don't know where we're going but we're going on an adventure and who knows, we may be able to battle."

"Shuppet! Shuppet!" said Shuppet happily

"Oh and one more thing, no matter how much you want to, you cannot, I repeat, you cannot come out of you pokeball unless I call you out."

"Shuppet."

K.R. then ran downstairs and was about to rush out of the door, but K.R.'s mom stopped him just in time.

"First of all, you were about to leave without saying goodbye and second, you have this nothe here. I meant to give it to you earlier, but I forgot. It was taped to our door when I came home from work."

"Oh...um thanks. I'll call you as soon as I can." said K.R. as he ran out of the door with his Shuppet in the pokeball.

As K.R. was making his way to the bus station, he read the note, wondering where this strange journey was going to take him.

End of Flashback....

After K.R. finished reminiscing, he placed his earbuds in his ear and turned on some Hard Rock and drifted off to sleep, waiting for the bus to arrive in Cherrygrove City.

• (OOC: Nice posts guys. I'm tired, so I'll do my talk with Nurse Joy asap tomorrow morning. Hopefully the OOC thread will be up soon so we can discuss things properly lol)

Ben stood their trying to work out how he could find the abandoned warehouse mentioned in the letter. 'That's it the letter!' he thought in a moment of inspiration. He pulled the letter from his jeans pocket and read it, and then re-read it... but there was no directions at all included in the letter. Looking around Ben could only see a number of tall trees... no signs, or anything, that could lead him to this mystery warehouse he was supposed to be heading to...

His trail of thought was interrupted by a movement inside the bundle of coats he was carrying.

"Char?" said the golden lizard beneath the coats sleepily looking around. The golden pokémon's face then lit up as he saw the surrounding woodland. "Char!" He exclaimed happily, leaping out of Ben's arms and running into the woodlands.

"Charmander come back!" yelled Ben, pursuing the fire type pokémon. Taking this as a game of chase, Charmander sped off, diving in between trees in an attempt to lose his chasing trainer.

"Charmander stop!" Ben yelled, panicking as he lost sight of the golden fire type. What if someone saw Charmander?

"Char?" came a cry from Ben's left.

Ben sprinted in the direction and spotted saw his young pokémon, his golden shine sticking out against the dull colours of the surrounding trees. Ben skidded to a halt, and saw a Chansey standing in front of his Charmander. The Chansey didn't look like a normal Chansey however as instead of having a pink colour, the pokémon talking to his Charmander was green. Ben thought it very strange that a pokémon as rare as Chansey was just walking around the forest. As if to validate this thought; Chansey began walking away, with Charmander waving at Ben to follow. With no other idea's, Ben decided to follow the green Chansey... hoping the pokémon would take him to its trainer.

Chansey certainly seemed to know where it was going, only pausing to make sure Ben and Charmander were still following. After a short while Ben began to have second thoughts about trusting Chansey... after all most Chansey belonged to Nurse Joy's, who were all employed by the pokémon league... what if it was a trap?

Just as he had finished this thought, Ben rounded the corner and immediately felt bad for doubting the friendly, green pokémon. They were standing directly in front of a warehouse, which must be the one mentioned in the letter! Ben mouth then dropped, in front of the warehouse was standing.... Nurse Joy!

Only one thought crossed Ben's mind... 'What the hell is going on here?'

• The blonde haired girl stood against the window, the white lacey handmade curtains swirling around her as a northern breeze blew inside. She looked up at the newly night sky, picking out the first star she could see. She made a silent wish that she would find her grandmother and Raichu soon. It had been months and there was still no sign of either of them.

A silver colored eevee jumped onto the chair beside the window, looking up sadly at her trainer. "Ee?" she said quietly. Niki smiled as she looked down at the pokemon. "I'm alright," she said, "just thinking is all." Her kind and soft voice rang sweetly in the eevee's ears. After another glance at the night sky, Niki shut the window and drew the blinds, making sure no one could see her or her eevee. She picked the small foxlike pokemon up in her arms, and sat down in the chair.

"It's ok Efah," she said soothingly, scratching the pokemon lovingly behind the ears, "I'm not going to let anyone get you. You're safe with me."

Nikki sighed heavily again as the eevee fell asleep in her arms. She leaned back in the chair, her mind flashing to the note she recieved earlier. It read:

Dear Trainer,

I know you have a special Pokémon who is in need of some help. I can offer you this help. I can offer you shelter and food. I will be waiting for you in a warehouse located in the woods surrounding Cherrygrove City and Route 29. If you are interested in receiving my help, please meet me here.

NJ

Nikki twirled a small strand of her golden colored hair between her fingers as she thought about what to do, a nervous habit she had since she was little. Should she risk efah's safety and travel to Cherrygrove? It was only a few towns over... and Violet was the only one she had to go through and it wasn't very big.... She thought about what a risk it would be, and if someone saw her? She shook her head.

I can't let myself think like that, she thought, I must stay positive, for Efah's sake. So she tossed the idea of staying in her mind.

What if I leave her and Grandma shows up? I could leave a note.. but what if she needs me right away? I just don't know what to do! She burried her face in the eevee's soft coat, trying not to let her worried tears fall. It seemed like she would never find her answer. Just as she was about to give up on it for the night and just sleep on it, someone began to pound on the front door.

"We are pokemon league officials! We heard there was a shiny pokemon on the premises, and we are here to collect what's righfully ours!" the voice shouted from the other side. Niki jumped up, cradling Efah in her arms.

"Oh no!" she whispered breathlessly, "Efah, we have to go! If they catch you..." she didn't finish her sentence. "You have to get inside your pokeball. I know you don't like it, but you can't be taken away from me!" "Eevee," the foxlike pokemon repiled sadly. "I promise, when it's safe I will let you out. Just please, stay inside for a little while." The pokemon nodded and allowed herself to be returned to the pokeball.

"Open up or we will knock down this door!" the angry voice shouted. Niki quickly gathered blanket to cover the eevee if she had to, and slipped her pokeball into her red colored backpack. She slipped a long dark red colored coat on over her clothes and grabbed her precious cresent moon shaped saphire necklace that had once been her mother's. "Please, help me get out of her safely mom," she whispered, slipping it over her neck. Then the blond girl slipped nearly noiselessly out the back door, and she darted for the cover of the forest at the edge of the small town.

• 'What the hell is going on here?!?'

"Please come inside," said Nurse Joy to Ben, who just stood motionless.

Nurse Joy must be the NJ that had sent the letter... but could Ben trust her? She was an employee of the pokémon league... what if it was a trap?

"Come inside and I'll explain everything," implored Nurse Joy.

Ben looked down at Charmander, who began walking towards the warehouse. Ben sighed but followed the fire type pokémon, if Charmander trusted Nurse Joy then that was good enough for him. When Ben and Charmander entered the warehouse, Ben was shocked at what he saw. He had been expecting a large empty room with a couple of beds and some food packs. Instead he saw a number of huge machines lined up against the wall, with a number of hammocks stretched between the various beams... it looked like there were more than just Ben coming. There was also a number of medical kits piled in the corner and a mountain of food being stored, obviously Nurse Joy planned on staying here for the long haul.

The door slammed behind Ben and the room went dark for a few moments, bar the flame on Charmander's tail, before a light flickered into life above Ben's head. He turned around to see Nurse Joy and the green Chansey walking towards him.

"So, what do you think?" asked Nurse Joy cheerfully.

Ben was momentarily lost for words, but just about managed "How?"

"Well working for the pokémon league, I knew what they were planning to do a long time before you did. So, I began to prepare and make this warehouse as comfortable as possible."

Ben nodded, but needed to know something, "What are those machines for?"

Nurse Joy smiled. "The pokémon league's decision isn't as widely supported as they think. A friend of mine came and set these machines up for me last week. They are used by the police to listen in on criminal's telephone conversations. We're going to use it to listen in on the police!"

"How?" Ben burst out.

"Well, the police have set aside one radio wavelength exclusively for all information about shiny pokémon. This machine is set up to pick that wavelength..."

"So we can listen in on them?" asked Ben.

"Yes, and we can use this information to save the shiny pokémon."

Ben nodded slowly, taking in Nurse Joy's words, which finally they hit him...

"Wait, what?" he exclaimed.

• Nikki panted heavily once she reached the confines of the over grown forest. She hadn't stopped running since she left the house, for fear the officials and the police would catch her. She leaned against a tree, her long blond hair covering her face as she looked at the ground. She let herself catch her breath, then looked at the black forest before her.

She was on the route for Violet City, the only city keeping her away from Cherrygrove. The path was pitch black with darkness; the trees were so thick it was hard to see even in daylight. She had brought a flashlight with her, but she knew better then to use it. If someone was in there looking for shiny pokemon, she didn't want to be caught. She took a deep breath into the forest, anxious to just be on the other side.

Niki traveled through the dark forest without much of a problem. She had ran into a few trees here and there and tripped over several roots, but she arrived at the edge of Violet City without much of an issue. She stood covered in shadows on the edge of the city, looking to see if she should head through the city just yet. She sighed in a frustrated manner as she noticed the place seemed to be crawling with police officers. She looked down at her clothes. She had a few spots of dirt here and there on her coat, but for the most part she looked pretty spotless. She shed her long coat and slipped it into her bag, in an effort to look less conspicuous. She ran her hands through her hair quickly, then headed right through the town.

I hope no one is suspicious of me, she thought desperately. She clutched her crescent shaped pendent in her hand nervously, but it was the only sign she showed of being a bit jumpy. She walked right up to a police officer, a bright smile upon her face.

"Excuse me, sir," she said politely, "can you tell me where the pokemart is? I need to pick up an antidote before I head through the forest, what with all the beedrill hanging around in there." She put her hands behind her back and rocked back on her heels as she waited for an answer. Her face was always like that of a young girl's; even though Niki new what dangers and sadness came with life, she always retained her innocence.

• The forest was thick with a certain sappy smell. At first Leo had enjoyed it, but by now he just wanted to puke.

"Where the heck is that comming from!" he shouted in the air at no one inparticular and then he just stared forward, motionless with defeat.

It was then he realised how festered this area was with insects. Yellow cocoon pokemon hung to nearly every tree. They were now glaring at him menacingly. Leo now remembered what these were.

"Kakuna," he whispered to Marie. "If either of us makes one false sound then... then... we run," he continued with caution and nervousness.

His words did not faze his pokemon. Marie was still wondering if this was another one of his lame jokes and then she tripped. The thump resonated throughout the still forest and the eyes of the kakuna became a maddening red. They jiggled a bit and then their shells began cracking.

"Run, Marie!" Leo shouted as the cracking sound grew mightier.

His Snorunt remained blank-faced. At this point he just swooped her into his arms as swarms of Beedrill from the Kakuna chased after him. He didn't even care about the green Chansey when he ran her over, although, she was mighty ticked until she realised what he was running from. The Chansey stood her ground and launched an egg forward. A few Beedrill fell down, but more quickly filled the gap. The Chansey fled then as well and followed after Leo and Marie. A warehouse awaited them, but he could not recall anything he read in the letter so as he entered it the only thought in his mind was to escape the Beedrill. He locked the door after the Chansey and then turned around.

"What the heck," he blurted outloud at the site and to make it even weirder there was a Nurse Joy. He was in complete shock.

"A so another arrived!" the Nurse exclaimed. Leo stood there stuned and allowed the Nurse to take him to another male. This one had an odd colored Charmander and then he rememebered that Chanseys weren't green and that warehouses don't magically exist in forests.

"The letter?" he finally recalled and then the Nurse's words pierced his thoughts.

"Allow me to explain..." she began, but Leo interjected, "No let him explain. Nurses aren't to be trusted." He was pointing directly at the boy with funny colored Charmander.
