He's telling you to grab a hacking tool and open the maps up yourself.

You don't, Beta 5 doesn't allow you in the cave as it'll probably be some event involving legendaries.
 
does anyone have any idea when Beta 7 will be released Cerullan citys isn't the most excitingest [places to end a beta!!!

i know zel is busy but i have nothing more to do now:(

he means that you have to open the game through Advance Map.
or if you want, watch some YouTube videos.
 
I found a shiny hoothoot.....is that still rare like shinys in the other versions or is it easier to find them in this hack

yo can find a big mushroom in the rock smash trick house

The same place you get it in normal Gold/Silver, the only house on the route going south on "Silence Bridge"

Shiny's are just as rare as ever, although you do get a free shot at a shiny Gyarados.
 
I really name some help.

In Lavender Town, when I enter the bottom right house (not the Soul House), I am challenged to a battle by this Black Belt with a Hitmonlee and Steelix with hacked moves such as Poisonpowder and Leech Seed. After the battle, the game just crashes and leads to a blank white screen. I'm playing beta 5, and I did not patch this over an earlier beta, I patched it over a clean FireRed rom. I'm not sure what's causing it.
 
i have few questions about mystery places in this game:

When i go through olivine city to battle tower (not entering to building) and i try to fly away, fly map is totally changed, theres only a small island map (reminds me THREE ISLE MAP) and there are places: CHERRYGROVE CITY (almost everywhere on that map, and inside is WATER LABYRINTH, MAIDENS PEAK DIS (on right) and SEIRUN TOMB (down), then there is CERULEAN CAVE (and up is ROCKET HIDEOUT), on left side is city KALM CITY NOUSAR (and there is BATTLE TOWER), and on left side is BLUE ROUTE too...

and i ask: can i go to that places? or they are there only for fun?

i cant give you screenshots because it writes: you cant only allowed URL if you have 15 posts or something like that...

and last thing: i didnt use any cheats, any hacking programms, i only play game

and sorry for my bad english

I think this bug has occured before, I cannot remember if there's an actual cause or reason for it let alone fix, it's probably listed in the bugs section of the main Shiny Gold post.

That also looks like a glitch, just like when you try to fly to Pallet Town and end up at New Bark Town with messed up grass, I've never encountered this but I don't think you can access those routes.

Don't forget that Zel is overwriting the Sevii Islands to make his Johto, so he may have just ran out of room for the Battle Tower and decided to throw it where one of the islands is and been unable to change the map.

It's not, I had checked. I hadn't seen any reports about this specific bug, so I wasn't sure if I did something wrong to cause the glitch.

Either way, I guess the only solution is to not enter the house?

Actually, you can catch Slowking in the wild. You could fish for one with a super rod on second floor of Slowpoke Well.

Where can I find Flamethrower for my Typhlosion? Or do I have to wait until he learns it at level 60?
Or just hold off my Cyndaquil until he learns it at 46?

Oh and Thunderbolt as well.
 
You'll find Flamethrower somewhere in Victory Road. As for Thunderbolt, I forgot where that one is, unfortunately.
 
Okay thank you. And as for water pokemon, what are my other options besides Feraligatr and Swampert? I started with Cyndaquil and I'm having an awful time finding mudkip.

You could also find Squirtle in New Bark Town waters to the east near your house. But the chances of finding one is as slim as finding Mudkip.
There's also Poliwag, you could surf and fish those in many spaces. Lapras is available in the Union Cave on the upper floor. You could fish for Chinchou in Olivine Pier.
