Shiny Gold Help Thread

Giving this a shot >.<!

I'm giving a new Shiny Gold team a shot and the line-up so far is: Feraligator, Hitmontop, Sceptile, Nidoking. I might use an HM slave or spread around the HMs and use D-nite/Aero with Fly.

My problem is I need a good Fire type!!

Feraligator
Surf
Ice Punch/Beam(Might give beam to King)
Earthquake
Brick Break

Hitmontop
Brick Break
Bulk Up(If this is a TM and someone knows where it is. If not Stregnth)
Earth Quake
Rock Slide/Counter/Aerial Ace (If I can get it RS...)

Sceptile
LeafBlade
Thunderpunch
Dragon Claw (Where is this T_T?)
Cut/Prusuit/Flash/ DYNAMIC PUNCH SUCKER!

Nidoking
Megahorn
Earthquake
Sludge Bomb
Ice Punch-Beam/Thunderbolt-Beam

My choice runs down to Arcanine vs Charizard vs Blaziken...

The sets for Charizard (Flamethrower, EQ, Wing Attack, ----) and Arcanine (Crunch, Flamethrower, ExtremeSpeed, Howl/Curse/----) aren't the most appealing to me really. Now for Blaziken my issue is that I can't get him until way late into the game when I...well don't really need him for much...Perhaps if I could get Sub-Punch on Charizard it would make a difference to me...Anyways, who should I go with? Arcanine might be good as despite having a limited move-pool he makes a great mixed sweeper, but Charizard who might not hit as hard on the physical side has better physical moves.

TM HELP: I know WHERE Ice Beam and Flamethrower are, but T-Bolt is a mystery to me as well as Aerial Ace. I also need help finding Dragon Claw (BADLY) as Sceptile with T-Punch and LeafBlade won't cut it for me, though I can get it Crunch I believe. Also anyone know if Rock Slide or Substitute are available in TM form in this game?

Why does it say that I haven't been to Cherygrove City (I can't fly there) and all the caves and Ilex forest and the lake of rage? Thanks

Hello, first I´m spanish and my sucks a lot of, here we go:

I have the badge 1,2,3,4,5,6 AND 8 (not the 7, this is strange :S) but i don´t have some problems with it, the really problem is:

When I try to across to fight with "Debora" (the lidergym of the last-badge) I can´t because the rock not is when it MUST be, the rock is "one step up" and block the pass with a "figure of a Dragon, I think the rock fell down near the lider by the UP hole not the DOWN hole and if I exit and enter again the rock is in the similar place =(!!"

Please I play the rom on a NDS with Flash Cart and I love this game and I can´t continue

Zel help me =(
--EDIT--
Nothing can help me?

Sorry for the double post but the problem is fixed jaja no me he dado cuenta de que fallaba al meterla en el hoyo!!

Muchas gracias a la comunidad y al moderador madrileño que me redireccionó aquí! :) And specially thanks to Zel that make this remake possible!

I just know where to get Sludge Bomb:

Spoiler:

I'd actually say Arcanine over Blaziken, but that's just because Blaziken has so many weaknesses due to its typing, while Arcanine only has fire-type weaknesses.

I have 2 questions:

1. How do I evolve Onix and Graveler? Moon stone doesn't work on them
2. Is there a move re-learner in the game?

Where can I find the pokemon to build my team?

I need to know where is SG would you find:

Houndour
Eevee
Scyther (is it still in the national park?)

Also, how early do I get a moon stone and a sun stone to evolve my scyther into scizor and my eevee into espeon?

Thank you very much. I just remembered. Is it possible to get a teddiursa in Dark Cave in case I change my mind and want an ursaring. If not, where do you find teddiursa in SG?

I sound so nooby...I just want a good team.

I know the trade-evolvers evolve by level in this...but if you trade them to firered or leafgreen will they evolve anyway?

I need help, every time I try to load the game it get's stuck at "Greetings! This is the Help system." etc.

The system is changed so they will only evolve by the new rulse, sorry.

meaning, no trade will work anymore.

In your keyboard, Z is the in-game A, X is B, A is R and S is L. Enter is Start and Delete is Select. So, when the game says "press a", you have to press Z in your keyboard XD

Went is wrong in one instance, if you're trading from SG to SG, then the SG evolution rules apply, but, if you're trading to FR/LG as you posted, then yes, trade evolutions will occur when the FR/LG receives the trade evolution pokemon, I have experienced this by being cheap with SGX and beating it with a 3 ele punches Alakazam.
