shiny claydol? cool..at the moment were looking for a shiney zubat...

hmmm. I'll help out. Just need someone to tell me if you really can catch shiny pokemon in FR/LG.

Shiny claydol isn't that great... On the gameboy screen it looks almost the same as normal Claydol... When I found it, I didn't know about shinys, just saw the stars fly around it and decided to catch it. Then, I descovered it was discolored!

Okay zubat it is then...

Right now we are searching for a shiny zubat, and I'm searching for a shiny ponyta!!

Update-about 20 hours of searching = 1 shiny spearow and 0 shiny ponyta...Darn Spearows!!

I'm counting the number of zubats I find... 5 & 0 shinys. I'm looking in the Altering Cave, as only zubats are there now.

Are you actually counting?? And it will take wayyy more than just 70, so please don't give up!

Its sad: I have had over 600 hours of game time, but still, only one shiny!

All righty...I haven't been looking much for...reasons -Snuggles her new Latias.- But, now I guess I will resume, after I get out of the Elite Four that my friend put me in. >_< About our shiney hunting, we'll need a NAME for it, let's do something clever! If you have any ideas, post them on this thread, and once we, as a majority decide on one, I'll make a new thread, titled with our name, and the first post will include all 150 pokemon. It will have if they were caught, evolved, if they've yet to been caught, so on and so forth. Let's get those shineys!!!!

Hmm... That seems off. If you saw 100 pokemon a day, you should see a shiny every 19 days...
