Why do shiny hunters always get all the shinies. It´s not fair. We normal gamers may once in a while want a shiny and try for 24 years!!! Shiny hunters get it in the first 3 tries. Tell me if you want to express how annoying it is

I have tried Poke Radar, Masuda method, Breeding ma red Gyarados, SRing and all i have got is 1 unown.
I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THAT GAME FOR OVER A YEAR

Huh? Getting a shiny often takes shiny hunters just as long as it would take anybody else (unless they RNG).

Um, no. Like I said before, the odds of finding a shiny are the same for every person.

I don't find it annoying. Personally, I don't see why anybody would spend hours trying to get a Pokemon of a different color, but I don't find it annoying.

I'm a shiny hunter. Sometimes I get lucky (hatched back to back shiny. It was ridiculous), but other times I go on month droughts (like right now with my secret hunt, and time when it took around 25k encounters for shiny raticate). You just have to be patient and keep doing what you're doing.

i was reading about the rng and turns out you cant do it without ar or hacking

i never get lucky. im thinking about closing this thread(if i can)

Um what? I RNG, I don't own an AR and I certainly don't hack. I don't know what you were reading but it certainly wasn't about RNG'ing.

i just posted this thread cuz i was jealous. Also, i never really thought anyone would pick the 1st option in the poll

Instead of creating a thread stating that you're jealous. You could of just turned it into a discussion.

Nope. Only mods can do that, like I stated.

Good idea, dragonomega... how do you RNG without an AR? I'd love to learn the ways to do it, but I've had difficulty finding ways... thanks!

Well, look at it this way - the people who get a lot of shiny Pokemon are either very very lucky (rare if they don't actually 'hunt' for them) or they spend the time and effort into a certain aspect of the game that allows them to be more likely to obtain Pokemon. It's not a matter of 'I've been playing for over a year so I should have some' - it's more 'if you want so-and-so then become good at this and do it for a good while and you'll likely get it'. lol @ '24 years' too given the games have not been around for that long yet. =p Given the game creaters made at least two ways to get shiny Pokemon (breeding via the Masuda method - no, it's not the same as the method in GSC but rather applies to 4th/5th gen games only - and chaining) I'd say it's perfectly fair in that regard.

BTW, if you want the thread to be closed just report your own first post saying you're the thread opener and wish for it to be closed, or PM the moderator of this section, I suggest.

    Closing on OP's request.

    Locked.
