What's your go-to method when you're looking to catch some shinies? Do you like to grab a foreign Poke and breed using the Masuda method? Go for a PokeRadar chain? Break out a fishing rod and go chain fishing? Or do you just try to go out into the wild and hope that you run into a shiny by chance?

I don't hunt for shinies as much anymore; I find it to be sort of a complicated process. It consumes a good amount of time and energy, which I believe we could spend doing something slightly more productive, haha. All shiny Pokémon that I do run into nowadays are mostly due to luck.

Masuda Method for me as well. What makes it even better is my 6IV Spanish Ditto; it becomes easier to breed competitive shinies too when paired with a Pokemon species with the desired nature.

I personally prefer matsuda method because you can take your time hatching the eggs for shinies. I usually hatch around 50 eggs per day until a shiny pops up and it's less stressful compared to the other methods.

Wonder Trade...lol. I get most of my Pokemon that way and I've hatched a hand full too and gotten a few through the Friend Safari. Though I've never just ran into a shiny out in the wild. I'll go on a shiny hunt every so often to fill my Shiny Living Dex.

Masuda method is my usual go-to. Granted, I've never succeeded at it before ;_; But it seems like the best way to get the shinies that I really want. All the shinies I currently have are either ones I found in the wild, gifts I got from friends, or event Pokes.

I've tried PokeRadar chaining, but it's actually quite tough. I can never seem to get a good chain going.
