SHINY SHINY SHINY

My first wild shiny was a Pidgey in Viridian Forest. (HS/SS)

Though before that I had come across a shiny or two in the Battle Frontier in Emerald. ;_;
 
Have never... ever caught or seen a shiny pokemon :(....... haha it would suck if you actually finally encountered one and then it ran away after 1 turn..
 
Apart from the Red Gyarados in HGSS, none.
My friend is still grieving about a shiny Lairon in Emerald that used Roar.
 
I've encountered (and caught):
  • A shiny Steelix in Victory road in pokemon Diamond.
  • A shiny Meowth in Pokemon Soul Silver.
    [*]A shiny Gyardos in Pokemon Shiny Silver.
 
Just today, I encountered a Lv4 Shiny Weedle in FireRed. I tried thundershocking it. It worked, but my second attack was a Critical Hit! Argh! I hate myself now...

Ive encountered a shiny tentacool in emerald and a shiny roselia in diamond, oh and my precious shiny ninetails that i bread in platinum.

The only one I've ever seen myself. I gave it to a friend as a gift, too. Though I've also gotten:

Cacturn
Shuckle
Butterfree

from another friend. (All Platinum)
 
Found a shiny poochyena in sapphire and killed it -.- cause back then i didn't no that shinys were rare.
In SS i've found a shiny horsea, machop and gloom.
 
I have never even seen a shiny pokemon besides the red gyrados... I have bad luck.
 
SoulSilver - Sentret level 4 - now it's a level 27 furret with pink fur.
 
man you guys to be encountering some of the shinies that you do are really lucky...I've yet to own my own shiny since for about the recent 4 years i've played these games i havent encountered a single shiny...

if you breed a shiny donphan and a ditto would you get a shiny Phampy or normal phampy!?!?!?

1. My two shiny Pikachu-colored Pichus.
2. My red Gyrados.
Those two don't really matter since they were guaranteed shinies, but this one I just got today:
3. My shiny orange Shellder!
It was so random, I was breeding to get one with a relaxed nature, not even using the Masuda method or anything. Then out pops a shiny Shellder with Timid nature! It's not the nature I wanted, but It's not a hindering nature for what I wanted either, so it's awesome! I must have saved like 10 times afterward, and I even took pictures. :P

And yes, I named him "Clamwow". It makes perfect send since he's orange and I think those "Shamwow" things are orange. It won't make as much sense when I evolve it and it's a light blue cloyster, but I still like the name.
 
Gold Version - Shiny Ursaring in the route right next to Mt. Silver
Platinum Version - Shiny Gloom and a Shiny Biberel
 
The first shiny Pokemon I encountered was a Shiny Pidgey in Leafgreen! And the next one was in Diamond, it was a Floatzel :D. The next ones were:
Pichu Coloured Pikachu
Shiny Gyarados
 
I've had a few, my first was a zubat in ruby - I thought it was a glitch! So I ran away :(
I've had a golpin on ruby too, but I don't know where it went...
Emerald - I saw one in the Battle Factory >=( It was annoying! Then a Exploud, which I still have on my Heartgold. Also a Manertric.
I've seen tons, but I've forgotten what they were...
 
I've only encountered 4 shinies throughout the games, and I've generally had some bad luck with them.

-The first I saw was a shiny Teddiursa on my Pokemon Gold. I ended up getting a one-hit KO thanks to a critical hit, and I've seen very few Teddiursa (let alone shiny) since then.
-The next one I found was a shiny Shroomish. This is the only one I've actually caught, but I didn't even realize it until a year or two later when I was cleaning out my boxes on Sapphire. I must have caught it just for the Pokedex, and never even realized it was shiny.
-The third I encountered was a shiny Paras in the Safari Zone on Fire Red. I was fooling around and wanted to see if I could catch a Chansey with only 1 step and 1 Safari Ball left. With my luck, I ran into a shiny Paras, and I didn't want to risk it running away, so I threw my Safari Ball at it right away, with no luck.
-The last one I found a few weeks later was when I was playing Fire Red on VBA. I was just randomly going through it when I was stopped by the old man who teaches you how to catch Pokemon. A Shiny Weedle appeared, and I was quite mad at the fact that I found a shiny on the VBA, and I wasn't able to even catch it!
