Hey welcome Kayleigh! =D

Wow that's a lot of shoujo anime you like. XD

Do any of you guys recommend which next shoujo anime I should read? =3

Several of the manga that I listed haven't been licensed yet, so you'd have to order the volumes and get the translations (or just find scanlations) in order to fully enjoy them. But they're worth it! :D

Yeah, I hope not. As for Amu, I know. ♥ I think that she has one of the cutest school uniforms that I've ever seen. And the pink hair... I'm jealooouuusss.

That really surprised me, but hey, I'm not complaining. XD Oh, and really? I'm not familiar with that group, but I do love the opening...

Thankies! And as for my recommendations, uhh... anything that I listed. =3 But those are just my favorites. It depends on which kinds you like to read best. (Comedy, drama, etc.)
 
^ Hmmm the latest one I read was Lucky Star and Ouran High School. And they are both comedies.... So any comedy suggestion?
 
I don`t know if it`s just me, but most animangas are comedies. I guess... Gakuen Alice fits into those categories. I have the drama CD & I love it. ♥ It`s really cute too. =]

Lol. xD Yeah, I`ve heard about the community before. Never knew they have subbed animes there, especially since I hardly download anime from the internet. =| Looks cool though. =]
 
I used to go to animesuki, back when I could download anime. Just so you know, you need a torrent client to download stuff from there.

@Hazuki. You watched Lucky Star and Ouran Koukou Host Club. I love those even though I haven't finished them yet.

I agree with kirarin-tan, most series have at least a little bit of humor in them. The Shugo Chara! anime and manga seem to have a lot, as well as... uhh... Lovely Complex, I guess? And Gakuen Alice!

Ooh, and some other suggestions are Kirara Princess and Kitchen Princess! I totally forgot to add them to my list, but they're two of my favorites. >_<; They've both been released in English and are adorable. I highly recommend them.
 
Yeah. I heard about Kirara Princess. I find it pretty wierd though since it features the Disney princesses in it. =| It looks very cute & she looks just like Alice from Alice in Wonderland. =]
 
I'm a huge fan of Disney stuff, so that's why I freaked out when I first saw the manga. XD The storyline is actually fun and easy to keep up with, plus you have to love the artwork. I was surprised that the princesses were drawn in a style fairly close to their original designs, though... they weren't as, er, manga-ish as I expected. But it still works. =3

I watched Bokura ga Ita too. I loved it at the beginning but less as the story progressed =/

I wish I had time to try out more ;-;

Is Nana Shojo too? I'm going to guess it is since I found the guys were quality and the girls were so not. :< Anyways, Nana was interesting. :P
 
I never got into NANA... although, that's probably because I've only flipped through one chapter of it that was in a shoujo magazine I bought. XD; But I've read a little bit about the story and it just didn't interest me; plus, I disliked the artwork and knew that would distract me the entire time, ehe.

I like Lovely Complex because it has a fairly realistic storyline, to a certain extent. And it's hilarious. XP

The opening to Bokura ga Ita is cuuute~ ♥

Yeah, I hated the artwork in Nana. I watched its live action first which had fine bishounen and female actors so it was all the more disappointing, espcially Nana herself's appearance. :x

XD Yeah, it did feel that way.

I remember how infatuated I was with Takehashi's voice. *o*
 
The Nana manga was the first manga I was ever confused with. o-o I was like.."WTF is going on?" Though that's me..D:

Wow now Twilight decides to sub faster for Kirarin.
 
22sa! *v* It's been a while!

I... kinda understood the storyline to NANA, but didn't really care for it, even though I know it's supposed to be the main highlight of the series. Not the artwork. XD; But I'm shallow, I can't read manga or watch anime that doesn't look pretty!

I wanted to check out Kirarin Revolution a long time ago, but never got around to it. I have so many series to keep up with now and it's just haaard. ._. Especially since I can only watch episodes when I'm at my grandparent's house. But just incase I do, is it worth it?

Main girl aspires as an idol.
Main girl is voiced by a singer from Morning Musume or whatever they're called.

I can watch anime that has terrible looks as long as they have a good plot. Like, Bleach and Naruto, I would've never gotten into either series on my own, I did not admire their art style at all. But their plot & philosophy had a fine intensity to it.

Oh yeahh, Kusumi Koharu from MM. She`s alright I guess. She does a good job singing all of the theme songs for Kirarin. =] She also acts as Kirari`s live-action character.

I guess you can consider Kirarin the same as FMWS, especially since they`re one of those series that have the main character as a singer yeah, Kirari is an idol.
