Should I buy a 1st edition Machamp for 30$? It is still in packaging from what it looks like and I still need to look at it in person. But from what the picture says it looks like it is in very good shape with no scratches bent corners or anything. If I was too buy it and send it too get a PSA grade would I be able
To flip it for a buck? (If it was a 9-10 grade) What do you guys think? i have at least 2 days to make my finally decision thanks a lot - Mark
Ps having a lot of fun opening the new tins. In case you guys missed it target had a huge sale on Pokemon tind for 10$ a tin! Appose to the usual 20$. So I bought loads of them and going to be opening them up on my YouTube!

Absolutely not. The market for Machamp isn't exactly huge.

So Machamp is a cheaper Pokemon? Even if I get Machamp graded by PSA a 9 or 10 it's still not
Worth it? And also all the machamps on eBay don't sell I've seen plenty of these Pokemon on eBay for 200+ after grading by PSA. So your saying none of those high listed PSA machamp cards sell?

None of them should sell. That they're even being listed that high in the first place is a testament to the naivety of some people as well as to the wallet-destroying malice people can stoop to pull off "pranks". Machamp's prices in particular trace back to a video someone posted (and that got shared via an AOL fluff story among other fluff news outlets) that stated a bunch of 100% false values of cards because "they're so very rare!" even though they're not rare at all, and mixed those false values in with just a handful of card values that actually were close to accurate (like with the Pikachu Illustrator). There are a handful of other cards that got the same treatment the Machamp did even though they are far too common to be fetching such absurd prices.

Look buddy, buying and selling old cards isn't an illustrious business, it certainly isn't a quick buck. You need to spend a lot of time at it, build a good reputation (either via eBay, or facebook selling groups) and you're gonna be investing into a volatile market on cards that are just as likely to lose value. It's a big risk. I can help you with it but you need to know what you're getting into and the reality of it.
