This belongs in Ruby and Sapphire discussion. *moves*

Shiny Rayquaza really isn?t worth it unless you?re a super Rayquaza fan.

For some tips, try the FAQ in the RS section.

if you want, can always save in front of Rayquaza, and keep restart/reload until the Rayquaza you're facing is shiny.

Shiny doesn't give that much real benefit, unless you are a super pok?fan just for the collecting aspect (I'm not, I'm in it for the battles!)

It's entirely up to you whether you would like to wait until a shiny Rayquaza appears. I just used an Ultra Ball on the regular one. :P

Well, the odds for shiny is more than 1 in a thousand. If you want to get shiny Rayquaza, you're going to need some serious luck.

The average time needed to restart/reload game for a shiny Pokemon- 80 hours.

I'll give you some time to recover from the shock of terror, and time to do the math.

There's not much point in catching it if it takes that long. It didn't take me that long to get my Pink Kyogre but I'd keep going for 80 hrs anyway cause I love Kyogre!Horn! :P

Maybe I'll put a Pink Kyogre in my siggy...hmm...horn... :paranoid:

Well yeah unless you're a real big Rayquaza fan then there's no real point...HORN!

*passes out and starts twitching* 80 hours!? im glad i didnt try that frosty! :P or more than likely id still be trying! :P

Forget Shiny, I JUST CANT CATCH THE REGULAR ONE!!! o.o

    *regrets using masterball on kyogre*

I think it's easier to get a starter as a shiny than catching a shiny. Is that true? I remember reading it somewhere...

It's always the same odds finding a shiney whether it's starter or wild. Imagine trying to get a female and shiney starter and with the right nature! :D
    HORN!

Shinies are better then the average pokemon(better IVs I think) but if it takes ages to get it then it's not worth the trouble.
