    Before I get into the topic if this is in the wrong place move it please. And if this violates any rules please lock this topic.

    Well me and my friend were just mucking around what we would do for a Wii and if we got one what games and channels would we get for it? So I thought up of an Idea selling a bundle of the following items nothing is NTSC all is Pal (I'll list more items if I seem to find any:

    - A PS2 Slim
    - 11 Games (May be 7 if my sis lets me sell her game)
    -Two Game Controllers
    -A Memory Card
    -2 PS2 Games
    -And I might throw in the new 18,000 codes and cheats book by prima.

    A Wii at EB games which is the cheapest game retailer in Australia is about $400.00 and a game here can range from $80.00 to about $110.00 At the most.
    So I'd like some advice on should do it and how much this would sell for.

    Yeah you should. Wii is getting more new games plus its just better and popular the sales prove it. Also you're lucky in Ballarat the EB games was selling Wii games for $200.

    Well I'm gonna talk to my mother about it and wait for a few more comments to come through

    Video game consoles have tiers just like Pokémon.

    Wii = Uber
    PS2 = BL
    XBox = UU

    Well i talked to my Mother about it and she said taht we'll have a talk later she also said the worse case scenario is taht I might get only $100.00 for it but I might make the starting bid $290.00 Because everything i own is in good condition i might also throw in some extra stuff taht can help you in the PS2.

    EDIT:Like the new cheat code book by Prima ;)

    I'd say go for it. I'm thinking of selling mine for a DS and games, but I don't know how much I'd get either. So I'll watch this thread. However gotron228, make sure to make the price higher. With six games and two controllers as well as the console itself, you should get at least $320. From honest people at least.

    It sounds to me that the bundle you have is perfect enough for selling. If you don't mind not being able to play the games ever again, then by all means, sell it. The Wii currently has a plethora of hits and the gameplay is infinite enough to last you quite a while. Go for it, my good chum.

    I just found out that i have 11 ps2 games and 2 ps2 game controllers extension cords so I think I should at least get $320.00 for the lot I'm selling and I'm gonna find out helpful ways to attract customers on eBay and stuff. Because PS2's are getting older and I thought I should sell my ps2 bundle to get enough money to buy a Nintendo Wii. I'm mainly focusing and thinking on how much someone would buy this bundle I'll update my ps2 offering's list or whatever you guys would like to call it.

    EB? The cheapest game retailer in Aus? I think not.
    JB Hifi is consistently cheaper, and usually have better bundles too. Still, I don't know if there's too much to be gained by selling a PS2 to get a Wii..you're really getting the same quality of titles and the PS2 has a more established library.

    yes but soon the ps2 will be one of those things taht no one will be interested with and where I live theres no JB HiFi only this lame thing called Wow where they sell $600.00 Wiis and I've always wanted a Wii I never really liked the PS2

    But you can get the standard Wii outside the bundle for $388 at JB- usually cheaper :)

    yes but as I said I do not have a JB Hi Fi where I live instead the dumb retailer Wow which sell $600.00 Wiis as I just said before.

    Gotron228, what town to you live in? I might look into this if you want.

    I'll pM you what town i live in I can't just say it in public.

    I would honestly suggest not selling your PS2. :| The ONLY game I have EVER gotten a lot of playtime out of on my Wii is Brawl, and as far as I know that's not even out for you yet. It's the only viable reason I see to buy one.

    The PS2, on the other hand, has gotten a TON of playtime since I got it. I'm even considering buying the slim one so it takes up less space and is easier to move around with me. Since getting the Wii, I've probably clocked about quadruple the time playing my PS2 than I have Wii. There just aren't enough games in the Wii library to make it a great system yet, whereas the PS2 still has a huge library of great games to choose from.

    So I'd stick with the PS2 and just save up for the Wii. If you're deadset on getting a Wii, I guess you should sell, but you might be disappointed is all I'm saying. :\

    Anyway, since this is more about consoles than actual Pokémon games on the consoles, I'm going to move this to Other Games.

    Lightning the wii is better for a lot of other games.
    1. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
    2. Super Mario Galaxy
    3. Mario Kart Wii (its out in europe and is damn good)
    4. Prince of Persia Twin Thrones (port of the PS2/Gamecube version but damn good)
    5. Driver parralel lines (Another port but keeps me happy)
    the list goes on in my book for another 6 or 7 games.

    Yes. First you should sell your PS2 and get a wii then you should smack yourself upside the head for being stupid enough to buy anything from Sony in the first place.

    And YOU should smack yourself in the head and then slit your wrists for saying that the PS2 is a stupid console.

    It's the greatest console of all time, and sales prove it. I'm in no way a Sony fanboy, but the PS2 really was a great console. Don't go bashing Sony just because they screwed up with the PS3 in the beginning.

    In the beggining?! They're still screwing up!!! The PS3 is the biggest failure of thi generation. And your speaking to a person who started video games on the playstation.
    SO

    I just bought a Wii, about 2 hours ago, and I already love it more than my PS2 that I still have. I only have Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but its so awesome. Definitely get it.
