Should Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity get a remake? I'm hoping to bring back the quizzes at the start of the game, as well as gender selection and all starter Pokemon, Pikachu, Axew, and others of different types. I also hope that this remake will be improved, because this game got mixed scores.

I don't know about this, since the game was tied to 5th Gen and that generation is still fairly recent. But if I were to picture a remake with the popular features of the PMD series, I would definitely approve of it better.

I think GtI should get a remake. They should make all Pokemon up to gen 5 obtainable, add an option for faster text, and perhaps more postgame content.

I don't know if my opinion on the matter should be considered, because I've never played it. I played the other two, but the fact that they took so many Pokemon character options away and left us with 5 (none of which I liked,) I decided I didn't even want to play it.
I had a couple friends who played it, both were completely underwhelmed.
I think the general consensus is that Gates To Infinity is the worst PMD. On top of that, it's fairly recent. I hope it's never remade, but if it is, they best add more Pokemon options like you said.

I would opt for a sequel with improved features (set in the same village), rather than a remake. While I would like to see the game improved via addition of extra Pokemon, I'm not sure if that would be enough to justify a remake at this stage, but I think there is a lot more that could be done with some of the mechanics and concepts introduced in that game (and Super Mystery Dungeon isn't necessarily building on those).

That being said, if I were to re-release GtI, I would have more available Pokemon, more starters, etc. I miss the quizzes, but at this point, I don't really want the computer to pick my character for me (I did that for the first couple of games, but now I just have to game the quizzes to get the specific team I'm aiming for). Also, I would expand Paradise a bit, so there is room to make all of the different kinds of stalls simultaneously.

I have always said that a person would need to be a really hard core PMD fan to have liked Gates, and I feel that it applies here. Although it was a horrible game, I forced myself to enjoy it's problematic mechanics. So if they can remake it into a better game, I am all for it.

I am going to have to agree with Hopeless though, Red Rescue is way more deserving a game for a remake than Gates.
