Should Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon accept Pokemons from the Kalos region or Hoenn region? But I don't know if it would affect the Alolan forms of Pokemons and the IDs from the Pikachu at the Hyper Training video.
Out of interest, is there a particular reason why you think Game Freak shouldn't allow transferring from Gen VI? I'm not sure if this:
was your reasoning or not.
Because the Pokemons from their normal form may have a chance on glitching out Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, due to Alola forms.
They did show the older forms in the Alola PokéDex in the in-game footage. They most likely just function as form changes, and when you transfer them, they stay in their original form.
It's similar to how Sawsbuck in XY is only available in its Spring Form, but you can transfer any form from gen 5 and it will remain in that form after transferred.
WHYYYY??? Make more work for us. I don't want them to allow trading with X/Y, becuase then I'll have to complete my pokedex all over again. Just make every Pokemon obtainable. I didn't even bother to do research on X and Y, and I stopped trying to catch all the Pokemon like I did with Platinum version. It's not fair. Now everybody could have a better game than me. That's my two cents. Sorry for being disagreeable.
Look forward to a few enhancements, including compatibility with Pokémon Bank. With Pokémon Bank you'll be able to transfer the Pokémon you've caught in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow to the upcoming Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games!
Yup, I have all 4 forms of Deerling in my Pokemon X. Maybe the Alola forms is just for Pokemons caught or hatched in the Alola Region.
