OOC: Nope, I've just been sponging of Arty's one. *Ish a terrible cheapskate* XD But no more...I shall soon have my own, and it will be a nice, silver-coloured one too that will totally pwn Arty's in appearance value. I'll be glad not to have to share one with him anymore, I swear, there's some seriously funky stuff stuck on the buttons sometimes because he often plays while he's eating. The screen is kinda greasy too, urgh. *Shudders* <_<
Regardless, once I get my own GBA it shall be trading mania between me and Arty, yes it shall. I'll go get myself that Steelix I've been wanting for so long, and maybe a Politoed too (Never had one but they seem to be tough little buggers), oh, and a Snorlax into Emerald. Or maybe an Eevee that I can evolve into Umbry or Espy, ah...the possibilities. ^^
And the screenwriters did what, what, and WHAT?! Gah, hammer my expectations for this movie a bit more why don't you? Urgh, so you mean to say that they've removed several key elements from both the setting and the plot? Geez, that's what you get for putting idiots who probably haven't even read the darn book properly in charge. <_<

"Yes, it was truly fascinating." Rai replied sarcastically to Maxie's comment, although he brought forth the comment with a smile so it wouldn't sound snappish. As the conversation moved onward, Zachary quickly grew agitated, clearly stating his opinions on the subject. Rai remained quiet, his head bent once more and his expression one of sadness. Why...why did people have to be so cruel? Sure, there had been some pretty ruthless sorts training in the Kingsfield gym, but Rai had always thought that that just went with the territory and never in his life would he have even considered that anyone of them, not even the most vicious and heartless, would simply abandon their Snorunts, Sneasels, Swinubs, or any other of the various ice type pok?mon they trained. The mere thought of that poor Vulpix, left outside in the rain and cold all by itself, waiting for a master who never intended to return...it was almost unbearable, and the boy felt a strong urge to cry at the indignity of it all. He forced it back though, remembering, despite his fatigue, that this was neither the time nor the place for such things. Besides, what would his newfound friends think of him if he just started crying all of a sudden? No doubt he'd loose what respect he had earned amongst them. And even if he didn't, it would still be shoving his emotional burden on someone else's shoulders, and Rai was not about to do that.
"I'll get to the bottom of this." he said at last, his voice sounding unusually hard and resolute and his posture straightening "I'll find out what this is all about even if it's the last thing I do. And if that trainer doesn't have any excuse for his behaviour then I'll keep the Vulpix. He doesn't look like he can fend for himself anyhow."
Rai fell silent again as Zachary had his little conversation with Ron and they both walked over to the nearby phone. The boy couldn't help smiling just a little at the sight of the two. Zach might not have been particularly elegant or gracefull by any measure, but he certainly had a good heart...not to mention a way with pok?mon. For all but the practical reasons, they seemed to be more like equals than pets to him. It was amazing, Rai thought for himself as he watched, amazing that everyone couldn't understand that that was the only way things were supposed to be, the right way...
