Least you could do was,like,read the last RP post or something.
But no...

Oooh,and,I gots 30 on Plushie's quizzeh.
I gots the zodiac,on a counting the fact that I'm a rooster too.
Though,I like the refer to the term,chicken,it sounds...cuter!XD

{ooc| It's raining, but the trees are blocking it out.}

Fang had been flying lazily ahead, when the vulpix had leapt at Rai. The zubat had been mapping his and Maxie's paths ahead, avoiding a bug type here or a lone pidgey there. The pair seemed oblivious to the thunder overhead; they trekked onward, heads bowed to the occasonal drops of rain that managed to seep it's way through.

Maxie swivelled, hearing a crash behind her. She narrowed her eyes, struggling to pick out the outlines of the others in the semi-darkness. She had never had good eyesight, but Maxie was too proud to wear glasses.
"Fang? What...?" she truned to her zubat, who was cocking his head.
{Look to your left, Maxie... Rai's found something... a little dog.}
As Maxie turned to look, she caught sight of the little vulpix in Rai's arms - and gave a squeak of delight.
"Oh! A vulpix!" she cooed, clutching her hands to her face, "The poor thing!"
However, she stood firmly rooted to the spot. Fang hovered beside her.
{What's a vulpix?} he asked, cocking his head.
"Wait and see...." she whispered, and pointed in it's direction. Fang glided over, full of curiosity.

"Omigod.. It's raining??!! I hate the rain.. It just make my hair totally wet and..." Silver complained completely forgetting that she's wearing a helmet now.. "My hair will just get so wet and.." Just at this moment Miruka nudged Silver and said.. {Erm.. you're wearing a helmet now.. Your hair won't be wet..} "O.. I clean forgotten about it.."

Yukari stared at the Vulpix that Rai was holding.. {Aww.. that Vulpix is just so adorable.. I would love to make friends with it..} Yukari then flew over to the Vulpix only to find it unconsious.. {Is the Vulpix okay? It looks injured.. I thought I could make another friend now..}

{Not again..} Miruka sighed.. {Talking to unconsious strangers seem like Yukari's number one hobby...}

OOC: Flissie.. Kaika is unconscious. XD

*is waiting for Titan to post*

OOC: Yes, we all love Kaika, don't we? XD Besides, I thought he would suit Rai better than Spark would have, make better sense story-wise too. Sorry for the absence folks, I'm just typing up a huge post in a thread about fossil pok?mon. Come on, I've got to defend Cradily's honour, ne? XD

"I-I have no idea." Rai replied to Kayley's question, looking non-plused as he took another look at the Vulpix in his arms. Despite being soaked and looking extremely exhausted, the litte fire type seemed to be smiling in contentment, it's body held so close against the boy that he could feel a faint increase of warmth from it.

{Master?} Chupon echoed the Vulpix in confusion {I dids not know that Rai had a Vulpix...}

"Yes, we should, shouldn't we?" he asked, snapping back into the present at Jena's question and quickly taking the Revive. He was just about to feed it to the Vulpix when he suddenly though of something. "You guys..." he said, at last, dislodging the backpack from his shoulder and beginning to rumage in it with his free hand while cradling the unconscious fox pok?mon with the other "We need to wrap this poor fellow into something warm first, otherwise it will probably faint while we're still on the road..." he rummaged feverishly in his backpack, suddenly coming across the uniform that he had stashed there. It wasn't maybe the best of materials for keeping out cold and rain, but it was the best he had and he was sure that if he used it up properly, it would be enough to keep the Vulpix safe from the rain.

"Ah, here we are..." he said, discarding the belt from the uniform, which was way too hard, back into the backpack and carefully wrapping the guardsman's jacket around the Vulpix, adding the shirt as well for good measure, until he was satisfied with the result, the fox pok?mon now being safely wrapped up, like people did with small babies, its head poking out from amongst the cloth.

Rai smiled slightly at the result of his work, closing his backpack again and returning it to his shoulder, although he couldn't carry it properly as that would have involved placing the Vulpix down, something he just couldn't bring himself to do.

"Now then." he said, picking up the Revive again and gently placing it in the Vulpix's mouth, "Let's hope this works."

He tilted the fox pok?mon's head upwards a little so that the object fell down its troath. For a moment, nothing seemed to happen, but then, warmth began building up within the fire type, something which Rai could clearly feel even through the cloth, and after a short while, the fox pok?mon's two brown eyes opened up, travelling from Rai, to Fang, who had just approached with a curious look on his face, and then going through every one of the trainer's present, confusion evident on the Vulpix's face.

OCC: Sorry... I'll go edit it.. *edits post*

OOC:

Tee hee, most of you guys still haven't taken me third quizzie.. ^^

Yibber.. You disappoint me so.. Oh.. *sobs*

Kayley couldn't help but smile pleasantly when the Vulpix opened its eyes. They seemed to be filled with utter and total confusion, but they were still very cute nonetheless.

"Come on," She said, once she had gotten over the initial 'OMG IT'S SO CUTE LAWL' stage, "Now we really have to get to Azure Town, get that guy some proper shelter." She said firmly, a feeling of worry working its way into her.

Meanwhile, Fishy had been observing way too silently. Pfft.. I guess randomness is way too popular for me to be the only master.. But! Now that he has joined the game, I guess we may as well see who is the most random in the end.. The Mudkip thought, that glint in his eyes again.

{ooc| Nyeh? *has no idea what Alter was just talking about*}

Fang bobbed up and down in midair, his ears swivelling nearly three-sixty. He longed to know more about the vulpix - he had never seen such a cute, dainty little pokemon before in his life - but he had no idea if it was... safe... Instead, he darted back to Maxie, and landed on her finger. He wrapped his trails around her finger, perhaps a little harder than usual, making Maxie yelp.
"Fang! Don't pinch so!" she scolded.

Maxie smiled at the little fox. "Should we feed her? " she asked Rai quietly. Maxie was still in awe at the pokemon's big brown eyes, button nose and neat, hooded ears.
It was then she noticed what the fox was wrapped up in. Maxie narrowed her eyes, but said nothing. It was a guard uniform, and for a moment, Maxie mistook it for a Rocket's. Then she looked harder... and saw it belonged to the group that had been hindering her own team's invasion of this region for some time. ...What was it called again... Neon Lights?
She glanced to Fang. He was too busy watching the vulpix to notice.

{ooc... I'll continue in a minut,e but what does the uniform look like? similar to a rockets...?}

OOC: It's the guard's uniform that Rai escaped in..

Niah...ish like,just wanting to catch a few more naps,but then, everyone comes in and starts posting.XD

Jena smlied,getting onto her legs again as the Vulpix came round.

{What a poor Vulpix,stranded out here,in this forest.}Ryne rubbed her hands together.Orjen huddled with the Taillow as another clap or thunder sounded.Cascade,still having a Feebas of a time jumping in the many puddles of water could have cared less of the flashes of light.

"The poor guy,come on,"the girl started walking ahead,pushing some tree branches out of her view.Her eyes brightened up before turning around to the rest.

"Look!"she pointed to a town down the road leading out of the forest.

"Great! We're almost there!" Kayley exclaimed, her small smile becoming a grin as Jena pointed out their destination not too far down the road. Not only would a Pokemon Center provide shelter for this Vulpix, but she'd also get to heal that Ghastly, as well as rid her mind of those thoughts that kept nagging her about giving the spirit a name.

{Hey, maybe we can get some smoothies while we're at it!} Fishy exclaimed.

At that comment, Kayley nearly facefaulted, but resisted the urge and began to follow Jena.

"Yay!! We're reaching the town soon!! The first thing we'll do is to take the poor fellow to the Pokemon Center to have it healed.. Then go and grab a bite.. I'm really hungry" Silver exclaimed rubbing her stomach..

{Finally reaching...} Miruka said...

{Doesn't that means that we're nearer to finding Sephy??} Yukari questioned..

OOC: Pwhee! 0% on Plushie's quiz! Honestly, I didn't have a clue about any of those things so I just hit whatever...XD

Oh, and the uniform hasn't been described that well really. Feel free to improvise its appearance. But nope, it ain't a rocket's uniform. Its one that belongs to employees of Geldencross Security Services, a private company hiring out guards to snotty rich people and kind of happens to be run by Rai's mum nowadays. So yeah...XD

IC:

"You're right." Rai replied to Kayley, holding the Vulpix a bit closer to himself to shield it a bit better from the rain. "We need to get this poor thing somewhere warm and dry. Oh, and I think it's a 'he', by the way." he added at Maxie's comment, "Although I think our main concern at the moment should be to get him out of the rain. It's not healthy for fire pok?mon to stay out in the rain."

Kaika remained silent, looking at all these strange people who were smiling at him and talking about his welfare. None of them was his master, he knew it now. The master would never talk like that, never cradle him, the best sign of affection would have been a vague grunt of approval. The fire type found himself struggling between loyalties, should he jump back down and go wait for his trainer at the spot where he left him, or should he go with these nice strangers to a warm, dry place and get fed? The Vulpix curled up a bit closer next to the boy who was holding him, savouring the warmth of his body, oh, if only all decisions were this easy. He could find his way back to the master even if he went with these people, maybe he could persuade them to take him to that big, nice, warm building that the master was always hanging around at?

Chupon peered curiously at the fox pok?mon as they walked, wanting to talk with this strange being whom Rai had suddenly begun liking so much but wanting even more to get out of the rain. Ashura on the other hand observed this newcomer with suspicion, although she had already deemed him not to be a treath. After all, what good was a fire pok?mon in rain? Especially a fire pok?mon that small and puny. It was probably just a stray, a pet who had seemed cute at first but gotten out of hand and been abandoned into the woods to harass passers by. The mantis pok?mon scoffed, her trainer was such a bleedingheart. A trait which she found both admirable and regretable at the same time. But it wasn't her place to argue about this stranger...after all, had she not been in very much the same position when the boy found her? And had he not welcomed her just as warmly?

At Jena's exclamation, Rai hastened his steps a bit, soon spotting the town as well. He had to admit that Azure Town wasn't quite what he had expected it to be. There was no coast to be seen, only a peculiar river that snaked its way down amongest the mountains to the west and through the center of the town, the red brick buildings that made up the most of its architectural gain, arranged in semi-organized clusters with the occasional shop or even factory located in between. The strange thing was that the surroundings of the river seemed to be wrapped in a thick fog, a cloud of steam even, that seemed to intensify ever so slightly with every raindrop that struck the water's surface. As they approached the town, Rai saw that there were small piplines running here and there between the buildings and amongst the streets, some of them dissapearing into houses while others connected to strange, stove-like machines that gave of hissing sounds accompanied by small bursts of heat now and then, located by the city's entrance was a sign;

"Azure Town, a town with a burning passion for progress"

OOC: Ahh...we all love the corny town signs, don't we? XD

OOc-
Oh,I feel good that I got atleast 30 then.XD
Yeah,most of the questions I got correct were just Feebas luck.^^

Ic-
"Well?What are all of you looking at the town for?I for one don't think its one of the prettiest things I've seen.Why,even the Mareep back home are better than this,all the pollution."the girl waved her hand,trying to blow away the stench of the gases coming from the many buildings.

"Pollution."she shuddered,before running towards the town.

"Don't tell me you're all just going to stand and stare at the town."she sighed,turning around and waiting for the rest to catch up.

{I'll see you guys later.}the Tailow chirped,upon seeing angry expressions on both her parents faces as they looked down on her from the branches of the tree.The Tailow gulped,before flying back up.

{Bye!!}Cascade smiled,jumping into the puddles on the road as he ran after his trainer.Ryne and Orjen following shortly after.

OOC: Yibber! It ain't polluted! Stop twisting my creation! >.<

Ooc-
I knows!Jena was just saying that since she doesn't get out of her wonderfully home which has no gases and all that.XD
She isn't exactly one who worships gases,geez.XD
Rai or someone could correct her on that.

OOC:

Kayley, much like Rai, had been slightly surprised at the sight of Azure Town as they moved onward. It seemed to be dominated by a peculiar river that sprung many questions into her head, but she decided that the main priority now was to get to the Pokemon Center, not ponder about the town river.

Ignoring the corny sign, she sweeped through the immediate area with her eyes, and instantly she spotted the tell-tale red roof of the Pokemon Center, which was a lot brighter than the dim red of the brick buildings.

"Over there!" She shouted over the rain, pointing with one hand as she clung to her trumpet's black case tightly again, once they had left the shelter of the forest canopy.

Fishy seemed to have returned to reality, scoffing at the humans' obvious distaste for the rain. {Nothin' wrong with rain, you sissies.. That guy has a reason to not like it, but everyone else.. Pfft.} He said, referring to the Vulpix.

Apparently he hadn't noticed that quite some time had passed since everyone else had gotten over the rain..

Rai was quick to follow Jena, shrugging at her comment about the town. "You know..." he said, sniffing the air and failing to catch any downright unpleasant smells, "I don't think it's pollution...it doesn't smell the part. It smells more like...steam." he shrugged again, there were far more important issues at hand than Jena's view on what was and wasn't pollution right now.

At Kayley's comment, the boy looked up, spotting the brigh red roof that did, indeed, stick out from the other buildings in town with its bright colouring, not to mention being slightly taller than the other structures. With the Vulpix still securely cradled in his arms, Rai set out into a half-sprint, soon approaching the door of the pok?mon center. Ashura followed shortly after, not feeling like she wanted to comment on anything at the moment and therefore remaining silent. She didn't like rain, all the noise and motion it caused made it difficult to spot prey...or predators.

{I don't mind rain.} Chupon protested, shivering slightly in the breeze as he followed the others {It's the thunder that bothers me.}

"Gah.. Wait up.." Kayley muttered slightly before jogging after Rai, not really wanting to comment on pollution anyway. Fishy, still perched on his usual spot, glanced down at Chupon.

{Thunder bothers you, eh? I'll remember that.} Fishy said, grinning wickedly before his expression returned to his normal, obliviously happy one.

It wasn't long before the Pokemon Center was near, and Kayley came to a halt, breathing just a bit deeper than before because the case was actually a lot of weight to bear while running.

"Fishy.. You should get in your Pokeball now.. The Nurse inside the Pokemon Center will heal you." She said, mustering phrases inbetween breaths.

{I'm not that tired..} Fishy retorted, attempting to hide any signs of fatigue that he may have been showing. {But whatever.}

With that, the Mudkip hopped off of Kayley's shoulder and onto the ground, where she was free to recall him back into his Pokeball.
