"Gwendolyn..." the nurse replied with gritted teeth at Silver's question, her patience for people calling her by the wrong name growing ever thinner and the lousy weather and late hour certainly not helping matters, "My name is Gwendolyn." her later statement seemed to be directed at the world in general rather than anyone in particular as she stalked of into the back room with the two last pok?balls. Each step she took on the stone floor resounding in a slightly treathening manner.

Rai looked up, sighing and shaking his head. That was one ill-tempered nurse...he was too well raised to comment out loud on it, though, prefering to join into the other parts of the conversation instead

"I third that motion." Rai commented at Kayley's suggestion of how to spend what little remained of the day. "The weather is too awful for us to go anywhere anyhow, and most places are probably closed at this hour regardless." he leaned back in his chair just a little, feeling a quite considerable complaint of hunger in his stomach, but no matter, he could bear it until tommorow. At Jena's comment, the boy looked up in a slightly quizzical manner.

"Hope?" he echoed, confused by the girl's words and troubled expression, "Hope what?"

Oooh..touchy,touchy Gwendolyn.XD

Ic-
The girl raised one eyebrow at Gwendolyn as she proceeded to heal their pokemon.Boy,was she one touchy nurse.Did all the pokemon centers always have these types of people?Jena wondered.

"Hope?Hope,what?"
"Eh?!"the girl leapt back in surprise as Rai looked up.Had the boy heard what she was saying?
Geez,she HAD to stop talking to herself.

"Hope...hope that the Mareep are fine without me.I mean,Papa's great and all,but,he's not the brightest.Thinking Mareep eat trees.And Mama,she's one of the best.But,she always forgets important stuff,let feeding them and,she's so strict.I won't be surprised if the poor Mareep get scared out of their wool."she laughed nervously.
"Atleast we don't need to sheer them this time...."she added,giving the boy a weak smile.

The girl bit her lip,her eyes darting around,looking for something to bring the conversation away...
Which was answered by an audible growl from her stomach.Jena blushed before turning to the rest.

"Anyone else,other than me who's hungry?"she asked.

Rai nodded at Jena's explanation. It wasn't all that convincing but the boy was feeling too tired and hungry to argue about it, after all, her parents probably just had some embarassing jobs which she wanted to know or something. Jena really didn't seem like the kind of girl who'd go and do something downright bad. Heck, she seemed to be physically incapable of doing as much as placing an elbow on the table, something which reminded Rai surprisingly much of his own manner. Had Jena been taught these things too? She did act with the proper manners, even if the elegance was somewhat lacking. Perhaps she was a middle class girl whose parents wanted to use her to climb up the social ladder? Yes, that would make sense...but why did she react so...rashly to his question?

"Oh, I see." Rai replied, nodding "Yes, I take it the shearing is pretty hard work, eh?" he shrugged "I wouldn't know, though, seeing as how I've yet to see a single ranch in my life." he let out a small sigh, leaning back again. Sometimes he really hated his cloistered upbringing, never having seen and felt all these things that normal people got to experience all the time.

The boy smiled a bit at the sound of Jena's rumbling stomach and her consequent suggestion.

"I am." he replied, "But where are we going to get food this late?"

"I'm sure Fishy would happily find us a smoothie stand.." Kayley said in response to Rai, sighing at the fact that what she said was probably true. She paused. "Um, wait.. Jena, your father thinks Mareep eat trees?" She said, raising an eyebrow.

"Excuse me!" Nurse Gwendolyn exclaimed, her voice still tainted with aggravation. "All of the Pokemon you've given me in Pokeballs have been fully healed." She paused to gesture to the metal tray she had just placed on the counter, which held Mess', Chupon's, Ashura's, Fishy's, Razz', Hazy's, Cascade's, Ryne's, and Orjen's, Miruka's, and Yukari's Pokeballs. Woo, long list.

"The Vulpix will need a bit more time." She finished in a huff, turning a way and stomping off towards the back room. She just wanted to get away from these people before they made another mistake.

"Well.. Okay then.." Kayley stated, getting up from her seat and striding over to the counter, retrieving Fishy's, Razz', and Hazy's Pokeballs from the metal tray and placing them in her bag, not wanting to sleep with them on her belt.

Once that was done, she quickly returned to her seat, taking her sling bag off and placing it on the table. She decided to do the same with her trumpet's case, placing it next to her bag.

"Are we still talking about getting food? Or can we just go to sleep?" Kayley asked, eyelids drooping. She was obviously more sleepy than hungry.

OOC:

Eh.. Just wanted to move along.. ^^;;;;;

If Gwen (XD) is one of your official chars and I did something wrong, give me a holler. X3

{ooc| Yes, Mel, I cried when Digory died. How could someone so handsome just.... die like that? *sob* But no one wolf-whistled. We are the civilised British, when we attend the theatre it is a respectfull affair. *BIGLIEPLZ* They didn't do the scene at the end with the animagi, either... I mean, how's that gonna work in the next book?

I have my own GBA, it's old and the screen has a big hole in it because when I went mountain climbing I put it in my bag...and then I found some pretty rocks... which also went in my bag... KASMASH! I also ruined my camera... so I bought a sexy new digital one! I don't like it, though.. it's really weird and hard to judge the zoom... *misses her old one which was ten years old* ;;}

Maxie yawned. "I'm not hungry... " she told the group, despite the fact that she looked like she hadn't eaten in years. "Though...I am pretty sleepy." she finally admitted.

Fang raised his eyebrow. What was Maxie saying? Letting her guard down? Man, these kids must be special... He heard the sound on pokeball hitting the counter, and he turned to see nurse-who-is-not-Joy placing Mess' and Minera's balls, along with the others, on the counter. He fluttered over and picked both up, one in his mouth, the other in his two tails, and dropped them back in Maxie's lap.

She smiled at her pokemon, and he sat on her knee, if not slightly stiffly. Maxie leant back, feeling very much confortable here. Fang had stopped sulking - thank the Lord - and the people that were around her... weren't scary. She reclipped the balls to her back pocket, and put her hands behind her head.

{ooc| Edit, mo' fo'! Sorry, I'm a lazy foo today.}

OOC: Fuu... I wanted to see the Sphinx too! ;_; And yes, Neville gave Harry the gillyweed. Though I can't imagine how he stole it from Professor Snape's office when he's utterly terrified of the guy. -_-

Oh yeah! I forgot about the Triwizard prize money! They didn't show that did they? Well that was stupid... I guess they'll have to show it in the next movie... *rolls eyes*

And how is Hermione going to blackmail Rita Skeeter into interviewing Harry in the next year if she never figures out she's an animagus?? *dies*

Oh well... I could go on, but I have a paper to write. So, yeah, this shall be a short post. ^-^;

Zachary
===========

"Hi Mom," Zachary said after his mother had answered the phone, "Thought I'd call to say hi."

"Oh Zack! I'm so glad to hear you're all right! How's Ron?" she asked, her voice sounding tired yet happy. She looked as if she had been a bit stressed without him at home.

"Ron's okay, he's right here," he replied, pointing to his little Aron. Ron waved happily, this was cheering him up.

Zachary's mother smiled, "Well, have you done anything exciting yet?"

"Not really... well, I did catch another pokemon, a Zigzagoon... though she's not that fond of me yet," he said with a smile to himself. Luka's ears perked up and she took a few steps over to them, but kept her distance.

"Oh, I just love Zigzagoon, they're very cute. They're also very smart pokemon... though not many people know that," his mother replied.

At this, Zachary's tone got a bit more serious, "Mom... you tell me if anything goes wrong, okay? I don't want you thinking that you're going to bother me, or jeapordize my journey or something. Okay?"

His mother nodded.

"And don't worry about me, I've got some friends that I'm traveling with, so there's no need to worry. We've all signed up for the league, and we all decided to help rescue Maxie's, one of the girls, pokemon Sephy," he said to her.

She nodded, feeling happy that at least he wasn't alone. Hopefully they were better friends than his first ones. She suddenly raced from the screen.

"Mom?"

"Sorry honey, I just remembered I got something for you! I had to go find it... hold on," she said, with sounds of rumaging in the background, "Ah! Here it is, I know you'll love it. It can go right on your pack's zipper." She placed it into the small transport system often used between phones to transfer pokemon and items into a PC. She transferred it, and Zachary recieved it. He then accessed his PC and got it off.

With a flash of light a small keychain appeared. A keychain that was shaped like one of Zachary's favorite pokemon; Celebi. Ron smiled at Zachary. Those keychains and other such things were novelty items, but Zachary had always liked the little legendary. The stories behind the pokemon all enthralled him as a child, and he smiled back at his mother as he told her he'd better go and hung up.

He stuck the keychain on his pack's zipper, and walked back over to the others.

OOC: Okay... that was longer than planned. XD My PAPER! Oh, Alter, I have a question. These people do know about Celebi and Mew, correct? I mean, they just think of them as legendary pokemon that are pretty much just old legends of the past, right? Because otherwise I'd better edit my post... ^^;

OOC: Eh, movie spoilers galore...I should probably avert my eyes or I'll see the whole thing summarized before I even get a chance to watch for myself. XD

And nope, despite her name Gwendolyn isn't that special as characters go, so I suppose you're free to control her. Although only if necessary of course.

Oh yean, Melissa, Charon, I've got a little secret of this RP that you two should know. Will send it to you by PM soonishly, so make sure you've got room in your inboxes.

Anyhow, concerning that secret...*Looks at Melissa's last post* Dang, I wish I had known that a bit earlier, might have infulenced my choice.

IC:

"Oh, thank you." Rai replied to nurse Gwendolyn as she announced that all pok?mon except for the Vulpix were healed and ready. The boy would have asked if the fox pok?mon was going to be okay, but the nurse had already stormed of before he even managed to begin phrasing himself so Rai decided to drop it, doubting that she would be pleased about him interrupting her work further and not feeling like it would be appropriate of him to bother her. The boy walked over to the tray with the pok?balls instead, quickly deducing which two of them were his. It wasn't a hard process really, considering that mother had insisted that even the pok?balls of the LeBlaque family should be nothing short of the best, although these weren't Luxury Balls by any measure, for Isabel considered things like pok?mon comfort trivial pieces of semantic nonsense, but there seemed to be a distinct sheen to them, a certain artistic value in their shapes, and, to top it all, a slightly more advanced locking mechanism. The boy had to admit being a bit embarassed about all the fuss that such small things stirred, at the moment he would really have prefered if his pok?balls were exactly the same mass-produced junk as everybody else's, but alas, it was not to be.

Rai weighed both the pok?balls in his hand for a moment, trying to determine wether it would be good to let his two pok?mon out again at such a late hour and eventually deciding against it, clipping both of his pok?balls onto his belt and walking back to the others. Chupon was exhausted from their day of travelling, and Ashura...well, if Fishy was going to come back out, which Rai somehow suspected that he would, then it would probably not be the best for the Scyther's already rather worn nerves. This day they had met more people than ever before, and one or two suspicious looking strangers were usually enough to ruin the mantis pok?mon's mood. But then again...she might take offence if he didn't let her perform her self-appointed duty of protecting him.

"Come on out Ashura." Rai said, releasing the bug type from its pok?ball before returning the, now empty, container to his belt. As she came back out, the Scyther performed a quick scan of the area, not noticing any real treaths, despite the foul look that she cast at the boy who still seemed to be busy with rounding up one of his missing Oddishes, which apparently deemed this the ideal time to play hide-and-seek and had crammed itself in between the wall and a nearby sofa to escape its trainer's grasp.

{Unruly children...} Ashura groaned quietly, her voice sounding slightly tired.

"Oh come on Ashu..." Rai said, shaking his head and slowly stroking the mantis pok?mon's head "Live and let live."

The boy returned to his seat, the mantis pok?mon settling down beside him in her usual alert way, seemingly unbothered by how long they had been up.

As Zachary finished his call and turned back to the others, Rai quickly spotted the new accessory that his friend had gained.

"Nice key chain." he said, nodding "So, how is your mother doing?". Rai was a bit hesitant to ask this question at first, after all, he had only known Zach for roughly a day now, so maybe it was a bit odd of him to start inquiring about his family already, but on the other hand, it was, in some circles, considered common courtesy to ask things like that, although Rai's question was perhaps one of honest curiosity rather than merely polite interest. He had often wondered what it felt like to have a mother whom you could actually call and talk with about other things than duty and training, one who actually acted...well, motherly. And by the sound of it, Zach's mum was just that kind of person.

{ooc| I'm assuming Zach spoke to his Mum on one of those tv-phones they have int he pokemon series, right?}

OOC: Yeah, he did. Erm...I think anyway. o_O

{ooc| secret PM? *shifty look*
I'm reading a book called 'Pet Sematary' right now. It's really, really fascinating...can't put it down. *is currently holding it as she types* ^^;;;}

Maxie smiled at Zach. "Your Mum seems nice; is it just you and her?" she asked. She knew enough about people to know men and women didn't stay married for long. Mrs. Kosloski used to be a permanent feature on her daily scenario, and if someone had told her three years ago that the bustling, bodacious women would leave her foster father, she would have laughed in their face. The Kosloskis were passionate about their work, and their work had been Maxie. Then the cracks started to show, and she left... It was weird to think that she mourned when the pair split, when together they had terrorised and terrified her for years... Maxie smiled sadly to herself.

She watched as Rai collected his balls. Wow... she thought, Rai really is one lucky kid... she grabbed Mess' ball, and eyed it suspiciously. She even rubbed it - gently, so not to jar the rather tempermental catch - on her dungerees, but it still remained as scuffed and as dirty as ever. She didn't know whether pokeballs could be transferred or not; she hoped so, because hers were already bursting as the seams.

Fang flinched visibly as Ashu reappeared, and Fang ducked behind Maxie's stubby, identical plaits. The scyther was a ferocious beast, and the way she eyed the boy and his oddishes... it made him shudder, just thinking of what horror Ashu could wreak on those defenceless little vegetables.

The boy, meanwhile, was struggling to return them all to their balls; every time he put a two away, and went to catch two more, the other two would scramble over and pop the switch.

OOC: Heh, yeah, it was one of those video-phone things. I should have described it better, but I had a 5 pages to write on a book and I was in hurry... ^-^'

Ooh... secrets that poor Charon and I were left in the dark about? You meanies!!! You were just planning on laughing at us as you watched Charon and I grab hopelessly for the secrets of the plot, weren't you?! XD

I look forward to the PM. Uh... hopefully my keychain didn't do anything...? o.O *shrugs*

Zachary
============

Zachary eyed his new keychain at Rai's comment. "I've always liked Celebi. It's a cool pokemon. I wouldn't want to catch it though if it were real... I think those legend pokemon should all stay legends. All of the mystery and beauty would be gone if some nobody caught one. That's no fun," he said, holding the little grass pokemon's form in his hand. Rai and Maxie then spoke up about his mother.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, it's just the two of us. My Mom's alright," Zachary said as he plopped down into the wicker chair again, "She just worries too much though. 'Course, I am her only child, so I guess it makes sense."

Ron nodded, stopping next to a grumpy-looking Luka.

"I promised her I'd call her as much as possible, for the benefit of both her and me. You see, I don't exactly live in the best area, and I think that I should check up on Mom every now and then. Plus she's got this new boyfriend that I want to keep an eye on. She doesn't have the best taste in guys; after all she picked out my Dad, and he left as soon as she became pregnant with me," he said, smiling about it. He could smile about it because it never really bothered him. His father was something he never needed, nor cared to know about. He had occasionally wondered about his father, but his mother had enough love to go around, and compared to many other children of the area, he was lucky to have one good parent.

Ron nodded again, {Zack's Mom is really nice. I always liked her. I really wish they had more money or a better life; they deserve it.}

Snorting with annoyance, Luka was about to say something, but after spying Ashura, she closed her mouth. That large pokemon still made the feeling of fear creep up around her, and she knew better than to provoke the Scyther again.

"So are we getting to sleep then?" Zachary asked, suddenly feeling the day's work lagging on him.

OOC: Oh... and sorry Alter about the movie spoilers! ^^; Aside from the problems though, it really is an awesome movie! I truly enjoyed it. The ending was great in my opinion.

"Yeah,sheering's hard,but fun too!Especially when papa thinks that the wool is cotton candy,yeah,poor mama."Jena laughed,it had happened before,when her family ordered Mareep wool for warmth during the colder times of the year.
"Yup,papa thinks that Mareeps eat trees,and that shoe salesmen are evil."she nodded at Kayley's statement.
"Like I said,not the brightest,but one of the greatest dads' I've been so lucky to have."the girl reached out to take Cascade,Ryne and Orjen's pokeballs.

She held the pokeballs infront of her,looking closer to see if its occupants were well enough to come out.But,Jena supoosed that it would've been better to let them out in the room.The girl had taken note to sleep with her pokemon every night.

"I guess we'll have to hold out until tomorrow morning....unless,anyone here really needs food."she suggested,before turning to see that Zach had made his way back,along with a shiny new keychain on his pack.As the boy said he had been told stories about the Legendaries.Jena mentally sighed,thinking about her own mother now.Sure,she was unfair at times,but the girl knew she meant well.It was just that,she could never understand.
But,for you to call your mother everyday,just to check if the other party's fine,not caring about the other duties which seemed 'important'.
Wow,it was just,wow,to the girl.

OOC:

That's much better, Yibber. >D

Anyways.. Zack likes Celebi?

...You make Plushie feel guilty... XD

IC:

Kayley thought in silence for a while, taking in the events of the last several moments, as well as the shiny new keychain that Zack had recieved from his mother, which was pretty obvious because he hadn't had it before he went to talk to her. But now that he had given them some inside info, she chose to comment on that instead.

"It's great.. That you look out for your Mom like that. But yeah, I for one vote sleep. I guess we'll see how that Vulpix does in the morning, hm?"

Speaking of that Vulpix made her wonder how her own Pokemon were doing, in their Pokeballs and all. She was sure that Razz would want to come out soon -- the poor Ponyta had been in there way too long. Surely she would've popped out on her own by now.. Maybe self-discipline or something made her stay inside.. Bleh, Kayley didn't want to think about such things so close to bed-time. She'd let her Pokemon out for some fresh air in the morning.

But she couldn't help feeling guilty for keeping them in there..

At this point, Kayley's head began to ache with a headache at its finest.

"Me too,I'm too sleepy to eat anyway."Jena covered her mouth with one hand as she yawned.Clipping the pokballs in her hands onto her wristbands,her pokemon didn't mind being kept in their pokeballs.Even though she herself strongly agreed with keeping them out most of the time.But,at this late hour,the girl simply shrugged the idea out of her mind.
Then,she noticed Kayley.
The girl looked like she had a headache or something.Jena wasn't an expert,but she could tell.

"Hey,Kayley.You okay there?"she asked.

"Eh.. It feels like I'm getting a headache.. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll go away once I get some sleep." Kayley replied, rubbing at her temples to ease the slight pain that she had brought down upon herself.

Okay.. That's just lame.. Who the heck gets headaches by thinking about whether or not to let their Pokemon out of their balls? Gah, I'm the definition of lame.. Kayley thought to herself, sighing.

"As soon as Nurse Gwendolyn calls lights out, I'll be happy to oblige.." She stated, resisting the urge to collapse completely onto the love seat she was on right there and then.

"Well,if you're sure."Jena told Kayley.

To think,that just by travelling,one could get a headache.The girl sighed.
---

"So you say our daughter has finally decided to run away?"Jendo Minane paced around his wife's office,scratching his chin.
He was a Blackbelt,wearing the usual attire one would.A red band on his head,that white suit and a black-colored belt.His hair was rather short,though it bore a resembleance to a certain Jena.

Zhena nodded her head,choosing to keep quiet so as to hear what he had to say next.

"Finally!"he suddenly burst out load,causing Zhena to sweatdrop.She whacked her husband hard on the head with one hand.

"You knew she was going to run away?!"a fierce expression on her face.

"Well,it was a little obvious.I mean,if I were in her blackbelt.I'd have run away from home a long time ago.I don't see how she managed to take it for so long."he said honestly,only to cause Zhena's sweatdrop to turn bigger.

"That's not the point here,the point is,we find her before she gets herself into trouble."the woman waved her hands,showing that she wanted to get off the current subject.

"So,where do you think she's headed?"she opened a drawer from her desk,taking out a piece of worn out parchment.
She lay it infront of Jendo and herself,it was the map of Showgan,a really old map to be exact.

"I do remember her saying she liked her practices,maybe,she could be at the Minane Pokemon Training School?"Jendo suggested.

A visible vein appeared on Zhena's forehead,she instinctevly rolled up the map and used it to whack him hard.

"How many times do I have to remind you?!We are in the Minane Academy!And,she was lieing when she told you she liked her practices!"she yelled uncontrollably.Jendo merely tilted his head.

"Oh,yes,quite right!"he grinned sheepishly,Zhena merely handed him the map,maintaining the angry look on her face.

"How about those pokemon contests she always rambles on about?"
