2nd Gen Shuckie the Shuckle

In the Johto games, if you enter a house in Cianwood City, a Pokemaniac named Kirk will let you borrow his Shuckle because he's afraid of it getting stolen by your rival, whom stole a Pokémon from him just prior. It will act like a traded Pokémon in battle, and it will not have your ID number. Eventually, after awhile, he will ask you to give it back, but if you have high enough friendship with it, he'll let you keep it.

Did you take the Shuckle from Kurt? Did you bother to return it? I never do.

Idk, the guy seemed nice. I returned Shuckie. He was holding a mail or berry if I remember correctly. I thought you HAD to return him or something bad would happen in the game. Uh...oops.

He was holding Berry Juice, actually.

In Gen. II I clone it then I return one copy of it to the original owner, and I keep the second for me.

I returned the Pokemon to its owner in the Gen II games, but not in the remakes since I never got the Pokemon from the kid in the first place. I already had my own, so I never bothered to.
