Skymin, Scizor, and Deoxys can go to Uber now for all I care. The way people abuse them these days in platinum is pretty pathetic. I made a team that doesn't include these beasts and can still do some damage- as well as counter Shuckmonlee.

    Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
    Jolly/ Nature
    252 Atk/252 Spe/ 6 HP

    Stone Edge
    Fire Fang
    Earthquake
    Stealth Rock

I made this set while testing around my monotype team, and it worked pretty well for me, destroying at least a third of the opponents team before going down.

    Machamp @ Leftovers
    Adamant Nature- No Guard
    252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 6 Spe

    Dynamic Punch
    Rest
    Stone Edge
    Sleep Talk

Standard Rest Talk champ. Stone Edge to hit more things than I usually would, including Skymin, Scizor, and the flying dragons.

    Salamence @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature
    252 Spa/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
    Draco Meteor
    Fire Blast
    Hydro Pump
    Dragon Pulse

SpecsMence hurts a lot, which isn't what most people think. Fire Blast for floaty steels that think I'm going to EQ, Hydro Pump is designed to kill Tran and Mamo, and Dragon Pulse/Meteor hurts as a stab.

    Kingdra @ Leftovers/ Salac Berry/ Leichi Berry
    Adamant Nature
    252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

    Dragon Dance
    Outrage
    Waterfall
    Substitute

This Kingdra has the ability to destroy. I'm not sure whether I want Lefites for recovery, Salac for speed, or Leichi for a better attack.

    Heatran @ Choice Scarf
    Timid Nature
    252 Spa/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

    Fire Blast
    Earth Power
    HP Ice
    Toxic

My main revenge killer, Scarf Tran comes in to kill and destroy. Toixc wears down waters.

    Magnezone @ Life Orb
    Modest Nature- MagnetPull
    252 Spa/ 140 Def/ 118 SpDef

    Discharge
    Flash Cannon
    HP Ice
    Signal Beam/ Magnet Rise

I chose Magnezone because of its bulk at defense. 130 base Sp. Atk. also can give some murder as well. Discharge for parahax, Flash Cannon for STAB, HP Ice to hit grounds and dragons, and either Signal Beam for more coverage, or Magnet Rise to stop EQ users.

No Rock resist (do not say Hitmonlee) thus it'll be really hard to stop a DD Tyranitar in late game. Replace Hitmonlee with something better, even if it's Hitmontop (to fix that TTar problem)

Or you could just use Mach Punch on Hitmonlee =). Use it >> Fail Blaze Kick.

Speaking of fail why are you using Confuse fail, utter trash, noob of a move, garbage Ray on Gengar =p? Thats an infractable offense. Hypnosis please or Focus Blast so at least t-tar doesnt get a free switch in.

You're copying me like.... waaaaay too much.

And shut up, D_A. Blaze Kick OHKOs Breloom. >:<

Lol Vance, Hitmonlee outspeeds TTar and OHKOs with CC. But, I agree, if Ttar has already set up, not even Lee can stop it.

I personally can not see what Aerial Ace is doing on Aerodactyl. Flying has rather weak coverage, Fire or Ice Fang will be better here. Jolly nature.

Do you even know just how bad Confuse Ray is? Lacking Focus Blast is bad too. Lose HP Ice and Confuse Ray for Focus Blast and Hypnosis.

Don't see the point of Return on Kingdra.

I prefer Choice Band, Hitmonlee is frail enough here, Mach Punch over Blaze Kick, CB Mach Punch is more useful as proven from testing.
    --------------------------------
Tyranitar weak here, DDTar is the most severe problem. A decent Rock resist would help you here, heck, bulky Hitmontop over Hitmonlee would do.

And yeah, Hitmonlee can REALLY switch into Tar eh with 50/53 defences eh?

    Sorry about the plagiarism, Mobile.

Based on comments here, it seems that no one likes sets I make :( I'm probably going to get a new special sweeper over Gar that can have some bulk, since Tran is here for R-Killing already. Maybe SpecsMence? *shot* For now, I'm changing Gengar around to SpecsDuggy to SpecsOven, see how that does.

Tyranitar isn't proving to put up much of a ifght, since I usually get Kingdra DDing off before Tar can even think about battling and come in.

Typhlosion, Return is on Kingdra To provide a great coverage amount, as it along with Outrage and Waterfall hits everything beisdes that annoying armored penguin. Life Orb Hitmonlee works beter for me because I hate getting locked in to moves unless I need the choice item to do things. In this case, Lee does not need a CHoice Band IMO. However, i do want to give you props for pointing out AA. Until Game Freak comes up with a 90+ base power flying move that Aero canlearn that doesn't waste a turn, Aerial Ace is STAB, which isn't o great. I'll go with Fire Fang to annoy Zong and Scizor leads, which i've been seeing recently.

On a happier note, Sims actually won't murder me for this team. :)

But WHAT is Return hitting Waterfall and Outrage aren't?

Nothing. The days of Return are basically long gone. I'd suggest Substitute > Return so it cannot become the victim of status and such.

And shut up, D_A. Blaze Kick OHKOs Breloom. >:<

Like breloom is going to switch in or can take a Close Combat regardless. Also iirc it only has 10 more BP than Close Combat even when SE. It also has poor coverage otherwise.

But WHAT is Return hitting Waterfall and Outrage aren't?

Well it allows you to combat bulky waters easier without getting locked into Outrage foolishly early game thus limiting revenge kills, but i see what you mean. Not like much can revenge a Kingdra regardless lol.

I didnt mean switch into t-tar, i mean revenge kill it with Mach punch. However looking at this team again it does need a solid rock resist(which Hitmonlee IS NOT) so Hitmontop or another bulky fighter would work better in that aspect. To help with said tar.

I feel Vileplumes slot could be put to better use aswell ...

Which Bulky Waters are going to try to take on Kingdra anyway?

Plus you're just making Tyranitar switch out after a kill, so it can end something, you switch in Hitmonlee, it switches out, rinse and repeat.

    Like I said, Hitmontop>Lee

I'm using Plume as a cleric. Since he doesn't epically fail at defense like Bliss does, i prefer him. However, I am considering a support Dragonite: Roost/Heal Bell/ Safeguard or Toxic/ Dragon Claw over him.

Everyone's been complaining about a Fighting resist, so I'm thinking of one of the following:

    Breloom @ Toixc Orb
    Adamant Nature
    252 Atk/ 180 SPe/ 72 HP
    Spore
    Stone Edge
    Mach Punch
    Seed Bomb

    or:

    Machamp @ Choice Band
    Adamant Nature
    252 Atk/ 252 Hp/ 6 Spe(Yes, I fail at EVs)

    Close Combat
    Stone Edge
    Payback
    Ice Punch

Still looking for a special sweeper as well.

On kingdra, Typhlo does have a point, I agree. I'm considering either running a mixed set with HP Electric to stop bulky waters, or go with Leftovers and Sub, as Vance suggested(not the lefites part) I don't want life orb due to the amount of recoil that and sub damage gives me in hp amount.

Sub with Leichi berry could be VERY interesting lol.

Also "Bliss epically fail defense" allows it to take physical hits as good as a max hp scizor =).

Clerics waste turns and are set up fodder hence why people dont use them. Rest talk machamp will make it so you have a status absorber so you dont need a cleric >>>Hitmonlee.

Then you have one more slot to play with since you wont need Plume anymore.

As for that Aero you still wont stop Azelf setting Rocks up so that kinda defeats the purpose of hitting it lol. With a Sash you might aswell use Stealth Rock and Taunt >> Fire Fang and crunch and convert it to the standard suicide lead.

This would then give you a slot to play with on Heatran (due to it not needing SR anymore since its now on aero). Im really partial to Toxic or Will-o-Wisp. Since people are adamant in switching bulky waters into it and it wears them down which makes me feel all like :t360: <--Sorry, im using these from now on lol.

    EDIT : -

Everyone's been complaining about a Fighting resist, so I'm thinking of one of the following:

And its a ROCK resist that you need for T-Tar (which means a FIGHTING pokemon). Not a fighting resist since Rotom Heat form is a fighting immunity X).

Lolwut? Neither of those are a fighting resist. Technically, Vileplume is one, but it's not exactly a Physical Wall.

lol, meant rock. too many comments about the same thing melted my brain into scrap metal.

D_A, you mean Machamp over Plume, since i don't need a cleric, rite? And Oventom is just in there till i find a better special sweeper.

Toixc on Heatran sounds good with suicide Aero, I kind of want to keep Fire Fang on there though to stop Scizor.

EDIT: After testing out the team on Shoddy tonight, I found that i have a Heracross weak, and that Oventom is dead weight. To help with the problem, I am bringing in a SpecsMence.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh Modest SpecsMence will outspeed Jolly Heracross all of the time. Timid makes SpecsMence a waste - use Modest.

Remove Hitmonlee or Machamp. One will do (and I'd keep Machamp for Tyranitar).

Thanks for the help on Mence. Rlly, i would ignore Lee's slot right now, treat it as empty. I'm looking for a good physical sweeper to take his place. I'm considering Timid CB Dugy, however.

    Salamence @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature
    252 Spa/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
    HP Flying
    Fire Blast
    Hydro Pump
    Dragon Pulse

    Kingdra @ Leftovers/ Salac Berry/ Leichi Berry
    Adamant Nature
    252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

    Dragon Dance
    Outrage
    Waterfall
    Substitute
First of all, change Dragon pulse with DMeteor.(Your opinion Dude.) It hurts bad as STAB.
Your Kingdra is damn Adamant, why can't I see Phyz moves on it? I see 2 Spec. moves which aren't good for it's nature.(Adamant-+ATT. -SPATT.)-Right?
    Sub on Kingdra is genius!

Bulky Heracross would be a good PS for ya' (Jolly nature is preferred in my book.)
    But Dugtrio is fast...
    Your Ops. Dude.

Outrage and Waterfall are physical =/.

EDIT : Hidden power Flying is utter garbage on specs mence and so is your reasoning for using it since Flamethrower/F-Blast OHKO Heracross. Dragon Pulse/Draco meteor/Fire Blast/Hydro pump or hp ground please.

I don't see a single special move on Kingdra.

Indeed. And send me the half that has my keys.

Bulky Machamp laughs in the face of Tyranitar, and Kingdra does not NEED a special move. Waterfall/Outrage/DD/Sub wreck most things Garchomp-style anyway, bulky waters not named Dragon Pulse Milotic during sleep get owned by it.

    Specsmence has DracoMeteor/DragonPulse/HydroPump/Flamethrower
Its all it ever needed. HP Ground is overrated. Heatran is never used much to counter it and you are giving half the metagame a text saying ''Z0MG FR33 5W1TCH 1N N0W!!!1!''
