    Kimiko! Thank goodness you edited your short intro in quickly. I was worried you were gonna screw yourself on your first step here! But that's okay now.

    Welcome to the PokéCommunity forums! Or as the regulars call it, PC! This place is gonna blow your mind, I swear. And I know that, from my first impression of you in Showdown to me recommending that you go here haha. First up, do NOT be intimidated. This place runs on fun, not nerves! The best few places to visit would be the following:

    The forum-wide rules, which I mentioned in our chat in PS, and this one is probably the most important, because it's gonna veer you off some troubles you might encounter! I mean you almost forgot to include an actual intro here, right? Those minor flubs will be history if you follow the stuff you'll see right there. There are also stickied local rules for every sub-forum atop its page, so you might want to check those out too!

    The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) which houses a lot of stuff that's not particularly obvious if you're new to forums. It also has lots of useful stuff for PC so it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

    The New Users' Hangout! Best place to get to know members new and old. I mean, it would suck if you only talked to me, right? Hahaha. Another place here in NU/W would be the Adoption Center, a helpful thread for newbies! You'll get to have your personal mentor guiding you throughout your early days (like what I'm doing rn, but more long term). Lastly, our friendly NU/W elf/sheep/mod Cirno has a handy-dandy set of links for you that will help you heaps!

    Apart from that, it's a free for all! Just look at what interests you, check for the stickies to see if there are local rules you must follow, and post ahoy. So that's how I'll answer your first question, lol. As for your second, just know that life is good.     Hi Kimiko, and welcome to PC.

    I know how intimidated you feel, but I was once like that too when I joined back in 2011. I see you've already been to our Pokemon Showdown server, I happen to have been hanging out there lately, still yet to have an actual battle since the chat feature distracted me a lot.

    Your thread was almost not an intro when I saw it, glad to see you haven't screwed up on your first official day as a PC member. I've been here for 21 months now and I'm approaching my 2nd anniversary in March next year.

    Cid has probably got most of NU/W covered for you, but are there any other sections you are interested in hanging out in? I happen to be in a lot of boards, despite initially joining for the Pokemon game discussions. I surely have come a long way from there, and I eventually became a PC Supporter in October this year.

    Hey hey Kimiko, a big welcome to PC! Nice to see you become a member. Reiko is pretty cute, but I admit I am more of a cat person.. ;_;

    Everybody on PC is a Pokemon fan, so of course you'll settle in just fine. Some of our awesome members above already provided you with a lot of helpful information and links, so do check those out sometime, and if there's ever anything you're confused on you can always contact one of the staff here! That aside, is there anything you want to do here? <3 Have a favorite game or Pokemon? We have discussions for all the games/gens and lots of other things, so there's something here for everyone! Lots of people to meet too, since we're such a huge forum and all. I'm always open to chat with you if you like too, so go ahead and message me anytime. :3

    So yeah, have a splendid stay on PC! Remember to read the rules as Cid already mentioned, as they're important to make sure you avoid making mistakes. But they're quite simple and easy to follow, so there shouldn't be any problems. Aaand I read you were in the PS server? Good start, there are some really nice people there and I pop in when I can too. n n

    I saw your post before you corrected it, dont feel to bad about it i've made mistakes like that myself :) I was going to tell you to introduce yourself or stick out your tongue & touch your forhead :laugh: I wanted to give you chance to fix it first. As for life, that what were looking for on other planets :laugh:
