Have fun with this! List the signature Pokemon of any anime character you want...except Ash. Why do you feel this Pokemon is their signature one?]

Well there are a couple obvious ones such as Cilan and Pansage and Dawn and Piplup but one that is harder to pinpoint is Brock in my opinion. Cases could be made for Ludicolo, Onix and Geodude. Of those three I have to say Onix. It always seemed like that was the Pokemon that Brock cared most for and did best with in battle. I could just see genuine care for one another that I didn't see quite on the same level as his other Pokemon.

 

[Horn]

Brock's signature Pokémon IMO is Happiny/Chansey now. He wants to be Pokémon Doctor and this Pokémon fits for that purpose. Plus it also quite fit for his caring nature.
Clemont's signature is Bunnelby. It was his only Pokémon when he first appeared in the show and the story behind how he got it was really emotional.
Serena, well that's easy too, definitely Braixen, her starter Pokémon.
The same with Dawn, her signature was Piplup.
May, Blaziken, once again her starter Pokémon who experienced most with her.
Tracey, I want to say Scyter, but I am afraid it's actually Marril.
Cilan's is definitely Pansage and Iris' Axew.
Jessie's, as much as I hate to admit it, is Wobbuffet. I doubt James has any signature Pokémon, he had so many of them, there's hardly any signature one, at least for me.

For May, Dawn and Serena, it's definitely their respective starters - Blaziken, Piplup and Braixen. Cilan's signature is Pansage (duh) and Iris has Axew.

Yeah, James loves all of his Pokemon... Although I must say, I think Weezing and Chimecho were his favorites--especially Weezing!

Well James had a Growlithe (Growly). Maybe it can't be called his signature Pokemon, but he had since he was a kid, so it was kinda his first Pokemon.

I agree with most of what you wrote, but not Paul and Gary.
Paul's signature is definitely Electiwire.
Gary's is Umbreon. Seriously, even though Blastois is Gary's starter, it did not appear until Johto's end. Umbreon, on the other hand, played big role through Johto and even after that and there even were times when people thought it was Gary's starter, not to mention it stayed out of Pokéball most of the time, so for me Umbreon is Gary's signature.
As for Kenny, it's definitely Empoleon.
And you forgot Tierno, Trevor, Shauna and Sawyer, but with these four it's easy, since their respective starters are their signature Pokémon.

And I realized I forgot Misty in my previous post. I know many would've said Togepi and didn't even think about it, but even before Togepi appeared (or more accurately, before Misty stole Togepi from Ash :P ), I already considered Staryu Misty's signature Pokémon. It was definitely Pokémon she used most. And seriously, when you say Misty, I imagine Staryu first, then Togepi.

Gary's is Umbreon. Seriously, even though Blastois is Gary's starter, it did not appear until Johto's end. I agree about Gary´s signature Pokémon being Umbreon, because it always followed next to Gary a lot of the times when they met him in Johto, but Blastoise we only saw once, probably to keep the tension of who Gary´s starter was (but because of Charizard it was rather obvious). Also, just because it´s a starter that doesn´t make it a signature Pokémon automatically.
