I think we have enough threads involving sotw.
We dont want the whole graphics and photography front page filled with [SOTW] xD.
You can talk to them privately, suggest themes here, but in the ends its still their choice.
 
Your right, CheesePeow. There's tons of [SOTW] threads already!
Maybe we should just make a forum xD

I don't have any theme suggestions myself, but I thought it would be a neat way for people to share their creative ideas.. hmm

Munna, that would be wayyy too hard :O
 
How about comedy? xD.
The thing about suggesting a theme is, it will probably be one your good at. So if it gets chosen, theres a massive advantage to you :)
 
It's doubtful that I'd win that… seeing as most of the sotws are based on popularity then other things … and my last typography work was just a font with colour lol

wait I could enter that typography piece in the comedy part xD
Maybe it could be animation… as in the sig would be a .gif file…

The stickies are already looking too full, Loki's already told me that. So i'll just provide a link in each of the threads.

Wow, Melancholy. Amazing theme, but really hard. I was thinking using a Haruhi Suzumiya render. Any other ideas?
 
I was thinking that was a bit cheap xD And using a happy image of Haruhi wouldn't really show 'melancholy', besides the whole "it's part of the title of the show she's in" thing. An image of her being sad might be alright, though.

I was just going to look for a stock of someone looking sad. Not very original, but I can't really come up of anything else.
 
Haha, yeah, I suppose you're right. I'm lazy like that. I was even considering using a render of Light from Death Note when the theme was Light xD I don't think I ended up participating in it, though.
 
That's what munna did. It's funny, but still xD

The rules on following the themes aren't that strict, anyway. I think you'd still get away with a happy Haruhi image. Considering that munna got away with his Light.

I entered a Yagami banner first! Dx i demand credit for my wittiness! Wittiness, I say! *SHOT'd* But then it was fugly, so I got rid of it. <_< *SHOT'd* munna's was 1000x better. I would've gotten Death Note'd by Light if he ever saw the banner. xD

Adore the theme this time around Akari, but somehow, it's harder than I thought it would be. My expectations for a good melancholic picture exceeds what my picture files can provide me. ;; No good! </3
 
Tres mignon, oui xD I need to watch Air Gear >.> And revise French, actually...

That would make a cute banner, though. If only I could use chibis, without making it look horribly... horrible.

Ah and I never saw your Light banner Loki. Show it, now D:

I don't have a decent melancholic stock/render either... -goes to get moar stock packs- I think I've already clogged up my hard drive with images I will never use ever >.> Darn you, SoTW, for actually motivating me to make banners! D:

Now I won't feel so stupid if I do end up using a Haruhi render.

But another thought; What if, instead of Haruhi, we use that other guy... I can't think of his name right now. He's the person "telling" the story. We should get double brownie points for that, seeing as he's from an anime with Melancholy in the title, and he's, well, melancholy. if that describes him
