It is difficult to enforce that rule. I mean, there are several banners I've made, but never show publicly, and I could as easily pick up one of those, and submit them into the contest. Either allow premades, or put the rule up, and hope that people follow it anyway xD

An archive thread sounds like a good idea, much like the Sprite contest ones in the Pixel Art forum.
 
Gummy & Shiranui: It would be difficult to enforce, but really... There's always bound to be that one person who just posts it up as is. We can always get that guy. :<

But I personally don't mind having pre-mades allowed, so really. xD This is Cheesepeow's issue.

As for an archive thread... Ehh, we already have a lot of stickies. xD;; I'll think about it.
 
Well, it takes one person to ruin the fun for others, so think about it before you submit a pre-made banner. The whole point of SOTW is too have some fun, and try something new. Just submitting banners that you've made before won't really get anyone anywhere. Plus, if you already know someone who is doing this, it would be good to PM me with some proof. Then he/she could be disqualified.

Yush, I did. Otherwise, I would have submitted a black and white version of my Roxas banner by now xD

Also, I agree with the Hall of Fame. It was discussed in my old thread. I think...
A badge or a bar with the winning number would be nice too. If someone who's good at them volunteer. xD

Gallery of winning entrants… Also the badge thing would be great too… Like have a contest ribbon tottaly ripped from the pokemon games to be displayed in user profile… although coding that would be fun.
Also Loki I think you should use illu too like how sawyer suggested…you'll love it more than PS when you get familiar with the tools, I still need to get used to em xD[/too lazy to pm]
 
So Loki was the first to post for week 4, and I love it.
But... I'm a little sad cause I was going to use Gundam Deathscythe Hell Costume from Gundam Wing, but I will try and come up with something else. >.<
 
Well, it's a different Gundam Suit, so I don't think it would really matter. xD

I hope ya'll don't mind that I be usin' my entrant as my theme as well. *shot'd* The theme happened to coincide with my current obsession, and then what was even better was that I liked the outcome. So if we need proof that I did the SOTW version first, then I'll go dig up the details on the two files in my comp. xD
 
I hate mecha type anime… well except for Eureka 7 and FLCL lol… modern medicine counts as technology right?
 
I don't think it is a problem. Naw, I have something else in mind. XD Though, I might do a gundam for a theme sometime. XD

Two days ago, I would've high fived you and said, "Oh my god, you rock! >:D"
Because I hated mecha anime. xD

But I guess it's too late.

I usually think SOTW theme's are up to the reader's interpretation, really. Modern medicine should be technology, and if it's not technology directly, you could always just twist it around and say that technology helped develop modern medicine. xD
 
I dunno if this question has been answered before, but may I use the theme I submitted as my theme right at this minute, or must I use it when this week's competition is over?
 
Well, Loki is using her most recent submission, so I guess that you can use the theme, as long as you submitted it to the thread before putting it up.
 
It'd be pretty stupid if we had to wait until the competition was over to use the themes. o_o;

I mean, they belong to us, and we made them, so really. <.<;
 
Well yeah, why not?
Remember, the only rule about banners was you cant submit something you made before the competition started. It never said about waiting until the competition was finished.

If it's made after, you can submit, and use it as a theme, no one said you cant :s.
 
There's a four-way tie in the SOTW#3 voting. We need more votes!
