The theme and graphics are by me but assistance was needed with the layering. I guess since I needed help I don't receive full credit, don't I?
I better put that in my sig...

But I wouldn't go so far as to say that people don't care about the text on there because look at the current one being voted on. There were people who didn't vote for Phanima's because of the text, which was clearly only there because it had to be.

As for the last statement, I suppose that's true, but to me that makes sense, to an extent. I would say it ultimately comes down to what sig looks the best, but if one sig is graphically better than another, but really doesn't do much to fit the theme at all, and the other does way more, and it's close enough graphically, I'd say it should take the cake. Case in point, again, this week. I think Capitano's is the best graphically but it pretty much almost says nothing to me about blades. The way the render's cropped you can barely even tell that it's even a blade in there. Phanima's on the other hand is not far off in terms of graphicality, but it fits the theme WAY better. The focal point is the blade itself (and the effects around it, which are awesome IMO).

(BTW not arguing with you, just discussing. :) )

I didn't get the sense you were arguing with me at all. xD Some very valid points you've got, especially on Phanima's text. The comments on the text totally flew out of my head when I said people didn't care about the text. x_x I'd say it's more how it looks, than what it says though. xD;;

Ah, your second paragraph has a valid point too... xD

It's no different than someone here using a tutorial to create their sig. You can credit your sister if you want to, but you don't need to, and you can still submit your sig, and no one will think lesser of your sig because you got help from your sister. :)

My sister doesn't have an account here...at least, I think she doesn't ^^; I'll just credit her I think.

Mmm...well, it's not exactly like her giving me a tutorial. It's more like, I got stuck on something and she showed me how to do it. I think I'll go and credit her just to be safe.

Why are they all asians. Well, that would probably be a matter of stock, or celebrity preference. Coincidental, in my honest opinion. Besides, Beachboy's aren't all asian, and neither is yours, solution found. And it's not like all asian entries is going to kill you; what's the problem here again?

A bit o blur a bit o sharpen … and reduce noise. I can't use burn and dodge properly… although I did use it on the background slightly. Gotta mess around with the reduce noise settings… it really depends on how high quality the original stock is as well as how good quality the sig is when using that filter.
