Signature rules and review thread

I made this image to be the biggest it can be, just making sure I didn't mess up when calculating and such XD
 
My God, it is such a hassle adding and changing a signature... anyway, is mine okay? Or will you have to kill me?
 
When you go to edit your signature, it says: Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 300 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

But more than 50% of people have avatars over 100.0 KBs...

I'll assume you mean signatures and not avatars. But I think the general rule of the thumb is so long as it's not over the height and width restrictions or over 1mb*, I think that just may need to be updated.

With that said, the signature rules are what you should stick by and *I believe that it is 1mb maximum, but i couldn't be entirely sure, I just think that's how we usually go by it. Hopefully someone will confirm that. But for now, just ensure your signature pictures don't add up to over 500x300 and that if you're using a .gif it's not over 1mb for now.

If you were in fact refering to avatars, well, this is the wrong thread (not that we have/need one), go by the same general idea so long as it's not too large a file and that it fits the max height and width. If I recall correctly, the database would reject anything too large in respect to file size in any case.
 
I'm I okay? I worked so hard to make my signature all pretty. :3
 
Could I just ask if my signature is within the limits? It looks like it is, but I don't want to get in trouble for something minor.

Yupp you're in check, with that image you are permitted to have 5 lines of text higher than size 3 but no higher than size 5. So your sig is fine.
