Simple irritations

What little things about any of the main series Pokemon games irritate you?

    1. For me it's how moves are taught on the DS games. What I mean is when my Pokemon knows all the moves I want it to, but it levels up and tries do learn something else, I constantly hit "Forget a move" on accident, or I'll actually hit "Keep old moves" then accidentally hit "Forget a move". I just really irks me, lol. I mean if I should just be able to hit "Keep old moves" once and it be done, if I didn't mean to do that it would give me a reason to explore and find the move tutor.

    2. Also when I level up a lot I have to keep hearing that "da da dunn" jingle.

When I can't find the Pokemon I'm looking for. See, when you're looking for a certain something, you find everything but that Pokemon. Applies to a lot of games.

This. It happens to me like, everytime I go looking for something

I love that sound, because everytime that happens you can hear the harmony of the battle music for a split second.

But I really hate it when you are tying to level up, and you have to chase the trainer to get them to make eye contact. For example: swimmers, joggers, bikers, etc. Espically swimmers.

What irritates me is the rarity of certain Pokemon, especially in the Safari Zone. I also hate it when critical hits KO the Pokemon I'm trying to catch. Critical hits are also why I lose some battles in the Battle Frontier.

The need for HMs and at times how pathetic other trainers and rivals are.

Game lag. After playing ROMs and hacks at about 4x speed on the emulator, normal play on consoles seems very laggy. Pearl is just atrocious for that, it's soooo slow. I'm glad they fixed that in HG/SS and Platinum.

I have a list of little things that irritates me:

    - HM moves cannot be deleted easily
    - when you ride a bike it's hard to control
    - When you can't remember the name of a Pokemon

    It's soooo ANNOYING!! >_<

Forgot to mention HMs and DP speed. :( Flash and Defog take the cake for the worst HMs of all time.

Confusion. And when your attacks can't hit when your Pokemon are confused. I really want to drop my DS right there, right now.

And when I'm surfing and on a cave. Pokemon pops out every 3 DANG STEPS.

Probably my biggest annoyance is how boxes work in HG/SS. I hate having to hit all these buttons on the touch screen to simply move a Pokemon to a different box.

I miss the old R/S way of simply pressing "move" and cycling through the boxes.

DEM NEW DOOHICKIES ARE RUINING THE GAMES! WE NEED TO GO BACK TO GAME BOYS! NO TOUCH SCREENS! DUEL SCREEN? WHAT A JOKE! I REMEMBER WHEN THE SCREEN WAS THIIIIIS BIG... [/joking of course]

The differences between some shinies and normal Pokemon. You don't realise it's a shiny if you look away, and by the time you've realised, you've KO'd it... :(

I've totally done this! It's got to be one of the most frustrating things ever. What's almost worse is after a battle, "Wait was that a shiny? Huh... Guess I'll never know."

And Paralysis+Confused combo. Kinda feel like throwing whatever I'm playing on against the wall.

Event Pokemon, Roaming that flee on round one, and Masterballs. Event Pokemon should not exist at all, since if you miss one, you are screwed. That's mainly why I am going to get an action replay to activate mystery gift items, I am not going to waste money (cab to the event location) on Pokemon, once I purchase something, I want full access to it.
Roaming Pokemon are also frustrating, since instead of giving you an actual challenge they are mostly trial and error, or huge time wasters trying to make them appear by tracking them with the poketch. Legendaries should be challenging to get, not just time-wasters.
And then you have the masterball. It's a total cheat. It takes no effort at all to use one, and YOU CAN EVEN GET THEM AT LOTTERIES! Seriously, give out masterballs to reward luck? How retarded is that? It also completely ruins the point of having a pokemon, when I was little and I used masterballs to catch Pokemon, I would always feel a gap inside me. That's why I now use my masterballs on Wurmples.

Hate being in the water and encountering countless Pokémon, I know there's repels but if I don't have any on me ect.

When Pokemon won't stay in the Pokeball.

When I can't find what I want (especially in the Safari Zone)

When those multi-hit attacks (Fury Swipes, etc.) hit for the full five turns.

Getting status conditions during game play-throughs.

    Critical hits.

When I need to go to a pokemon centre because my pokemon can barely stand up there are wild pokemon everywhere yet when I'm trying to train them up they are nowhere to be seen (ok an exaggeration but you get the idea :P). On a similar note the fact that all large bodies of water in pokemon games seem to have a serious Tentacool infestation means that every two seconds you end up in battle with one >.<

Does failing to catch a shiny legendary you encountered after many hours of SR'ing count? I hate you, Groudon.
