Actually, you might want to rebreed completely, since the IVs on that Metagross are probably terrible.

If you don't know what IVs are, then you definitely need to rebreed.

how do i find out the ivs?

how can i rebreed an adamant beldum
ITS SO HARD
can i use a ditto adamant with an everstone?

[PokeCommunity.com] Simple Q&A Thread

Let's find out.

A one...A two-oooo...a three...Crunch!

No, it doesn't, unfortunately.

I have a question. How is a Swords Dancing Leafeon (with Roar) as a lead?

Oh, yeah, lemme add the set, courtesy of DA:

Leafeon@Leftovers
Nature:Jolly
EV:132 HP, 160 Atk, 216 Spe
Leaf Blade/Energy Ball
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Roar/Yawn/Sunny Day

It'll be a pain to get 31 Spe IV's on Eevee, though.

Suny Day is to take advantage of his superior ability, Leaf Guard, and Energy Ball let's me use his awesome Sp.Atk, after I hack to make it 999.

Not as a lead, its better mid-late game when you can set up, and pass stuff easier =)

Now what did Torterra & Torkoal ever do to you, huh?

Ack, I was hoping to have a SD passer, so Sceptile could run Earthquake over Swords Dance.

I'll ask here

Is there any SD passer who can stand up to Ttar? Other than Gliscor.

Scizor really, you need to make it bulky though. However, i cant stress enough that it does not like CB or DD Stone Edges.

And it fails to Life Orb Mixtar =p

Scizor@leftovers
184 HP / 176 Def / 148 Speed
Impish Nature
- X-Scissor / Iron Head
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Baton Pass

Leafeon and Gliscor are decent aswell.

Really, Leafeon? I was a-thinkin' that, but...

You mind if we take this convo to PM? I would like some in-depth help with you.

Sure, hit me up with a pm.

Also, what would make a good counter to CM/Sub/HP Fighting/Shadow Ball Mismagius.

Yes, i know Spiritomb, anything else ?

Suicune sounds good, since it can BAAAAAAAAAAW it away with Roar, and it IS beefy (and not an Ice type like I thought).

Noctowl is another great counter, immune to Shadow Ball, beefy enough to take an HP Fighting, and has whirlwind. (Unfortunately, other than Arceus, not a single Flying-only type around).

Life Orbed Deoxys-S set anyone? I've taken the EVs straight from Smogon (boo hiss) where it is now listed as OU but still has it's analysis for Ubers, and I don't think it needs this much Speed:

Deoxys-S @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 86 Atk/172 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Superpower
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic/Pursuit

As I say, possibly less Speed and more Attack for the OU tier? And maybe Pursuit over Psychic?

No, way too much speed

Deoxys@Life Orb
160 ATT / 252 SP.ATT / 96 SPEED
Hasty / Naive Nature
- Superpower
- Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball
- ice Beam
- Psychic

96 speed evs outspeeds Scarf Chomp. 160 att 2hkos blissey MOST of the time and all of the time with Sandstorm.

I don't get it. I do some calcs, countless calcs, but I don't see it. How is it possible that a CB Sceptile is barely under 2HKOing a Lopunny with 0 Def & HP? I can't see how.

Sceptile has quite mediocre attack btw.

Also Loppunny has quite decent defenses, 65/84.

Nah, I'm using Top over Gya, but thanks, Bleach & Richard.

Sceptile@Life Orb***Geico(Switch your Car Insurance, RIGHT NAOW!)
Nature:Jolly
EV:252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 SP.DEF/HP/Who Cares?
Leaf Blade
Thunderpunch
Dragon Claw
Swords Dance
Physical Sweeper.Should I take out Dragon Claw for Earthquake? Maybe not. I am NOT losing T-Punch, it allows me to wipe out Gya, who can threaten my team.

Raichu@Expert Belt***Sparks
Nature:Timid
EV:MAX SP.ATK, MAX SPD, 6 SP.DEF
T-bolt
Grass Knot
Focus BlastPunch
Nasty Plot
Special Sweeper.Wish he had a bit more speed, but meh. I really hate Focus Blast, missing every two moves or so, but I have no choice. I have changed his item to Expert Belt, and gave him Focus Punch over Focus Blast. Now, it will be harder to play, but with more payoff. Even with Timid, I OHKO Tyranitar (& can do 88% & up to a max HP & Def, if there was one), & 2Hko Blissey. Just gotta predict well. [/COLOR]

Grumpig@Leftovers***Lumas
Nature:Calm
EV: MAX HP, 52 SP.ATK, 200 SP.DEF
PsychicFocus Blast
Calm MindReflect
Rest
Shadow Ball
Special Wall.I'll be using Focus Blast on HIM instead. That allows him to take out threats he should be walling (like Heatran, or Pory-Z on the switch). It also allows some sort of defense against Pursuit users, since they are widely weak to fighting. Reflect provides extra support. Shadow Ball allows me to go toe-to-toe with Cressy.

Dusknoir@Leftovers
Nature:Impish
EV: 252 HP, 180 DEF, 76 SP.DEF
Fire Punch
Pain Split
WoW
Shadow Sneak
Physical Wall. A bit dual.So far, so good, but hopefully, these changes can let off the load on Dusknoir. I rely a bit too heavily on Noir early battle.

Hitomntop@Leftovers
Impish nature
Trait: Technician
EV: 252 HP, 100 ATK, 100 DEF, 56 SP.DEF
Pursuit
Toxic
Close Combat/Triple Kick
Rapid Spin
SpinnerHe is my spinner, and overall Ttar counter. However, he's been a bit underpowered. Sure, he spreads Poison all willy nilly, but he doesn't pack that extra punch.

Vileplume@Black Sludge***Petals
EV:244 HP, 90 SP.ATK, 140 SP.DEF, 30 DEF
Nature:Calm
Energy Ball
Hidden Power [ICE]
Aromatherapy
Sleep Powder
Cleric.Yeah, F.U., Vileplume is on every one of my teams. You'd be a jackass to even try and tell me to lose it. Now, it has been tough to play him, but he makes Dusknoir, Hitmontop, & especially Grumpig what they are. He always gets in at least one Aromatherapy, and I love how useless Toxic Spikes are with him. Sleep Powder for stupid switch-ins, and HP ICE for dragon switch ins, who sees Plume as a free set-up for some reason or another.

Now, I see no need to bump up the thread more, so I'll ask here. I wanted to know, could I lose Hitmontop for Bronzong? I seem to have a major DD Outrage weakness, as once they get in Outrage,I get swept. I usually chalk it down to poor prediction, but it's gotten more serious than that.

You need some sort of steel to block DD Outrage, AS you just witnessed -_-... You could Drop Vileplume drop Hitmontop I suppose, but you need Ice/Rock coverage to take down Nite, or Ice to down Garchomp. You could also go with luck and incapacitate it with Hypnosis, but I don't use that...it's too much luck.
