  • Thanks again Gofre!
    I got another question.
When making a stall team should you have any sweepers at all?
I am thinking one to help clean up late game when my walls can't finish things off.

  • SubSalac Garchomp is probably the deadliest and best of the sweepers IF your stall team can take down Bronzong/Skarmory (use Wobbuffet/Magnezone)

    Garchomp @ Salac Berry
    Jolly, 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 whatever
    Sand Veil

    Substitute
    Swords Dance
    Outrage/Dragon Claw
    Earthquake

    Outrage >>> Dragon Claw

The best revenge killer would be Deoxys-E, outrunning even Scarfed pokemon with its speed. You could invest more speed to beat base 95+ Scarfers but it hinders your damage with Superpower.

    Deoxys-E @ Life Orb
    252 SpA
    156 Attack / 96 Spe (outruns ScarfHera)
    108 Attack / 148 Spe (outruns +nature base 95 Scarfers)
    Naive/Hasty

    Superpower
    Thunderbolt
    Ice Beam
    Psychic/Psycho Boost

Once again, Psychic > Psycho Boost for your purposes.

It is worth mentioning that Bronzong beats both of them 1-1, Metagross, Jirachi, Swampert, basically anything that doesn't get hit super-effective will counter DeoE.

SubSalac Chomp only fears Bronzong and Skarm, but it will be weak without SD, same speed as ScarfChomp BTW.

Steel types are a major problem for Stall teams, basically have something for Meta, CMJirachi, Heatran and the like.

IMO, Regice and Articuno both suck at the task of a special wall, Flamethrower and Stealth Rock would be a major hindrance. Cress is Pursuit weak, so Heracross/Tyranitar would be free to exploit that weakness without Reflect and defensive EVs, and not to mention besides Twave Cress can't do anything to special attackers.

Blissey and Snorlax are the best choices. Zapdos could work but it is more offensively oriented. WishBlissey by far is the best variant as it can provide much needed support for your team, and can Protect to scout moves and heal with Wish.

A stall team needs a sweeper for lategame cleanup and a backup incase one of your pokemon get destroyed by a ChainChomp/mixed sweeper, or a critical hit happens.

  • Are these IVs good enough for my Mudkip?

    Mudkip, Relaxed
    HP: 30
    Att: 31
    Def: 27
    SpA: 24
    SpD: 0 - 6
    Speed: 10

I'm training him to be a Mixpert, by the way. His parents are:

    Mudkip, Male
    31/31/30/x/x/x

Could do with a bit more in each defence but its by no means unusable. Nice job. If the offspring is female I'd breed it with the male one for a higher defence stat.

Lol I've just realised pokemon has no laws against incest :P

You see, that would be a lot easier if the odds of getting a female Mudkip were higher than 12.5% >:(

I think I'm going to continue for a little longer, and see if i can get anything better. If I can't, I'll stick with this guy.

  • im wondering
what is a strong pokemon to baton pass defenses and attack
like i was thinking scizor. what item should i give him??
and whats a good pokemon to boost sp.def and anything else
    like i dunnno calm mind
    im thinking espeon
cuz i wanna sorta have an invincible metagross
so im gonna use ninjask for speed and if he survives some attack
then like espeon to boost sp.def (and sp.atk but i dont need it) .
then pass to scizor who will boost defense (iron defense) then pass to metagross
i think thats a good plan
but what items do i give scizor and espeon?

  • Baton Passing is more complicated than that. You've got Hazers, PHazers, and Taunters standing in your way, not to mention the possibility of being straight-up killed while stat-upping. If you want an invincible Metagross, you need an entire Baton Passing team. I'm not sure exactly what they use, but I do know that Smeargle is common (he can Spore + Sticky Web, making him ever useful).

But as far as items go, Leftovers for survivability.

Scizor can be a Baton Passer too. >=(

  • New Mudkip!

    Mudkip, Relaxed
    HP: 31
    Att: 31
    Def: 27
    SpA: 29
    SpD: 0 - 5
    Speed: 9

The SDef is a bit regrettable, though... I'll keep going with this.

Not completely sure what you mean, but I'll try anyway
Pokes give 1, 2 or 3 points and you need a full four to gain a +1 in your stat. So for four speed EVs you could fight any of the following combinations
    *4 Zubats (Zubat= 1 speed)
    *2 Zubats and a Goldbat (Goldbat= 2 speed)
    *1 Golbat and a crobat (Crobat=3 Speed)

And so on. Basically when you've got 4 EVs in a stat, you've got a +1

  • Sorry, that SDef is really bad. That would make an awesome parent, though.

    EDIT: Male or Female?

Male, but my current male parent already has better Def, so I'll just keep breeding.

    EDIT: New Mudkip!

    HP: 30
    Att: 31
    Def: 29
    SpA: 18
    SpD: 24
    Speed: 20 - 25

More balanced than the previous, although the average SAtk is offputting. I may go with him.

  • Battling the god, which darkghost to use?

I am talking of course about Arceus. The huge lvl 80 monster. I know i can't get to it yet, but i am just currious about what people think.
First i set out to find what moves it was gona have when i would finally meet it. It seems that the last 4 moves it will have learned uppon getting to level 80 are Refresh, Furute Sight, Recover and Hyper Beam.
The move that worry's me the most is Recover, but while it is not bussy recovering it can use that abnormal special attack stat to hit my pokemon for some serious damage using the Hyper Beam and Future Sight.
I think the best way to battle the beast is by surviving long enough to catch it. Now how does one do that? By being immune to both it's attacks :D
There are 2 pokemon that are immune to both Hyper Beam and Future Sight. Sableye and Spiritomb. Yeah i got both :D
Now here is the question: Which one to use, why, and which moveset would you advise? Remember: It's sole purpose is to help me catch the god!

Spiritomb+Taunt ftw. Since it's locked into attacks you can them merrily suckerpunch it down to size. That, as they say, is that =]

  • Well, if you have both, use Spiritomb

If not, use Sableye as Spiritomb is a little hard to obtain.
Throw Dark balls at it too (If the Hall of Origin is considered a cave or a dark place)
Or Ultra Balls and use quick balls the first 5 turns.

Its like any legendary, hard to catch and strong
