Nope, unless you don't evolve it; You can't get it as Monferno or Infernape.

ugh, how gay

So if i want Nasty Plot, then i wont have a Monferno until 24 ><

ugh, oh well thanks

This is gonna come across as a gtfo n00b question. *braces self*

How come I never see the moves Fling or Natural Gift being used? Have they been banned or something?

Fling just throws your item at the opposing pokemon for varying amounts of damage depending on the item. K....now you don't have an item. It's kind of a useless move, and you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot if you use it.

Natural gift's power and type is determined by what kind of berry you're holding. First of all, most berries are useless in competitive battle. Second, the max power of the move is 80. So yeah....also a pretty crappy option.

Am I correct in thinking that shedinja is the only poke resisting dragon/fight as an attacking combination?

If a pokemon uses the move copycat on a smeargle to get sketch, then sketches something it couldnt normally learn like a clefairy with crunch, would it keep the move when the battle (not on WIFI) was over?

I think it's only moves that it can learn, so no.

I have a Question
Where do we post individual sets that we created that we want rated? I checked the Individual moveset one but that seems to be for only asking for them...
Thanks to anyone who answers this!

Well it'd go Sketch(Move X) > Copycat(Sketch(Sketch)). So sketch would copy itself. Regardless, sketch doesn't exist on the original moveset to be replaced.

You're free to test this. If I'm wrong you can have a Lucario with Dragon Dance. :D

Edit: Pysn, feel free to post them in Individual Moveset/Request thread. It's poorly named, but that's the place.

D_A, Dragonite makes an awesome counter to SeedMin, as does Regice. Although a poor option, Liquid Ooze pokemon make Leeching hurt the user instead. They're mostly too slow or weak to Ground. Now that I think of it, any plain grass pokemon resists the set. Jumpluff comes to mind - only Seed Flare can damage it and you can Encore it's Subbing.

I believe it will be twenty-six. Twenty-five to reach 250 EVs and another one for the further two. I believe the formula is:

(Base EV Yield + Power Item) x Pokérus = Total EVs gained.

Therefore:

(1 + 4) x 2 = 10. Pokémon that yield 1 EV give 10, 2 give 12 and 3 give 14.

Is it more common for Blissey to know Toxic or T-Wave? I see a lot of T-Waves but I just want to know if I'm likely to come across Toxic now and then.

Well, most Blisseys run T-wave, wouldn't be expecting many experienced battlers to use toxic on one.So the occasional newbie may have it,but other than that not likely.

ummm wut ?

Blissey | Move | Thunder Wave | 39.9 %

Blissey | Move | Toxic | 27.5 %

Both are quite common according to smogons usage statistics.

Well Ive never seen a blissey with toxic...but plenty with thunder wave, I also dont read Smogon,so I really wouldnt know all this ^_^;

Ummm...... :S So I asked a similar question a while back in another thread, but I never got an answer so I'm going to ask again.

I have a mudkip with IVs Impish-31/28/26/25/25/4, he is the best I have ever bread, but I messed up so I don't have curse on him. But I'm sick of seeing mudkip, and I want to hurry up and work on my other pokemon. Should I use him? And if so, what ev spread, and move set should I use?

I was thinking.......

Swampert @Leftovers
Impish
252 hp/ 30 sp.d/ 228 def
Move set

Avalanche: In the short time I have played pokemon I have found that water type moves are useless, and I alwas fined my self wishing I had Ice moves

Earthquake: Basic stab, and covers all the part water kills that ice dose not

Rest: My homies tell me I look good in pink

Sleep Talk: Do the peace sigh and put your index finger down

Thanks in advance.

You have a couple of options really.

Swampert - Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Effort Value: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpA
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Stealth Rock

Swampert - Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Effort Value: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Def
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall

And the set you mentioned. I like to use the first set personally, just Roar instead of Surf / Hydro Pump.

EDITT: It mostly depends on what your team is looking for in him as a role. In short, what does your team need, which set will benefit your team more?

I need a wall-ish gay pokemon that wont die on me quikly, and I want to use the pokemon I said up there (Mudkip Impish-31/28/26/25/25/4)

I have a question...

Is huge power different from pure power or or they the same?
