No, that has no bearing on whether they will be shiny or not. To answer your second question. Yes, saving before you encounter them will allow you to restart your game over and over until they finally are shiny. Good luck!

I do not know when Emerald was released. Hopefully someone else will provide that for you.

Altering Cave is totally useless. It was supposed to have an eCard interaction to it, but the developers scrapped the idea. You will ONLY find Zubat (maybeand occasional Golbat) in there.
Actually I don't think there are any Golbat. My guide book says theres none but it has been wrong before.
And Emerald was released on May 1, 2005. I know because I got it on the day it came out.

soo... that means that the color i see them out of battle dont matter?i will battle them and they will probably(i mean..hardly...) sudently change to a shiny?

Whenever the Pokémon image you see comes from the specific Pokémon rather than the Pokédex, it will be shown as shiny. This means when it's in battle, when you check the status screen, or look at it in the box. The only time it won't be shown as shiny is if it's one of the starters you take from Birch or something. Their stats are only generated after you pick them.

sorry dude.. but i am not from usa... and i dont know what means rather...(would it be the image of the pokemon out of battle and out of the pokeball side by side with its trainer or something like that?)please... someone tell me and try to explain me better...

like.. i see rayuazza stopped there on the green color... then i wake up him and he fly to sootpolis...then aftr the league, i get back there and look at him still green...then when the battle starts i see him in the black color?
s then.. if i see grundooon when the team magma guy is gnna wake him up, and he is nt a shiny... s then i gtta restart my game and try again?

When you see the Pokemon outside of battle, that's called the "overworld sprite." The overworld sprite will NOT be a different color if the Pokemon is shiny. You will have to actually start the battle with Rayquaza (or whatever legendary you are facing), and if it is shiny then the sprite in BATTLE will be a different color.

Does this help?

Here's one: In which room in Meteor Falls is Lunatone the most common? (on Sapphire) I'm hunting for Moon Stones, but I want to reduce the amount of other things I see. My, Pokéfor was a useful site...

On these two attached maps, are where Lunatone are most common in Sapphire version.

Unfortunately, there are only 4 lunatone out of all ten Pokemon on the Wild Pokemon list. (I believe the rest are Zubat and Golbat.)

Slightly off topic, but you can still access archived pages of Pokefor using the Way Back Machine:

https://www.archive.org/

I still get Pokemon location data, etc, from Pokefor using this site, and it's been very helpful.

Hey, does anyone here know how to catch the three regies on emerald?

Sorry for the inclarity. What I meant was opening the doors. I got to the brail cave in the currents, but I don't know what to do. Thanks anyways.

go to psypoke.com and read ''r/s/e/ legendaries.

For some reason, it's not working on my computer. Can anyone actually tell me how to open the caves?

you need a rlycanth (spelt wrong) last in your team and a wailord first in your team. fly to the sea city begens with p cant remember name, surf until you get to a place to dive by the fast current, then dive along the dodgy writing on the wall then surface again. walk to the next dosgy writing use dig, all places will be open. brief but its bed time.

Sorry to bug you so much...

Thanks, that worked! But how do you fight regies after the doors are open? All I see is Brail in the back.

i have tried all of the methods in the latios catching guides & i cant get him ive spent a week on this i just dont get it

Hmm... Whenever I tried to access a scripted page, archive.org just redirected to the "current" URL, which, of course, redirects to Chasing My Rainbow. :\ I can't say I specifically tried the Location pages. I'll see if they work.

Does anyone know how to get to the regies in emerald? I opened the doors and all, but at the back of the caves I just see a bunch of braille. How do I get to them (registeel especially) ?
