What happens if Shedinja Uses Double edge or substitute?

Also,
Sorry, but those isolated instances don't make Fly a good move, although to each their own. If you fear Solarbeam THAT much, simply switch to a Poke that resists it.

There is no substitute for a STAB Dragon Claw that only has one resistance. If you won't use Dragon Claw, I would go with a different Poke altogether. If you cannot use Dodrio, I would use Swellow. Guts + Facade = PAIN.

1. Most things that learn fly can resist Grass and,
2. To replace Loudred, use Breloom or Slaking

What's the best team to have to beat these guys easily?

It depends really on your fighting style. You need a wide range of a team, wide enough to beat practically every Elite Four person with one or two Pokemon only. For Sidney (Dark) try using a strong fighting type. Such as a Machamp, Heracross, etc. I used a level 50 Heracross to take out 3 of his Pokemon with 1 hit with Brick Break. I used Rayquaza with Fly to beat his Cacturne and Shiftry.

For Phoebe (Ghost) try putting Shadow Ball on a normal type Pokemon like Slaking. Sure he has the truant ability but if you K.O. the ghosts one hit with Shadow Ball, switch out and then use another Poke, then switch him back in. Slaking can't get hit by the ghost's attacks because he's normal, but he can use Shadow Ball, a really powerful Ghost attack that's super effective.

For Glacia (Ice) try using a fighting/fire combination. This is where a Blaziken really comes in handy, but if you didn't choose a Blaziken, you can use something like that Heracross I used earlier. You should get a really good fighting type because it's super effective on all of the Pokemon Glacia uses, if not, get a Fire and a Grass type with a lot of speed. The Fire type can kill her Glalie's, but the Grass with lots of speed can kill her Walrein/Sealeos. A strategy can be, with your Fire type use Sunny Day on her second Glalie so that when she uses Walrein/Sealeo you can switch to Grass and K.O. with Solar Beam.

For Drake (Dragon) get an Ice type. Except, for his Kingdra the only weakness it has is Dragon, so get a Flygon, or Salamence yourself. You should be able to take him down pretty easily except for his Salamence. It might be kinda tough which is why you should get a good Defense Poke such as a Walrein.

Then there's the champion. Do you have Ruby/Sapphire or Emerald, because there's two different champions.

Jeez you sure widened the search. A lot of the pokemons you mentioned sucks. For example, Ninjask. The only thing remotely good is atk and yeah it has great speed bug how far can speed alone go.
Ninjask can be a great Poke, if you know how to use it right. It works VERY well against the crappy AI since it is too limited to be able to deal with it. For example, you start off with Ninjask and use Substitute. Since it is the fastest Poke you will face in the game (Deoxys-E is the only Poke faster, but you will never see that in-game), its Sub goes first and regardless what your opponent will do, Sub will take all the damage. The next turn, Ninjask gets a speed boost from its trait. Repeat the process until the Sub stays or until its HP is too low to make another one. If the Sub stays, you can use Swords Dance the next turn to boost Atk. If it doesn't, you then Baton Pass to a physical sweeper (i.e. Metagross) and let it plow through your opponent. A super fast sweeper is spelled g-o-o-d-g-a-m-e.

Question: what the deal with pokemons different 'natures'? i've seen it on the summery screen, but have no idea what it means.
As Ichapokemr stated, a Poke's nature is one of the most important things about it. Sadly too many people disregard natures because they don't understand them. Most natures will increase one stat by 10% while decreasing another stat by 10%. At face value, that might not seem like much, but when you examine it further you will see the benefit that it has. That 10% automatic boost can spell the difference between doing severe damage to an opponent and KO'ing them. Here is a list of the natures:

Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
Bashful (neutral)
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
Brave (+Atk, -Spd)
Calm (+SDef, -Atk)
Careful (+SDef, -SAtk)
Docile (neutral)
Gentle (+SDef, -Def)
Hardy (neutral)
Hasty (+Spd, -Def)
Impish (+Def, -SAtk)
Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk)
Lax (+Def, -SDef)
Lonely (+Atk, -Def)
Mild (+SAtk, -Def)
Modest (+SAtk, -Atk)
Naïve (+Spd, -SDef)
Naughty (+Atk, -SDef)
Quiet (+SDef, -Spd)
Quirky (neutral)
Rash (+SAtk, -SDef)
Relaxed (+Def, -Spd)
Sassy (+SDef, -Spd)
Serious (neutral)
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)

Just beware of the dreaded neutral natures. They are useless since it offers no benefit whatsoever.

Shedinja dies.

Gardevoir
Swampert

This is all you need to defeat the Weak5. Gardevoir pretty much does it by itself, if you use it right. Start off with Hypnosis and then use Calm Mind while your opponent sleeps since the retarded AI has been programmed not to switch out. From there, you simply destroys things with a STAB Psychic or, in the case of Dark Pokes, a boosted Thunderbolt. Swampert can easily take care of the Ghosts and Dragons if you want to give Gardevoir a break. The RSE "Elite Four" is truly the WEAK Five. The weakest collection of trainers to date. At least in FRLG they would get stronger and have a little more variety. Wallace is easily the weakest "Champion" the game has ever seen.

Don't ask questions about cheating here, there is a stickied thread for cheaters right below this one.

Cool, thanks for your help guy's. I'm not there yet, but i just want to be prepared early.

It's completely random. You have a 1 in 8192 chance of finding a shiny Pokemon. It can be anywhere too. What some people do is they save in front of a legendary such as Rayquaza and keep resetting until he is shiny. Yeah, it's completely random if they're shiny or not, if you do find one, you're lucky.

I say you're better of resetting until you get the right nature, and possibly IVs. Then the poke actually becomes useful to you. Plus, not to mention that you would have to reset the game 8,192 times before winning the house advantage of getting a shiny. 8,192 times?? Even David Copperfield couldn't do that.

Raah

The Moves growl, tailwhip etc. each lower a respective stat by 1 or you can get moves that raise them by 2 etc. How Much is it raised, and whats the max, and does it actually raise the stats for the duration ( By That I mean if my blaziken went into battle with 200 attack and i checked it after i used swords dance would it be 250 or something?

Also lol Graceofbaal Even if you do fight 8142 pokemon theres no guarentee youll get a shiny lol

If I'm correct, the "Sharply Raised" moves raise/lower a stat by 2, as opposed to 1. There is a limit as to how many you can use, of course; for example, it will say "Blaziken's attack won't go any higher!". As for how many times, that I'm not completely sure of. I'll have to do a test today sometime, but 10 sounds about right. Nice even number. Of course, 5 times max for the "Sharply" moves. But don't hold me to that, I'll find out today.

The max is 6 (3 for the doubly-raised moves).

In Emerald, there is only one Gorgeous Ball, right ??

Hey, does anyone know the maximum number of pokes possible in just one version of Ruby? As in, no trading &c.? It's 17X. I think 175. Anyone sure, though?

Ok thanks guys, So if my blaziken had 200 att and i used swords dance 5 times, what would it be?

You just need 3times since it won't go higher afterwards. In stat when you check , nothing would change, but if you attack using attack stat, in calculation your attack will be multiplied by 4x(The maximal boost, as well as the lowest is 1/4)

So after many hatchings and leveling ups... I would like to know if you think these are decent IVs for a Magnemite/Magneton (taken at level 25, from the metalkid program):

HP: 26 or 27
Att: 22 or 23
Def: 12 or 13 (I'm not too worried about Defense, because most physical hits are 'not very effective', and other physical hits that are 'super effective' will pretty much OHKO Maggie anyways)
SpA: 24
SpD: 31 (I'm very pleased with this one, and the only reason I kept this specific Maggie)
Speed: 24

This is good in comparison to my old Magneton, who had all EVs in the single digits except for Speed (was 24 also) and I believe SpA, which was something like 18. HP was a craptacular 2, and SpD was around 4. So even if the first three are the lower of the two options, I'm quite impressed! Especially with a perfect IV in SpD.

What do you think?? Worth keeping, or should I keep trying? I'd like to EV-hatch all of my team, to try to improve it, and maybe send 'em to D/P when it finally comes out.

Which brings me to... does evoution affect IVs? Like, if I level up and evolve into a Megneton, it won't lower or affect the IVs, will it? If I evolve an Onix to a Steelix, won't affect IVs, yes?

On the 6th consecutive round of the Battle Pyramid, I don't get the Hex maniac's advice. So what can be the problem on the 6th round? And the rounds after that?

Yes. Although you can be a cheater and duplicate it in the Battle Frontier.

It is 195. You need to trade 191 Pokes from the other games to fill out your Ruby Pokedex.

Not bad at all. Evolution has no effect on IVs.

Not sure what you are referring to, but remember that the Gold Symbol is 10 rounds.
