Yes they do and thats a good thing

Alright! But I noticed that it doesn't seem to work in the Battle Factory. I rented a Charmander, but it wasn't recorded in my pokedex (I lost in the 3rd round btw if that matters).

Do you ever receive a TOWN MAP in the Sapphire game? I just got the game today (cause I decided to wait on buying Diamond) and my player doesn't have a town map.

Nope, you dont, not as a single item. It comes as a part of the PokeNav.

Renting the Pokémon doesn't actually classify them as seen, let alone caught, I think. It might also be because you lost, but I think the first option is most likely to be the one that's true.

Got 2 questions:

1: where and how do you get feebas, ive been looking for him by the route before you go to fortree city because thats what the pokedex said, but i can't find him.

2: how do you get to battle the frontier brains, do they just come randomly or what?

1. Feebas can be found in the water on Route 119. There are only six water tiles that you will find it on though. Using the Super Rod you will only come across Carvahna, other than Feebas. Those tiles can be changed by changing the Dewford Town's trendy phrase.

2. Sorry can't remember on this one. But I think it's something like 7 straight rounds of winning and then that's for fighting for the Silver symbol.

wrong. Different time for different brain
Noland and Spencer=> 21th consecutive (3rd entrance) and 42th(6th)
Lucy => 48th room(2nd) and 140 (10th)
Greta => 28th(4th) and 56th(8th)
Tucker => 20th(5th) and 40th (10th)
anabel => 35th (5th) and 75th(10th)
Brandon => 21th (3th)floor and 70th (10th)

Alright, I've caught a Feebas, and I've fed it a bunch of Blue PokeBlocks which only enhances beauty. I got it to eat the PokeBlocks until it was no longer hungry, and all the stars were shine around it. I trained it one level and it didn't evolve. So, I've got two questions:

-Is it by training it one level that is evolves, or do you have to do something else once you've maxed out the beauty
-I can't help but feel I didn't max out the beauty even though it won't eat anymore, are there any other ways to increase it's beauty?

Thanks

Well, natures have a big effect on it. The thing has to like blue pokeblocks. Look on Serebii to find out what nature likes beauty pokeblocks.

I have a Modest nature Feebas. It hasn't evolved.

Anything else that effects the evolution?

You have to max out the beauty condition, then level up.

So just mix berries using Chesto berries (if I remember; it's been a while since I evolved my Feebas), preferably with the Master Blender. If you're really good at making Pokeblocks, then just mix whenever you want, but it may take more blocks to max out the condition. After it's maxed out, use a Rare Candy or fight until the next level, and voila! Milotic.

Oh, and nature doesn't affect evolution for Feebas.
You should, however, breed for a Bold nature.
A Bold nature makes Milotic happy.

EDIT: I just saw your post above. Sorry! I think your Pokeblocks weren't strong enough to max it out. A poke will only eat 15 Pokeblocks, if I'm correct, so you essentially have 15 chances to max it out. After 15, the stars appear anyway. However, if you were to max out Beauty in, say, 7 blocks, all stars will appear and it won't eat anymore. At least that's what happened with mine.

My suggestion is to ignore color of pokeblocks and the nature, and wait for the Master Blender. Blend only Chesto Berries (along with the Master's berry, the outcome will be a Lv.50 Gold Pokeblock, or something like that), and it will max out before the 10th feeding. Probably before that. Either way, if you do this, it's a guaranteed that you will max out Beauty.

I'm not completely sure about the Chesto Berry, but I am pretty damned sure. Just check up, or wait for Shane to correct me.

but all it's natures that raise Sp. Def, it's highest stat, makes it refect blue pokeblocks. So your wrong, Natures play an important role in evolving Feebas.

No I'm not. This only really matters when you're gambling with shotty Pokeblocks that don't raise a condition much. If you mix with the Master Blender, it doesn't matter how much it dislikes the block - it will still get maxed out before the Poke starts to reject them.

Either way, with the Master and Chesto Berries, you get Gold blocks, not Blue. Surely a Poke as great as Milotic deserves a bit of a wait for the Master Blender to ensure a fail-proof process.

I mean, what's the point in raising a Milotic that isn't Bold?
Unless you're just trying to evolve to fill your Pokedex, of course.

where is the fisherman w/ the Super Rod in LillyCove City?

In one of the houses, xD

Just keep looking, and I think it might be in Sootopolis.

Actually, I found it in MOSSDEEP CITY. I had been using a walkthrough and it said the SuperRod was in Lillycove. I guess they had it wrong. :p

These are the natures that work the best. Modest, Mild, Rash, Quiet. My suggestion is to use Modest.
No. Milotic should be Bold Nature. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

You are right that natures play a HUGE role in evolving Feebas, but you are DEAD WRONG pursuing a +SDef nature.

Like Blissey, Milotic is an exception to the cardinal rule of natures. Both Blissey and Milotic have strong base SDef, but their base Def leaves a lot to be desired. If you have a Bold Blissey, and then max its Def EVs, it can survive TWO non-STAB Earthquakes while a non +Def nature won't last one. That has to do with its incredibly high HP. It is the anti-Shuckle. Too many novice trainers see Shuckle as a good Poke and then waste EVs maxing its defenses when it is its horribly weak HP that fails it.

If you have Bold Milotic and max out its Def EVs, not only do you now have a special tank that can withstand many special hits, but you also have a good physical tank with no physical weakness. With the correct moveset (Hypnosis/Ice Beam/Recover/Surf or Rest/Sleep Talk/Surf/Toxic), Milotic can not only take hits, but it can also dish out damage as well. Milotic is one of the best in the game, especially if you are smart enough to go with Bold.

Now, in order to evolve Bold Feebas, Josh had it half right. You can certainly wait for the Master Blender and use Chesto Berries, to which he will counter with a Pamtre Berry. Since the MB gets a 'Perfect' rating every time you blend with him, you will get a GOLD PokeBlock with a 55:45 Level/Feel ratio. As Josh said, that only takes a half dozen to 8 Blocks to evolve Feebas.

If you have no patience, or don't have Emerald, you can blend berries with Mister, or the lone man at one of the tables (I forget which one). It is more difficult, as you have to provide the Pamtre Berry and be a pretty good blender in your own right, but you still can get pretty decent GOLD PokeBlocks (the Level/Feel ratio varies too much to give you a range, but I have maxed it at 50:45 on occasion). It takes a few more to feed your little buddy, but unless you suck at blending it shouldn't take the full max.

Feebas Evolving 101.
