Go to Route 125, left of Mossdeep City, to the Hunter's house. Buy about 20 Max Repels, then enter the house. Then exit. Surf around the house, using Max Repels for about 5 minutes, then if you don't find it, enter and exit the house again, and surf around again. It took me ten minutes to find Latios doing this.

Thanks it worked perfectly.

What move should Groudon know between Fire Blast and Eruption?

Where can i get the soul dew on sapphire
I believe that the only way to get Soul Dew is on Southern Island on the other Lati@s
Where in sapphire is tm earthquake
It is in the route east of Fallarbor Town, in a dirt mound.
Thanks it worked perfectly.

No problem.
My Groudon learnt Eruption, as it is more powerful than Fire Blast, and if your Groudon has high HP, it works more powerfully.
should i teach my swampert or vibrava earthquake?
Well, Swampert learns Earthquake anyway, and so does Vibrava/Flygon, so your problem is solved.
Yes, earthquake is one of the best moves in the game period.
Well, that made no sense whatsoever.

Well, that made no sense whatsoever.

Mind explaining why it didn't make sense? Earthquake is one of the most powerful physical attacks in the game, and with 100% accuracy there's no reason not to use it. Stop picking fights with people, I'm not stupid enough to bite.

Pokemon seen at The Battle Fronter, are not added to the Pokedex, correct?

No, they are not added to your Pokedex as seen.

He wasnt picking fights, what he said was perfectly legitamiate...

Mike asked if he should teach swampert or vibrava Earthquake, and you said "yes". o_0 yeah, that wasnt a yes-or-know question ^_^;

btw imo, Earthquake is only mediocre since, even tho it is a very powerful atk, it cant hit flyers or levitators ... so yeah!

Just wanna clear things up be4 a fight starts ...

If you think Earthquake is only mediocre, you probably aren't as educated as you think you are about Pokemon Battling.

Furthermore, the EXACT same can be said about almost any good attack as you said for Earthquake. "Earthquake is only mediocre because it can't hit flyers or levitators" is lol, the same can by said for stuff like Thunderbolt to Ground types or Shadow Ball on Normal types (both of which are good moves). Surf can't hit Pokemon with Water Abrosrb while Focus Punch can't hit Ghost types. See what I'm getting at?

well we're on the subject how does the secondary part of it works, if I have a level 60 remoraid, am I gonna find over level 60 pokemon just anywhere or what?

Um... you can't find Pokemon over Level 60 in the wild in R/S/E. They just aren't around.

Im sorry if I didnt clarify myself enough. I was trying to be concise as that wasnt the main topic of my post, however, I shall add...
What you said is perfectly correct. However your quip in the beginning was completly unnecessary. True, electric attacks cant hit ground types and the same with ghosts to normal and psychic to dark, plus all the exceptions you mentioned, but those all qualify under the same criteria as ground types.

However, a large majority of Pokémon are either flying type or have the ability Levitate, practically 20% to be exact. Which is a large number, among all Pokémon; nearly 90.
Another thing to consider is type coverage. Its only super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel. Of which, poison and fire are not as useful as other types, and therefore, not as commonly used. Steel is also commonly dual-typed with types that can balance out their weakness.
Also, although only applicable in 2-on-2 battles, as with Surf, it'll attack teammates (who are also non-levitators or fliers) along with both enemies; its a double-edged sword.
So here, Earthquake suffers two penalties rather than the usual one, since there is no "perfect" attack.
All else aside, I said "mediocre", which does not mean bad. The most common definition (the one I used) is "ordinary or moderate quality".

I really dont want to pursue this issue further, as it was only one sentence, so lets drop it now before it gets any worse. =/

If what you mean subject is hustle...
Pokemon attack's x1.5 in exchange of decreasing accuracy to 80%
And it's nothing to do with finding high level pokemon.

The only wild pokemon with lv above 60 is the legendary trio in Emerald (Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza), which you battle only once

Your quip about my quip is unnecessary as well.

Poison types and Fire types are used regardless of whether or not they are "useful" (they actually are quite useful). Ground still hits them super-effectively, and you cannot omit them from its coverage. Earthquake has more coverage than most moves anyways; Surf hits only three types, Ghost hits two, Psychic hits two, and Ice hits three. The only type that I can think of that actually comes close to Earthquake in terms of coverage is Fighting (Ice, Steel, Rock, and Dark)!

Which Steel-types have secondary types to help them remove their ground weakness? Skarmory, Scizor, and Forettress are the ony ones IIRC.

Surf only attacks both your teammate and both enemies in D/P. This is the R/S/E Simple Questions Thread, not the D/P Simple Questions Thread. Besides, you're basically saying that Surf and Earthquake do the same thing in 2 vs. 2 (again, only in D/P); but why do you mention that?

I never said there was a perfect attack, and I do know what mediocre means. I'm not as stupid as the majority of the members that visit here, you'll have to forgive me for that.

several websites said if u hav a pokemon with hustle as your first pokemon then your chances of finding pokemon of higher level then the pokemon with hustle are raised.
