where the sign is that says:celadon mansion, there is 1 space to walk threw and this goof is standing on the space above the one where i would be able to get threw :/

There are a few problems here:

1. You didn't really get the Tea from the old lady on the first floor.

2. There is something wrong with your cart. You either bought it used and it is glitched, or you glitched it yourself by cheating.

The boy in the back is your hint that you need to get the Tea. Once you do, the boy is gone.

Would it be worth it, trying to catch a Chansey for the Lucky Egg item? I hear there's only a really small chance it'll even be holding one, and the pokemon itself is hard enough to find.

It is DEFINITELY worth it. Sure it is hard work, but it should be to get something as great as the Lucky Egg. Just imagine trading a Poke from one cart to another and then having that Poke hold the Lucky Egg. You will get over twice as many Exp Points for every battle.

For example, you have a Mudkip at the beginning of the game and you battle a Lv3 Zigzagoon. Normally, your Mudkip will earn 26 Exp Points. If you traded a Mudkip from another cart and did the same battle, that Mudkip would earn 39 Exp Points. Now, with it holding Lucky Egg, that same traded Mudkip earns 58 Exp Points! That is more than double.

To drive the point home even further, let's say you are battling the Weak5 and your Gardevoir is facing off against Drake's Lv58 Milotic. Normally, your Gardevoir would earn 1765 Exp Points. If it was traded, it would earn 2647 Exp Points. Now if it was holding the Lucky Egg, it will earn a whopping 3970 Exp Points!!

Now if that isn't incentive to work hard to get a Lucky Egg, I don't know what is.

Is it possible for me to trade my pokemom over to my emerald game then trade them back straight away to the 1.5x exp bonus?

I don't think so because you only get 1.5x exp if the trainer number on the Pokemon is different from the cartridge's trainer number.

No, it is not. However, if you trade a Pokémon out to raise its level in another game and then trade it back, it will still obey you no matter how many badges you have.

Hello All,

I have just beaten the E4 in LG, now I have one Masterball, do I use it on Mewtwo or Entei? Any tips for catching them without a Masterball?

Thanks

Mewtwo doesn't appear randomly and cannot run away. Use the MB on your Legendary "Dog".

Also, peruse the stickied topics and you will see good strategy to catch both.

Thanks for the help shane but im afraid after much searching I can't find any strategies could you help me narrow down my search? Any one particular thread I should be looking in?

On LeafGreen I want to know what is the best pokemon you can get in the Safari. Except these pokemon: Dragonair, Dratini, Chansey

Best as in rarest or best as in strongest?

strongest (in attack): pinsir
rarest (plus a little strong): kangaskhan

i still haven't caught a kangaskhan. they run away so quickly, and it's virtually impossible to catch it on the first turn.

oh right, forgot about tauros. good speed and attack, something you shouldn't overlook. and they're quite easy to catch. i've caught 5 for trading in a matter of minutes. i guess they're just not that special =/

What about Tauros? They may be rubbish in battle (low Sp. Attck) but they are devilishly hard to catch.
Actually, Tauros is one of the best Normal-types in the game. It doesn't need any SAtk because it is a physical attacker with good speed (base 110). Only Snorlax and Slaking prove to be better Normal-types than Tauros. If only Tauros had a better movepool.

Ah, so its also the bad movepool? I don't tend to think about that.

And they are really hard to catch (not as hair rippingly hard as Chansey or Kangaskahn though).

they're not hard to catch at all. they're VERY easy. maybe it's just me, and my not having looked at the catch rate for the average tauros, but every single one i had the intention of catching, i actually caught it. it's not a bad pokemon... it can learn many moves and would be a good choice for a strong normal type on your team, but i prefer pokes like kangaskhan and miltank over those like pinsir and tauros because their stats are well-rounded, as opposed to specializing in a couple of stats. perhaps that doesn't make me quite the battler, but i couldn't care less.
