i dont know i think it is only in r/s/e but can you breed the fossil pokemon such a kabutotops i need to know
Of course. They are not lengendaries and do not belong in the Unbreedable Egg group. Both Omastar and Kabutops belong to both the Water and Water 1 Egg groups.

what about aerodactyl?_? can i breed him

but if i do that would i get aero or a pidgey

it depends if your Aerodactyl is a female or not. Female then Aerodactyl egg... but if your pidgey is the female, then a pidgey egg. if your Aero's a male then try breeding it with a ditto! hope that helped ~.O

I hear that to get certain pokemon, such as houndour, on fr/lg, you need to use mystery gift. Do you need another game+gameboy to do this? Can you do it with gameboy advance? Or do you need an SP or something? In short, how does this mystery gift for pokemon thing work? Thanks!

You need to have two GBA with one having an E-Reader and then swipe the E-Card. After doing that go to Altering Cave.

Is this game a lot more challenging that the old blue and red versions?

Yes as this game has added features compared to the old R/B and the storyline has been changed slightly. You also see new places in LG/FR which are the sevil islands.

Spearow can be caught at the beginning Route 22 in both versions

Does anyone now a list of when (which level) the Pokemon there moves.

Well if not what would be the best level to evolve Growlithe and Shellder

Can you buy solar beam in leaf version?

Solarbeam is one of the TMs in LG/FR but I cant remember where you get it. I'm pretty sure you are either given it by someone or its like on the ground and you pick it up.

As I recall, the only Solarbeam TM you get is in Cinnabar Mansion.

Growlithe
01 - Bite
01 - Roar
07 - Ember
13 - Leer
19 - Odor Slueth
25 - Take Down
31 - Flame Wheel
37 - Helping Hand
43 - Agility
49 - Flamethrower

To be perfectly honest, there is not a single move here that I would have on Arcanine. Its limited moveset hurts Growlithe. I would evolve it into Arcanine as soon as possible to take advantage of its increased stats. Also, at Lv49 Arcanine learns Extremespeed instead of Flamethrower, a TM you can buy and teach to it at any time.

Shellder
01 - Tackle
01 - Withdraw
08 - Icicle Spear (FRLG)
09 - Supersonic (RSE)
15 - Supersonic (FRLG)
17 - Aurora Beam (RSE)
22 - Aurora Beam (FRLG)
25 - Protect (RSE)
29 - Protect (FRLG)
33 - Leer (RSE)
36 - Leer (FRLG)
41 - Clamp (RSE)
43 - Clamp (FRLG)
49 - Ice Beam (RSE)
50 - Ice Beam (FRLG)

Shellder is in the same boat. Crappy movepool. Evolve it early. Cloyster learns Spikes at Lv33 (RSE)/Lv36 (FRLG), but that is only useful in competitive play. Like Flamethrower, you can teach Cloyster Ice Beam as soon as you can afford it.

need some quick help

hi, i have leaf green and i've been playing it on my DS. i restarted my save file so i can focus my pokemon for D/P when it comes out.

so far, i've managed to figure out that you can only get lickitung by trade, as well as a few others like tangela. since these have evos in D/P, i wanna be able to get them at early levels. so... does anyone know of a walkthrough or guide that tells you the location of trainser that will trade with you and what they trade for?

ooh, that reminds me, i gotta catch a poliwhirl for jynx!!
