Blue shard is found under water ( Dive ) All though the ocean on the right. As for The Abandoned Ship, Start from Dewford and surf to pacifldog town, and stay to the north. U will find it.
no you dont get the national dex for trading to R/S
to get the national dex beat the elite 4 once and then go to prof. oak's lab and he will update it for you
No... just the trading will do. Even no need for the Elite 4. Simply get the plates from Islands whatever (I can't remember, and I'm not going to check... I need coffee >.<), then trade something to either Ruby or Sapphire. After the trade, you will have obtained the National PokeDex. No Elite 4. No need for a certain amount of Pokemon - very very easy. XD
alright, I tried looking up the manual, but I lost it (my collection is ruined *sob*). Is it possible to trade with formers version of Pokemon? For example, can you trade your Lugia up to Ruby/Sapphire? I'm sorry, I had put these games away, and I recently picked them up again...I need help O.o
It won't corrupt your game... you just can't. Nintendo revamped the trading system so that is was a lot more effecient than that of RBYGSC. Because of the way Advance Gen trading works, it means that it would be impossible to trade between GSC and RSE/FRLG.
the annoying thing is:
soon you may lose all you R/S/FR/LG pokemon when the DS games come out
if they arent back compatible theres going to be a lot of angry pokemon fans
