Sinnoh Journey Journal v.2 - Share your travelling stories

just beat team galactic on mt. coronet and went through distortion world. the battles were real hard, i even had to use my hm slaves as cannon fodder so i could use some revives. Jupiters Skuntank killed the half of my team with flamethrower and the rivals rapidash used fire blast and missed and missed and missed. but this was nothing against cyrus, already the beginning went wrong. i thought he would start with weavile or honchcrow so i start with wormadam and he sends out houndoom >_>. i used tons of revives in that fight and at the end it all depended on cyrus getting a crit with weavile or not. luckyly, he didnt get it and yanmega was able to finish weavile off. after mars, jupiter and cyrus were so hard i feared giratina would kill me easily but simply finished it off with 4 shadow balls from wormadam and it was dead (why should i catch it, i'm doing a monotype challenge so the exp is far more useful... and i need the money for revives and potions and not for pokeballs)

I know everyone is talking platinum at the moment. So Im gonna go to what I did on my diamond today yay!! :D

I evolved some more pokemon and am close to completing my national pokedex :D
I managed to evolve my Aipom :D and am currently using its move thief to steal items.
And I FINALLY found deep sea scale on a Chinchou :D WHOOP!!!
Now I can just choose deep sea tooth on my ruby as Carvanha in diamond can only be found in the Great Marsh ¬¬ so I cant steal there :'(
And my lovely Charizard is flourishing in that grass patch full of grass pokemon just north of that pokemon spa in which you have to have loads of ribbons to get into.
And my Cloyster and Lapras love it in that HUGE grass patch just before you get to Stark Mountain :D
Many levels they have all gained today :)
Gooood day!! AND later on it will get better ... when it turns midnight here in the UK I shall be straight on Pokemon Ranch to claim my Mew!!! :D

GOOD TIMES!!!!

Luxio: Lv. 20 or 21 ':D
Spark
Bite
Tackle
Charge

Heheh, your Luxio is exactly like mine, in the moves department. XD Mine's just a few levels higher, though... =O

Anyway, time for a bit of a Glaceon_ Platinum update!~

There's a lot to add, seeing as I'd left it last time at only having reached Oreburgh. After getting there, I decided to go back to the area to the north of Jubilife and catch a Budew as a temporary stand-in for my team. With the aid of Budew, (of course, after a little training) I managed to defeat Roark, though my Monferno was the one to take down his final Pokemon; not Budew.

After that, I decided to go back to Jubilife and bumped into a Looker and while progressing North, Rowan and Lucas! We naturally defeated the goons hounding the Professor and then, I decided to hit the TV Station to sort out that pesky Mystery Gift.

Anyway, I carried on north, going through Floaroma Town and taking out the Galactic goons hounding the local Windworks. After that, I went and smeared honey on the three trees in that area, ready for when I came back, in the morning. I also caught a temporary stand-in; Buizel. I then progressed through Eterna Forest with Cheryll and headed straight for Eterna City, doing a few extra bits, such as getting the Cut HM, meeting my rival and Cyrus, once again and doing a little bit of Underground exploration, to gain a few Shards for later on... unfortunately, they were running scarce...

That was as far as I got, before I decided to call it a night. When I woke up, I went back to check on my trees, gaining a female Combee the first tree I checked, and a female Burmy in the one behind Floaroma Town. Unfortunately, the Windworks tree gave me a Male Combee... =( But Drifloon was there! So caught it. ^^ I then headed over to the Eterna Gym and took out Gardenia and her gym trainers in her newly designed Gym ( =O ) and headed over to the Galactic Headquarters to rustle up a bit more trouble for those guys, again. XD After that, I got my shiny new bike and headed south, back towards Oreburgh, where I did a little catching and collecting; particularly catching a Gligar.

After getting the Vs. Seeker and the Dowsing Machine, I went through Mt. Coronet, bumping into Cyrus once again, and the whole time, only coming across one encounter... o.o ...anyway, I progressed towards Route 208, finally gaining the third member of my final party; Ralts. (who will be a female Gardevoir) Entering Harthome City, I went straight to Bebe's place and picked up my Eevee, which I immediately traded over to evolve into Glaceon! I feel so happy, now... ^^

That's as far as I've currently got; I'm just training the new members of the team, before I take on Fantina; the Ghost type Gym Leader of Hearthome City!

Team:

Monferno @ Level 25
Luxio @ Level 24
Glaceon @ Level 21
Ralts @ Level 19
Temp. Stand-in Buizel @ Level 24

Currently training my CBNite traded from Diamond. Level 80 and counting, just taught it Superpower.

It's gonna be a real pain getting even more Red Shards x.x

Eh, when I got to Snowpoint City I wanted to just get the game over with so badly that I traded all my EV'd Pokemon over, so yeah... I swept the E4 with just a few Pokemon. Also, Distortion World was a bit of a disappointment, the controls when you're on the walls are a little awkwards since you move at an angle and your controlling yourself with just the 2D d-pad.

At this moment, I'm teaming up with my rival against Volkner and Flint.

Well since my last post, I made it to Snowpoint City and now I'm training my Pokemon so it can defeat Candices' Abomasnow. My current team is Luxray, Ponyta, Gengar, Dragonair, Wartortle, and Staravia.

So today, my friends and I all got around with our DS's and played Pokemon, because we are that nerdy. Anyways, we all did the Manaphy mission on Pokemon Ranger. After we all transfered them, I offered them a shiny for their egg. So I got them to trade me 4 Manaphy eggs. While I, got one myself. I hatched them, now I have 5 Manaphys. Later, I decided to try and get a Lucky Egg. So I went to where Chanseys are and battled Pokemon over and over. The 9th Chansey had a Lucky Egg, which is pretty neat. I beat the 5th and 6th gym leaders. Went to Iron Island just to get HM05. I am now battling a Team Galactic leader at the first lake in the game. My team is:

Wormadam LvL 45
Tangrowth LvL 46
Empoleon LvL 46

I want to train a Sneasle!

Beat the First gym with turtwig, bidoof, and spinx. Got the mystery gift and decided to share the rotom mystery gift in my japanese platinum and put it in my english platinum Im currently playing and just got. Traded in my japanse movie shaymin and movie regigias and got the flower and got the key item with the japanese movie Shaymin.

In Platinum, I ended up becoming impatient and decided to take on Hearthome City's Gym before raising all the Pokémon on my team to at least Lv. 25. Hearthome City's Gym specializes in the Pokémon I hate most, Ghost-types, because of how much their attacks can affect the battle. I easily defeated all the Gym trainers with Luxio and Grotle using Bite. Finally, I challenged the (psycho) Gym Leader, Fantina, and I ended up blacking out. I then knew that the only way I was going to beat this Gym was to make my Pokémon stronger, so I ended up raising all the Pokémon on my team to at least Lv. 25 like I was going to do before. My Zubat ended up evolving in to Golbat at Lv. 22, and my Golbat evolved in to Crobat at Lv. 23. I took on Fantina again and ended up winning this time. As a reward, I received the Relic Badge which allows you to use the move Defog outside of battle. She also gifted me with TM65 - Shadow Claw.

I am now traveling on Route 209. I just battled my rival, Nick, not too long ago, and I barely triumphed. The most recent thing I did was use an Odd Keystone on the Hallowed Tower. Currently, my Pokétch application, Friendship Checker, reads:

Lv. 27 Grotle: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 26 Staravia: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 25 Bibarel: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 26 Luxio: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 25 Kadabra: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 26 Crobat: ♥ ♥

As you can see, I didn't make as much progress today. That's because I didn't play as much as usual because I had a pounding headache all day.

On Pearl:- We finally reached our target levels of 47-50, and Gabriel evolved into a beautiful Garchomp, and her Dragon Claw attack proved very useful in the battle on top of Mount Coronet. Mars and Jupiter stepped up to battle, but just in time my rival, Barry arrived, and between us we beat them (absolutely no love for his stupid Munchlax which didn't attack once). Then I had to battle Cyrus after my team were healed up by Barry. I was glad I'd spent all that time training my team up, or else we would have been horribly underlevelled, and though we lost Fate and Rorschach (Zangoose and Lucario), we beat Cyrus in the end. Then, we faced Palkia and caught her in the Master Ball I had saved from a trade. After collecting the Lustrous Orb, we headed for the nearest Pokécentre and healed up before swapping Starstruck (Pink Gastrodon) for Brave-natured Palkia (after cloning him). I then renamed her Peridot and am now grinding ready to tackle Volkner.

Current Team:-
Trevor, Torterra, level 48
Gabriel, Garchomp, Level 49
Falcon, Staraptor, Level 50
Peridot, Palkia, Level 47
Fate, Zangoose, Level 49
Rorschach, Lucario, Level 50

In Platinum, I finally arrived in Veilstone City after a long adventure through Route 209, Solaceon Town, Route 210, and Route 215.

On Route 209, I obtained a Good Rod from a fisherman, picked some berries, and picked up TM47 - Steel Wing. I also walked inside the Lost Tower, but quickly left when I was told by a lady that it would be easier if I got Defog first. I then arrived in Solaceon Town.

In Solaceon Town, I recieved a Pokétch application, Pokémon History, from a man standing outside the Pokémon Center. On the east side of town, a lady gave me a Seal Case, and I ended up exploring Solaceon Ruins.

Inside Solaceon Ruins, I found some cool items incuding a Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunderstone, and HM5 - Defog. I also battled some trainers and caught a wild Pokémon named Unown. There wasn't much else to do, so I went on back to Solaceon Town.

Back in Solaceon Town, a boy gave me some Seals that were shaped like I's for showing him the Unown I had caught inside Solaceon Ruins. I then went to the Pokémon Day Care Center where I dropped off my Lv. 21 Unown and Lv. 1 Togepi. Once I did that, a man came and gave me an application for my Pokétch called the Day-Care Checker (that's the only reason I left my Pokémon at the Pokémon Day Care Center ;P). While my Pokémon were at the Day Care Center, I decorated a Poké Ball with a Star Seal that I put Grotle in. Finally, I picked my Pokémon up and went back to the Lost Tower after teaching Staravia Defog.

Inside the Lost Tower, I battled every trainer I could, but I didn't bother catching any wild Pokémon. I also obtained a few items from several people. Finally, I continued my adventure on Route 210.

On Route 210, I performed the same old routine; battled trainers, caught wild Pokémon, and collected items. It was really ruff considering there were no Pokémon Centers around, but I managed to survive. My Luxio ended up evolving in to Luxray, and my Grotle ended up evolving in to Torterra. Route 215 was basically the same. Finally, I arrived in Veilstone City.

I haven't done much in Veilstone City yet besides talk to Dawn and Crasher Wake (Pastoria City's Gym Leader). I am currently raising all the Pokémon on my team to at least Lv. 30, and I think I'm going to end it here for the night. It's 6:04 AM, and I haven't gotten any sleep yet. Goodnight! :cer_tongue:

Lv. 32 Torterra: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 26 Staravia: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 25 Bibarel: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 30 Luxray: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 26 Kadabra: ♥♥ ♥♥
Lv. 28 Crobat: ♥♥ ♥♥

Now I'm still currently training my team so I can finally defeat Candice. My current Pokemon team are Wartortle, Staravia, Ponyta, Dragonair, Gengar, and Luxray.

(Jeez I wish I can find a hacker so I can get this over with!)

Okay well a lot has happened since I posted last. Can't remember what I posted last but I'm too lazy to go look so I'll just summarize. I've beaten all of the gym leaders, beat team G, caught giratina, caught azelf, and I even caught Uxie in a regular pokeball I was like wow that's the first time I've done anything like that lol I also beat the elite four and completed the sinnoh dex and upgraded to the national dex. I've been working on my villa and it's coming along nicely. As far as the battle frontier, ace, my shiny espeon, has 50 straight wins at the battle hall and he beat the frontier brain of the battle hall. It was sweet I even saved the video. Oh yeah I taught ace signal beam. and I also taught my adamant weavile Ice punch! :D I feel like an awesome trainer! :D lol anyway, I'm currently training a pokemon in platinum since I basically only played with my starter turtwig in platinum and migrated everybody else! lol My secret base underground is also nice. It's beautiful. In platinum I've been planting berries like crazy. I have so many already! OH yeah I totally forgot! I have to go get my lv 1. Regigigas and the trio! lol can't believe that slipped my mind! I also have Heatran to go get. I wonder if I'm leaving anything out. Oh yeah I migrated my pory 2 and I plan on getting him and weavile to lv 100. I still have tons of pokemon to trade over but it's a work in progress. After I finish the startk mountain quest I'll just train in the trainer cafe and fight the gym leaders and teammates at the battle tower to get to lv 100. Talk about tons to do in platinum! Until next time!

I've finally defeated Candice because I've traded my Luxray for a level 100 Infernape

I got my Platinum version yesterday afternoon. I chose Turtwig as my starter, and then decided to catch a Shinx. I carried on to Jubilife City and got my Poke'tch from Looker. I then contined onto Oreburg City and managed to beat Roark. I made my way to Eterna, and tried defeating Gardenia, and after MANY tries,I finally defeated her! Next,I made my way to the next city -- Hearthome. I battled Fantina a few times and managed to defeat her. Now I'm making my way to Veilstone to get my fourth badge.

Current Team

Grotle - Level 28
Luxio - Level 27
Cranidos - Level 23
Togepi Level 23
Ponyta - Level 21

I have now caught the Legendary Birds. It took about an hour in all. Here's my list of things left to do in Platinum before I trade over my competitive battlers from Pearl and make a new team:
-Catch the Regi Trio
-Explore Snowpoint Temple and Catch Regigigas
-Catch Heatran
-Battle the higher leveled Elite Four.

I've defeated Cryus for the first time and recieved the Master Ball to catch the God of all Pokemon, Arceus.

From my last update, I swept all the gym leaders, and caught an Electabuzz and evolved it into an Electivire. Went through Victory Road on my first shot, and beat my rival.

Infernape
Feraligatr
Espeon
Togekiss
Electivire
Gliscor

All level 51
