4th Gen Sinnoh Journey Journal - Want to share your travelling stories?

I managed to finish EV training my perfect IV + EV Bagon and now have began to evolve him. He is currently a level 40 Shelgon. Luckily, I breed them with Dragon Claw and Brick Break. By the way, how does a ball break bricks?
 
Ive finally beaten the Gym leaders and I only started on the 5th of June. My pokemon in order are
1) Kadabra level:40
2) Machoke level:37
3) Gyarados a.k.a. Rage level:39
4) Luxray a.k.a. Simba level:37
5) Staraptor a.k.a. Sky level:34
6) Torterra level:39
I beat all of the gym leaders with my pokemon. I need to train them up now.

I pressed on to Route 209, pausing to train my pokemon from time to time. While doing so, I came across a wild Bonsly. I had Cherubi and Beautifly battle it, then caught it with a pokeball. I continued training that evening, and eventually my Chingling evolved into a Chimecho!

I went back to the pokemon center, and decided to rotate my team. I stored Cherubi, Beautifly, and Chimecho, and chose Magikarp and my fourth and final Burmy to come along.

Pokemon team: Budew, Bonsly, Magikarp, Burmy, and Happiny

All young pokemon that definitely couldn't be used in battle. So, off to Route 209 to train some more. During the day, my Budew evolved into Roselia! Then I did some fishing on one of the docks on the route, and fished up tons of Magikarp. Eventually, I came across a Goldeen, which I easily captured and added to my team.

Later that evening, a buddy of mine stopped over and directed me to a ruined tower on Route 209. I entered an Odd Keystone that I received from a guy on Route 208. The ruins started to shake. Then we did some playing around in the underground. I also lost a battle to him (again). Much later that night, I returned to the ruined tower. A strange ghost pokemon appeared! I had Roselia paralyze it with Stun Spore, then tossed a pokeball, which successfully caught it. According to the Pokedex, it's a Spiritomb, a Ghost- and Dark-type with no weaknesses and not a bad moveset of attacks. It is said to formed by 108 spirits and bound to the keystone due to misdeeds 500 years ago. Creepy. But cool.

Entered a Smart Contest with Roselia. The visual competition looked to be a four-way tie essentially, and then Roselia took the lead in the dance competition. It managed to keep that lead through the appeals round, and won its first contest ribbon! After the contest, I took a slow stroll across Route 209 and finally made it to Solaceon Town. I visited the Day-Care there, and left my Roselia with the couple who work there. There were many other pokemon already there. A short while later, I returned to pick up Roselia and the Day-Care man also gave me a pokemon egg. I already had 6 pokemon, so I transferred Roselia out of my party and took the egg. Later that day, the egg hatched into a Turtwig! It looks like it knows Worry Seed, an attack that my Roselia knows. I caught Turtwig in its pokeball, and then went back out to Route 209 to train.

I withdrew these Pokemon, because I planned on EV training them. All I plan on doing is EV training them, I am right now EV training my Voltorb, getting 255 is attack and 255 in Speed.
 
I Caught The Legendary Palkia With A Poke Ball!

I just caught a legendary Palkia with a Poke Ball! I caught with my first try to catch it!

Share your thoughts about this.
 
Congrats. Not really impressive though. I had the same thing happen to me with Dialga. Wittled it's health to red and caught it with my first pokeball.
 
Catchrate is 30. No big deal. I caught it with Darkball in the day and one time I caught it with Darkball in the day without lowing his HP.

And Uxie with a Luxury Ball.
And Azelf with a Luxury Ball.
