    Who will be your HM slave in HG/SS? And will he/she be with you at nearly all times?

    I have yet to decide who to make my slave. Maybe Furret because I'll teach my Noctowl fly and my Lapras surf.

    I wish they hadn't added Rock Climb.....and i think you shouldn't need any HMs to get to Red....as that sucks, because you can't have your full team.

    I'm gonna use my Tropius from Platinum (Cut,Rock Smash,Fly,Strength), and my Gyarados can have Surf,Waterfall,Whirlpool,Rock Climb.
     
    I don't know which one I'll use probably Furret for strength rock smash etc. and R.Gyarados with the water ones and Pidgeot for fly b/c he looks coolest.
     
    I don't really know, probably something for Cut then that there shiny Gyarados for the water HMs.
     
    Golduck learns everything except Cut and Fly, which you don't need for Red. Obviously it can't learn 6 moves though.
     
    I just use the pokemon in my party, but only for the main ones.
    Surf and Waterfall are actually pretty decent moves. I use surf as a main water attack, and waterfall if I need a Physical move, or a move that doesn't hurt my teammate. I don't normally have a pokemon with cut, I just bring one out if I need it. Rockclimb is a decent move too, it's 90 and it confuses. Strength isn't bad, but I don't use it much. I only use rock smash if I have to.

    Slave?? Lol. I use the term Mule. But then my mule would be Bibarel.
     
    I dunno, I hate using HM slaves,always seems like I'm wasting a slot when I use one, but at the same time I hate giving my main team moves they'll never use, I'll probably end up using one this game though as I know the team I want to use and was unsure of the 6th but dunno who yet.
     
    It will be Furret, and any stupid bird that can learn Fly.
    If there's a way to get Pelipper, it'll learn both Fly and Surf for me. Or I'll just go with Surf on my Kingdra, whichever comes earlier.
     
    Since my Pidgeot who will be in my time will learn fly and my slowbro surf I'll use furret since it can learn whirlpool in HGSS and I'll also teach it Rock Smash, Strength and Cut
     
    i'm gonna use the smeargle i got in platinum. me and my friend used it's sketch to make it learn; cut, rock smash, strength, and because i ticked my friend off whirlpool(this happened BEFORE HG/SS was first shown, and because it was shown he was EXTREMELY ticked off)

    Well, I wouldn't say I'd have an HM slave. I just always assign moves to the most convenient Pokemon. For Fly, I always give it to Noctowl because it's also a great attack. I usually sub Tackle for Cut. I give surf to my water Poke because it's also also a good attack. I don't know what I'll do about Rock Climb though.
